  • It is very common for new carriers to be concerned about the idea that brokers wont work with them because they are new. While this is true sometimes, it usually wont have a huge effect on your business as long as you know who to work with in those first few months!

      @@Alexedmartin. There are many lucrative investments out there. I always tell people that saving is good, but investing is best. If you keep your money in the bank, you cannot make profits. You also have to give up a lot when it comes to saving. My advice is that before considering investing, you should consult an investment advisor first so you don't make a mistake or regret it later. I started Investment with the help of a financial expert Regina Louise Collaro , she is quite popular for her services so you might have heard of her. I earn on a monthly basis through passive income with her Financial aid

    Melanie, I just found your great videos and have a couple of questions. Why did you open a second company for dry vans instead of including them with your refer company? I run two types of equipment with my company, belt trailers for various commodities and refers for various types of cold products, or dry loads. Not knowing where you are located I'm sure it's not California where AB5 was passed, since you are looking for owner/operators to lease on with you. I'm old school, so my handle is Scorpio. 10-4?

    • @TruckingMadeSuccessful
      @TruckingMadeSuccessful  Год назад +1

      Miranda haha. The second company has a different insurance provider which allows us to hire newer drivers. Our OG company has very stringent requirements from insurance for hiring team members. I am located in Cali, so AB5 is definitely something that affects us. CA is the single worst state to run a trucking business out of, but what can you do? Roll with the punches as I always say.

      If I get my authority, am I required to have anything else in order to get this like an LLC, commercial insurance, and/or anything else?
      I would prefer to hold off on everything if I get this authority until it's useable and I am good to get loads under it, why would I pay for this high-cost insurance if I am not using it?
      I'll do what I have to but I also need to save money everywhere I can right now until I am able to get going with some decent money, right now I'm in limbo because I just renewed my drivers license and all the DMV gave me was a temp license and my old license expired on 4/23 and apps I'm using have me on hold until I get my license in the mail, they will not accept my temp license even though it's perfectly legal.
