im really glad someone else is putting some respect on blipbugs name, hes an ANIMAL in this game, gmax orbeetle is just a complete tank and makes it so easy to get spores off
Too true - even knowing all of the advantages Orbeetle had, I was still surprised with how much it trivialised Eternatus. And definitely no slouch before then either!
The PMD music really adds to the sort of adventure theme going on
The double G-Max is a bug in the game en, which is fitting for the mono Challenge !

Going to be honest Scizor with double iron metal bash is kind of broken for a bug run
Scizor won my run. Bug Bite, Heavy Cleave, a fighting move I can't remember right now, and Iron Head. It also had technition for bug bite and the fighting move.

Been using heracross and scizor since gen2 They're always gonna be on a bug run if I run one

You can. I snatched it in Endless with Grip Claw, but it beat me anyway.
Electric is my personal favorite type and I think an electric only run with forgotten pokemon such as zebstrika could be sick!

Great video! I'd love to see a mono-Electric run that uses a Tynamo powerleveled into an Eelektross. Tynamo is one of the more difficult starts in the game IMO, since without a decent egg move you're forced to use very limited moves. Conversely, Eelektross has an incredibly varied movepool, including a really fun boosting move in Coil.

Wimpod and Goliosopod could’ve worked since it’s a solid check to rock and fire types
Dewpider and araquanid would be better now that I think about it. Emergency exit is far worse than araquanids ability is.

Why didn't you use the lock capsule when you got rogue items
4:18 yeah, items are insane. I had a linoone with pickup and belly drum, so basically if it ever got hit after belly drum, it would get about 3 berries to boost it and then it sweeped with slash.
I wish this was how gigantimax forms would be implanted now - so many Pokémon, languishing in obscurity or underuse because of power creep, or having underwhelming evolutiona
Just a quick tip: you could have locked the rarities of the rouge tier items to reroll them

I just finished my first 200. I’m so psyched to see weedle here because I took mine with thousand arrows and attack order right from start to finish. I never got a mega stone but that Beedrill put in WORK. I love my bugs

I can see the Blipbug line doing well, I used a Fenniken (and its evolutions) as my main sweeper and it also gets the Psychic Surge/Expanding Force combo.

I have always like Butterfree, so with the but of extra help from magician and a g-max I'm not surprised to see it do well.
I'm in a run now where I use my own butterfree with twinbeam to steal items... still waiting for gmax, but the thing is incredible !

I basically always start a run with both fuecoco and flutter main. And I always find it so funny when I’m spamming torch song and my opponent does nothing but switch their active Pokémon around. It’s so funny when the ai does that,
i swept Eternatus with gmax Orbeetle maybe 2 days before this video came out so upon watching it as soon as Blipbug was named in the starting lineup i knew what was up

I did a bug-only run with a shiny nincada that evolved into shiny ninjask and shiny shedinja. Using tera shards with shedinja was truly incredible, I managed to be ghost tera by eternatus and it simply was unable to touch me

As of this video being out instead of it being technician on Weedle, it's now tinted lens which is way better in my opinion
I’m still struggling to defeat classic although I have caught over 50% of the Pokémon. It’s a lot of prep work to defeat Team Rocket and etc.

I didn’t even think as hard as you did I just grabbed dewpider and larvesta and caught my favorite bugs and I won probably because I got very lucky with the starter being grass

I beat classic mode with a Lokix as one of my main Pokémon. I also had a Palkia, but that's neither here nor there.
Lokix first impression spam is one of the most fun strategies in all of pokerogue (for those who don’t know, first impression resets at the beginning of every floor, meaning you can spam it indefinitely if you have leppa berries)

I am in the middle of a Mono-Bug run. It’s very fun, and I just got a shedinja. Once I get tera shards, shedinja will be broken.

Literally i just finish a pokerogue run in classic mode only with bugs , except for blibug, all of them cost 1 point caterpie, weedle, burmy, kriketot and tarontula.
I use the saves but i dont have any passives or a bunch of useful eggmoves. The funny thing is that the run is was G max butterfree sweeping 😂. With landorus signature attack from legends arceus, it was may only hope agaist eternatus. And beedrill was so useless, even wormadam was more useful, but i never had the chance of get beedrillite
Funny fact: the rival had TWO VOLCARONAS for some reason throw it pupitar and get two volcas xD

What are the rewards to clear a challenge Mode?
You get an achievement (which is currently just for accomplishment, though there are plans to make achievement points usable) as well as any first time clear rewards just like in classic mode.

Terastalizing, at least IMO, is still fine, and fully in spirit of a monotype run if you only terastalize into the type your run is of. So I think you should have grabbed it. That said, your run, your rules.

that "unique" elite four team is still only the second most "unique" compared to gen 3 Glacia and her 2 Sealeos, 2 Glalies and 1 Walrein XD

Yes, Bug was one of the easier mono types.
I do think it would make the most sense to do a gen restricted run next!
