- Hello everyone, welcome to this video. This video is the Updated version of how to install macOS on supported PC. In this video we are going to setup EFI and making the macOS Installer.
Links:
Opencore Install Guide - dortania.githu...
Propertree - github.com/cor...
GenSMBIOS - github.com/cor...
Python latest version - www.python.org... | Can also be installed in Microsoft Store
Intel Desktop Config.plist - github.com/5T3...
Part 2 - • OpenCore Hackintosh | ...
In part 2, instead of using Opencore Auxiliary tools which can mess up sometimes the config.plist, use Propertree and do OC Snapshot after adding drivers/tools/kexts. To mount the EFI use MountEFI or ESP Mounter Pro (MountEFI recommended) to mount it.
As said in the video Here is the BIOS Settings you need to change:
First of all, optimize BIOS settings/reset BIOS settings
Second of all, change the BIOS settings, according to OpenCore:
DISABLE
Fast Boot
Secure Boot
Serial/COM Port
Parallel Port
VT-d (can be enabled if you set DisableIoMapper to YES)
Compatibility Support Module (CSM) (Must be off in most cases, GPU errors/stalls like gIO are common when this option is enabled)
Thunderbolt (For initial install, as Thunderbolt can cause issues if not setup correctly)
Intel SGX
Intel Platform Trust
CFG Lock (MSR 0xE2 write protection)(This must be off, if you can't find the option then enable AppleXcpmCfgLock under Kernel and then Quirks. Your hack will not boot with CFG-Lock enabled)
ENABLE
VT-x
Above 4G Decoding
2020+ BIOS Notes: When enabling Above4G, Resizable BAR Support may become an available on some Z490 and newer motherboards. Please ensure that Booter - Quirks - ResizeAppleGpuBars is set to 0 if this is enabled.
Hyper-Threading
Execute Disable Bit
EHCI/XHCI Hand-off
OS type: Windows 8.1/10 UEFI Mode (some motherboards may require "Other OS" instead)
DVMT Pre-Allocated(iGPU Memory): 64MB or higher
SATA Mode: AHCI
Hope you enjoyed this video, this video is saved in Hackintosh Playlist so that you can access easily though.
The part 2 - Post Install is also saved in Hackintosh Playlist.
This video is for people that understand basics of the hardware, knows the basics of command line tools, very careful of what you doing and knowing what you doing.

First video to actually show the process and selections during the install/reboot stages, thanks!
You are welcome! And thanks for the support 😀
@@DaniPlaysTech hey , my pc specs are ryzen 3 3200g , 16gb ddr4 ram and a recently bought rx 6600. i tried installing mac os sonoma on pc prior to purchase of gpu. but after i installed gpu and try to install mac os on ssd instead of hard drive , my pc screen just goes black after completing 65-70%. whats the solution??
Way too fast and complicated for a nube. I appreciate your attempt to help, but this is way too fast to follow and understand, even if paused, we don't get what you're doing.
Hello, thanks for reviewing, will do better next time!
Just pause.. try to shutup and focus.. this is my first time and i can follow him.. just pause step by step
@@Home-nf8ue No need to be nasty. Even the creator acknowledged he agrees to slow it down next time. Like the old saying says, if you can only be one thing--be nice..
pls can you help in this moment of the video 10:10 i dont see where is the composante to instale for alder laker . thank you
Install the SSDT’s from Comet Lake section, also I will be making a video for installing macOS on 11th generation or higher.
@@DaniPlaysTech thank you for your fast respond youre the best i am going to suscribe
when i want to download sonoma in cmd, it says that Python couldnt be found and it wont install. to note i have a windows 10 laptop
Hello, first of all do you have Python installed in your PC? Also did you open the command prompt in the right folder?
I'm trying this on my Dell Optiplex 3050 with i5 7th gen core, after disabling the necessary things in BIOS, the Open Core OS is not showing on the boot up screen and only allows me to select and go back to Windows 11, am I doing something wrong? I followed all the instructions from this video and from OpenCore Install Guide.
I'm facing the same issue!
Did you try using space key to show more options?
just saying if you cant understand this guide, just follow the part where you make the bootable and find a EFI for your motherboard or laptop online
This is true but you will still need to edit the config.plist adding the SMBIOS data in it. Also if you have problems with booting or similar, no support is given by me for pre-built EFI.
not any pc/laptop, only the supported ones
True
Don’t allow me to do the cmd download part
hi. i did every steps but at loading screen to boot usb it was stuck in black screen. how can i fix it? my laptop is Dell with cpu ivy bridge i3-3327U
Can you share the screenshot in Discord of your issue? My user is DaniPlaysTech
I did everything correctly but got stuck at minute 10. So how do I continue if I have a laptop? (ASUS Vivobook S 14 Flip - intel i7-13700H)
I will be releasing a new video for installing macOS specifically for 11th generation and higher. I recommend you to wait until I release the video.
@@DaniPlaysTech Thank you very much! when are you releasing it?
I will be releasing probably on Friday or Saturday.
@@DaniPlaysTech Thank you very much! I can not wait! I'm desperate. I've been trying to install on VIRTUALBOX for a few days and it just gets stuck in the installation.
Ya me sale el menú para instalar, pero no me salen los discos duros, alguien sabe como solucionarlo
I have a letest i5 13th gen processor ( asus zenbook 14 oled ux3402 ) processor type raptor lake but system stuck during installation please make one video for dual boot with 13gen letest generation for laptop
Hi
What should i add in nvram>boot.args ifmy specs is i3 9100f and rx580
You should add -v debug=0x100 keepsyms=1 unfairgva=1
Where can I find the system requirements (CPU, chipset etcetc)?
There isn't really a website that tells system requirements for Sonoma Hackintosh (there are some but only tells the SMBios ie. iMac 18.1) but I recommend you follow hardware limitations if you are asking about this:
dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/macos-limits.html
Just google bro. Wtf question is this..
This is dual boot or not
I think this will be my next project
Cool!
I installed the python but it keep saying not found... How to fix pls
Try installing Python from Microsoft Store.
add to path
yo do you know if a intel n100 gen12 could support ?
@@mattstreamm Does it have a dGPU?
@@DaniPlaysTech it doesn’t :/
@@mattstreamm Oh, then it doesn’t support unfortunately.
ight 👍
it says image verification failed on the download section...
If it says failed, go to that macrecovery folder and remove the com.apple.recovery.boot . After that try again. It says failed because the image wasn’t downloaded good.
@@DaniPlaysTech thanks! :)
Hi,
I have a desktop computer with the following specifications. Windows 11 and BigSur installed on two separate partitions work flawlessly as dual boot. My Hackintosh system works smoothly like a real Mac computer with its Apple ID, Facetime, Airdrop, Graphics Card, Sound, Wifi etc. features. My wifi card and video card are natively supported by macOs. So I didn't install any kext for these two devices. I want to install Sonoma on my own system using the method you showed. Can I use it without problems like BigSur?
I'm asking this because I heard that Sonoma support is no longer available for the Wifi card I currently use. Do you have knowledge on the subject?
My system:
•Gigabyte Z490 Vision D
•Intel i9 10850K
•2X Samsung 1TB 970 Evo Plus NVMe (macOS/Windows 11)
•Corsair 64GB (4x16) Vengeance LPX 3600mhz CL18 DDR4
•Sapphire AMD RX580 (Native support)
•Broadcom BCM94360 1750 Mbps 802.11ac Pci-E WiFi (Native support)
Yes, you can update the macOS to Sonoma without problems. Just make sure when updating have SecureBootModel to disabled.
@@DaniPlaysTech I understand But when you say "update", I guess you don't mean directly updating the system right now. So I guess I should install Sonoma from scratch, just like installing a new Hackintosh.
You can choose to install Sonoma from scratch or just update it. Last time I updated macOS from macOS Ventura from Sonoma and it worked flawlessly.
@@DaniPlaysTech Ok I understand. Thank you for the quick replies. I will try. Later, I will try to give you information about the result here. 🖖

brooooo my CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx how to get SSDT for it or which SSDT should I choose from the list
OpenCore’s Wiki says that AMD laptops with iGPUs don’t have MacOs support
How i get mac os catalina please shre me link on the sites i have window pc
In this video I showed you how to get it. Instead of doing Sonoma, do Catalina (Or whatever). The links are in description.
I successfully install in lifebook u939
Congratulations!
heloo friand, the command hes dont know py how i can do?
For the command you need to have python installed. Then on the page where I showed in the video choose the macOS version and copy that command
removing suffix 3 from python3 worked for me
Great!
@@DaniPlaysTech tell me SSDT for Ryzen 5 3550 please, 🥺 i want to learn Swift code peeeez
icloud could not be activated because of a server error mac Sonoma 14
Help me please
Hi, I replied but i do not see it. You can check.
I trying on Gigabyte Z270x-gaming 7, i7-7700k Kaby lake, MSI RTX 1080Ti 11Gb, SSD 500GB. My screen appeared OCB: StartImage failed and support apple /mac/startup opencore error. I also followed the instruction from opencore install guide. But not work.
Can you do a tutorial how to download python?
Here’s how to install Python:
First, download python installer from the link in the description.
Second, install Python by following the instructions. And then you have Python installed
Another way to install Python, which is to download it from Microsoft Store.
Hi can you guide me what are the SSDT's I should use for raptor lake
The SSDT's for 11th Generation CPU's or higher should follow the 10th generation guide (Comet Lake). Don't forget to spoof the CPU-ID to Comet Lake.
Thanks for the reply can you provide me any guide on how to spoof the cpu id
It will be some work to do. I will cover this part in my next video.
@@DaniPlaysTech Thanks man you are great
@@ruku2702I made a video of CPU-ID Spoofing, you can watch it if you need it.

When I run the command to download the image nothing happens in terminal. Why?
Is it because you don’t have Python installed in your PC?
