- In this video I use 3/8 cold rolled steel to create a low profile cabinet to showcase 150 knifes at my friends restaurant.
I use 1/4" wired glass that weighed in at about 60lbs.
over all the weight was about 300lbs
I use the Lincoln Electric MP210 TIG & Square Wave 200 MIG
machines
This will be hung in a restaurant in Hollywood ca. I will instagrm when it is in place!

Finally, the hole punch I was looking for!
Jimmy Diresta finding the little hands is the best thing on the internet
Another amazing Diresta build. That has to be the sexiest latch ever created.
U still make some of the best vids on the RUclipss......can't turn away and can't skip ahead!!!
Your skill, sped up videos, and editing out of repititous work masks the soul crushing amount of work that is required of these projects. Great job.
Excellent as usual and the little extra effort in video editing, lighting and production didn't go unnoticed!
Hey Jimmy, you are the King! Thanks for sharing your knowledge💪👍
Awesome build jimmy! Lots of little tips (per the usual) especially the trick for all the brass hanging pins!!👍👊😊
That was incredibly well built. Over-built. Wouldn't be a vault without being exactly that. Love it.
The tiny hands never fail to make my chuckle.
Classic old school DiResta. Great vid.
Great video as always! No one's getting into that display case anytime soon. I love the jig to install all the pins!
Figments Made Lockpicking Lawyer 🙃
Bravo! Think, sketch, organise then from raw stock with muscle, hand & eye comes what the mind had created, told to us in the measuring, cutting, welding & smiles of the little hands that clap. Thanks for sharing!
Nice build!! Can't beat a Diresta welding video. I had to laugh at 4:20 when you get your jacket caught,.. Great job as always!
Always look forward to your videos Jimmy. Great stuff as always!!
One of my favorites in recent memory. I love the way you sling tools and materials around. I can imagine the cringes around the world. 😀
I know what it feels like when you finish something and you go to see it and touch it on several occasions, it's like appreciating your work of art, congratulations for the feeling
That Classy Industrial 1950 "s American Strong Look ..... I once again was Educated and Entertained .... Stay well my brother , Stay safe..... Pay it Forward is coming , the boomerang of the 3's is happening ... Let see how well you remember the movie ....
It's cool to see the funny side of you! not only was this a really cool build, but it had me laughing several times too!!
Wicked nice, as they say in Maine and other areas of the Northeast, or at least it was once said....in my youth. Thanks for the great video, still love the little hands of approval!
Another Diresta work of art!
Using the wood to set all the nails was genius.
The thing that makes you better than just a creator Jimmy is not so much what you make- but the fact you are so versatile. Your videos are brilliantly watchable because you don't bore us with too much talk and intros - and they are very very well put together. You're a clever man.

my favourite kind of furniture glass and steel. Heavy duty baby.
0:37 is the best part!! The way he sounds when he struggling in fast motion and looks at the camera 😂😂
Your videos always make it evident, small details and the right materials make an item. The heavy natal and that padlock just gives this an awesome edge!!!

That was a very impressive build on that Knife Cabinet. That friend is lucky to have you do it for him. The unfinished finish is tops just as it is. Sweet.
Fantastic to watch Jimmy! Thank you for sharing your skills! I bought a welder so I can make metal things. You are very inspiring.
Beautiful work my friend! Absolutely love the look, the total over-building, and the awesome choice in hardware.
my favorite part is how he put the nails in. The Wood template/depth guide/alignment guide was genius. Things like that make me realize the depth of Jimmy's thinking.
Some of your best content. Straight forward build with great editing, no bullshit. Keep it up!
Can't say that this is my favourite vídeo, because i reallly like them all, but it is really a beautiful work. Thanks for that. Keep inspiring people.

A functional work of art, as usual. You never disappoint. I apply methods I've watched you use in my day job as a commercial carpenter. Thank you for sharing! I'll send you an email tomorrow!
Love it! My favorite part was the hasp opening for the first time after it was mounted.
you can tell this guy deserves every bit of fame and fortune just by the look of his hands....
Reckon you really have some skills, like a lot the wood dime to have straight and perfectly aligned the "hanging handmade nails"...Thanks Mr.DiResta
why did I ever stop watching this??? I love this channel!
Love it! We need videos of just clips with the little hands, it gets me every time, it’s the best!
i love so much your noise in the videos
As a knife collector (pocket knives, bowies, combat knives, daggers, etc.) this is so nice, I could almost cry! 😢 😅
May have to buy one of these, if I ever get a bigger house, and a bit more money? 😃💰
great practical techniques for layout, always the hardest part of any job. cheers mate, good job.
That is one heck of a knife cabinet. I don't think anyone will be getting through that in a hurry. It's going to really look great with all the knives hanging in it. Cool build as always.
As always a such a beautiful job. That is fanatastic. Thank you
Amazing video Jimmy, so much creative problem solving and ingenious tips and tricks!
The way you welded the hasp to the door frame was genius... even though you've changed.
That's a great tip, using the square with the angle grinder, thank you!
Great build! I liked the editing, good combination of "classic Diresta" sped up with jump cuts to keep the action moving, well done!
Assisto todos seus videos e fico indignado com tantas ferramentas e o jeito fantástico que você as usa com tanta plasticidade parabéns Jimmy.
This is amazing!! Can't wait to see the blades inside!
You’re fearless in your concepts & design. Respect. Love the hard industrial look with the subtle felt background & brass pegs. Black electrical tape works great in a pinch for a shop bandaid also lol. Been there done that 👍
Love the peg/nail jig... tucking that one away for later use. Really like the look of this one. Love the tiny hands lol... - Jim
You bloody ripper mate! Truly amazing cobber.
Everything about the locking mechanism is genius Jimmy. Love this video man!! Killer
That thing looks bomb proof. The lock hasp should hold.
When I saw the photo of this on IG, I thought it was something you purchased and were restoring. Very impressive to see you built it from scratch. I should have known.
Dude, the way you welded the pegs into the bar stock blew my mind. Great build man.
