Most people store their premium Bibles horizontally, so I think the direction of the embossing on the spine makes sense. I love how they just write the Word of God.
The HIStory Bible reads like a news stand paperback but feels like a high quality book.
Would love the red goatskin humble lamb one
Did you hear Humble Lamb is working on the NLT? Very exciting
Got the preorder email!
For everyone waiting it’s called NLT SonRise. Kickstarter starts on 6/28/24.
@fishgurusince1985 thank you for letting me know. Will you be purchasing it? Blessings 🕊🤍💛
@@Dylan-wn7dm I love Humble Lamb, I love the NLT. It will be a 1st edition and it will be at a discount for early orders. I’m going to order 4 if I can. One for each family member.
@@fishgurusince1985 awesome, I to love and enjoy the NLT
@fishgurusince1985 I hope you and your family enjoy them well
i love how they put their logo on the inside and give the spotlight to the word of god. it’s beautiful.
The HIStory has become my daily reading Bible. I get through so much more text. It flows nicely. Its a high quality product.
love the drop caps and the gilding on the pages are beautiful.
God bless you, Jeremy. God bless your Ministry in your family, relationships, and whatever you put your hands to in His Name. May the Lord go before you and prepare your steps as He establishes you.
Thanks for sharing,
Blessings
Wow, they are beautiful!
The Amethyst option for the HIStory Bible also looks great, but they're pricey 😬
A modified HL bible would be awesome to see! Thanks for the video, brother.
Well said
This is a pretty high end Bible. I would definitely like to see the insides.
I'm confused. "You say they should be found they messed up" (sideways embossing,) but then say "they got it right. Do you like the sideways or not? I love it myself.
I use the Cambridge turquoise calf split and it isn't floppy. I use it for reading and preaching. Calf split is underrated.
I agree. I have a Cambridge Cameo, Cambridge Concord, and Cambridge Pitt Minion all in calf-split leather bindings. Cambridge calf-split leather is high quality and softens with use so it feels great in your hands.
Whoa, I have a humble lamb bible but NOT like that, will have to pick one up
God is one not three. Jesus didnt die for your sins, your lord raised him up. Repent for your sins before you meet your end. Witness me judgment day that I delivered this message. And peace be upon those who follow guidance.
If He didn’t die for your sins then you will be facing judgement, Mohammad is dead, Jesus is not.
@@frostLeather Jesus could not have died for your sins if you believe the Bible. Deuteronomy 24:16, Ezekiel 18:20, and Jeremiah 31:29-30 all emphasize individual responsibility for sin.
Jesus came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel, specifically the ten divorced northern tribes. They couldn’t return to Israel. By the husband dying, they could return. That’s the good news, my friend.
Jesus did not do what you need to do. Why do you think there are all those verses that say what you DO matters?
Get away from me I do not know you , you who do lawlessness (sin)
Watch “Jim Staleys identity crises” ,
HL isn't afraid to try new things, I'm not a fan of the Dore pictures, but by the looks of it, HL is putting out some quality Bibles and bindings, and I love that London Red. I'd like to see what you can do about making an edge-lined bound Bible lay flatter.
To your first point, that’s why I love hardback Bibles. Can you rebind a hardback and make it into a premium Frost Bible?
Yes you can!
Almost perfect. If they didn't have that "artwork" in them I'd be an owner.
Yea im not a fan of the artwork as i think thats not how Jesus looks like.
Great video...Yes take it apart and modify it.👍
My favorite is the kjver sword Bible Gods words in red in Old Testament no other Bible I’ve found has that .
I liked my Humble Lamb HIStory NASB until I found they left the error of II Samuel 21:19 in it, so I am sticking with my KJV and NKJV also Humble Lambs. 😐
Is this available in the NIV?
Humble Lamb haven't made an NIV edition yet as far as I know.
I checked the website and couldn't find a single column, paragraph version.
They are there
Would you be interested in selling just the box? I bought the Bible as an open box and am looking for the box to go with it!
Don't have the box or bible anymore, my apologies!
I have this Bible. It would be a shame to take apart such a beautiful Bible!
it certainly is
You working on your vehicle again?
Yes sir, had to replace the steering rack and pinion, brand new turning for the old rig.
@@frostLeatherI tore a muscle in my shoulder so my red rusty truck is still in the garage with no progress in weeks. At least got oil pan back on. Next is putting differential and axles back together 😂 God is good though. I know he’s healing me.
I’m just against the “pictures” of Christ. He wasn’t effeminate and he wasn’t a beardless. The word literally says they ripped his beard from his face. Also he didn’t have long hair because the Bible says it’s a shame for a man to have long hair. He was a strong man with rough hands. He wasn’t a pretty boy.
Between the drop caps, pictures, art gilding and references it would be way too busy for long readings imo. Definitely interested in you taking it apart though!
DO IT lay flat only!
I wish they had it 5:43 in kjv nkjv or niv esv
The kjv turqoise is the word of god. That particular humble Lamb nasb has leaven. I have a 1995 nasb but I make sure I keep the doctrine the kjv.
So I do use it but carefully
Where's the leaven in the nasb 95?
@@johntrevett2944 go to RUclips and search for vids that show you. King james vs nasb . Do some kind of search you will find something. There's alot on the niv but the nasb is just as bad. For example the nasb says being saved. The King James are saved. The work is finished eternal security. It may cause some to stumble the nasb .
Disappointed in the NASB 2020 Humble Lamb. Besides this version has missing verses. I just found out the 2020 is not the same as the 2019 NASB. It's hard to read and harder to find the verses when you need to because everything feels squished to fit in the page. I wish I can take a picture of what I mean. Nice beautiful leather. The pictures are nice and well made.
Tinker
That's right lol
lol, with the Turquoise and you flipping and rolling the bible will obviously make it very floppy. That’s why I have mine in the calfsplit leather to hold the textblock without any problems. Humble Lamb is nice but not a fan of the nasb2020 and the Dore Pictures. Obviously if a bible is personal size it fits in the hand better but this is a poor comparison in my opinion. I’d choose the Turquoise all day!
"I'm not here to give the specific details of this bible" says the poster. Stupid me! I thought this was a bible review video! Instead we're treated with " this bible is WAY cool!" Smh..
Sorry Im such a let down
I don't see that the red HIStory bible is available any more. Do you want to sell yours?
Mine is not available my friend, hopefully they will print more.
Get rid of the drop caps and I’m in.
That’s not Turquoise that’s black
No its a Turquoise :)
@@frostLeather unfortunately
Don’t touch that Bible bro.
too late!
I almost bought a Humble Lamb Bible but decided against it and bought a Cambridge Pitt Minion NKJV in Brown Goat skin instead. The only thing that stopped me from buying Humble Lamb was the Made in China label. I’d be fine with any Bible so long as it wasn’t printed in the following anti-Christian and/ or western hostile/ belligerent positioned countries such as China, North Korea, India or any of the Islamic countries in the Middle East, Central Asia or Africa. It would be awesome to see Bibles being printed in the United States again which they were still making as recently as the early 90s before it was all outsourced overseas.
Who cares where a Bible is printed? It is the Word of God. Why deny hardworking people a job - no matter what the politics or the religion of the country may be? That doesn't sound very Christian to me.
And what? Do you really think the men and women working in Chinese printing houses and binderies want to destroy you and your freedoms???
"anti-Christian and/ or western hostile/ belligerent positioned countries" also describes western countries now 😬 🤷♂
