It'd be great if you came to Canada to show these people how bad their system is referring to the use of e-log and how ridiculous their system is to get class 1 driver's license here even when we are already truckers in Mexico with lots of years of experience.

What is your point? Do you think he is wrong by saying that you can work the 17th hour or 18th and 19th? He is well, right. But you must take 10 hours reset in order to drive again. If I want, I can be 24 hrs on duty and still be legal.
Back to the paper log days you can actually show 8.75 total for each day and never do a reset.
You made this way more difficult than it had to be
On duty time cannot be used as part of your 34 hour restart.

No work day in real trucking with an eld is going to be at or less than 8.75 hours. Your going to be late on every load.

This what I was thinking so basically recap is good if you don’t get loads and be waiting around more than usual
Recap is good if you have a set number of days you’ll be out like 12 16 etc that way every day is used and not wasted plus you’ll be better rested

How about we abolish logs altogether and make laws allowing drivers (hazmat or not) to sleep when they want without any repercussions?
