The one amazing thing about Mega Kangaskhan that wasn't mentioned was their propensity for crits. If your mon is attacking twice, you are twice as likely to get a critical hit. This can make their damage output even scarier and make Fake Out output a dangerous level of damage.
wolfey your videos are elite. the editing, the visuals, the information and the comedy moments are all put together so well i share all of these information videos in my discord channel to my homies. you and your editor are making amazing content
Farigiraf is definitely my new favorite pokemon from Scarlet and Violet. It’s the ultimate “No” pokemon. Aside from armor tail and trickroom you can use imprison yes to deny your opponent speed control with trickroom themselves but you can run protect on Farigiraf to also deny your opponent protect and run psychic noise to negate a opponent from healing and just out right prevent the use of draining moves.
I’m so glad Farigiraf earned a spot on this list, I’ve been shilling them since the very beginning of SV. While everyone else was using Indeedee+Armarouge (ew) I was like “Nah, Farigiraf+Hariyama/Iron Hands is the way.” A properly built Farigiraf with a Mental Herb has no way of being stopped setting up Trick Room outside of Spore and it was especially great when Iron Hands became legal cause running Pinchurcin electric terrain solved that problem, actually winning a regional that series.
A lot of people make fun of Wolfey for his pronunciation of Pokémon names and while sometimes it makes sense, they’re normally pretty simple, at the end of the day they are fake words even if they’re made out of real ones so it’s not that big of a deal I’m more interested in why he reads “form” in the British spelling “forme” and why he pronounces the e in it
Official Pokémon materials have used "forme" for quite a few alternate forms, such as Shaymin's Land Forme and Sky Forme (even though the word "forme" only has one definition and it's related to materials used for printing). These days, they've used "form" more, such as for Terapagos' Terastal Form and Stellar Form.
Hey Wolfey! You're kinda the president of Pokemon VGC content, it'd be sweet to see a "State of the Meta" type video from you. That'd help players not feel as intimidated to start competing mid-season.
"Ursaluna doesn't have Belly Drum" -- it actually does! You just don't see it that often, since it's risky to set up and kinda overkill on something that's already that strong
Side note: I know this video was only talking about competitive doubles, but Snorlax at least earned his 2nd place slot even further when his role in generation 1 and 2 are taken into account, because that guy was a MONSTER in the original games!

@@onebear6504 Mega Quaza has better feats, which are the things that Wolfey uses to justify his top contenders usually
@@leonel392 agreed 👍
dragon most likely goes to Salamence
fighting… urshifu
Me waiting for the Best Steel Type Pokémon to see my boi Solgaleo on the top 3 (bro’s not even making it to the honorable mentions)
Keep up the hard work!
Nice to know Porygon is usable! I also hope you continue with this series, because I'd love to know the best Pokémon for Steel and Ghost.........and maybe poison. Been wanting to make an ailment based team for years now, but I'm not sure where to start on that...........but Porygon 2 would probably be on it.👀🤔
I need to see the audio tineline for this video. Editors went all out, the animations too , *chefs kiss*
Just wanted to say your editor is doing a PHENOMENAL job 💣 I can't imagine how much time they must have taken editing all of this!
shoop da woop... an image that has not crossed mine eyes in many a year... along with the twerking amogus, the editor is surely on a tear recently
For farigiraf: dps always keeps changing, support is forever constant
The one amazing thing about Mega Kangaskhan that wasn't mentioned was their propensity for crits. If your mon is attacking twice, you are twice as likely to get a critical hit. This can make their damage output even scarier and make Fake Out output a dangerous level of damage.
I'd love to see a poison type tier list, since it's been such an important support type across the years

Small correction. Adaptability increases stab by 33%, not 50%
No is 50%
@@dylhansime9582 Adaptability increases stab from 1.5x to 2x. That is a 33% difference
1.5 + 33% = 2~
wolfey your videos are elite. the editing, the visuals, the information and the comedy moments are all put together so well i share all of these information videos in my discord channel to my homies. you and your editor are making amazing content
0:20 Those words are always beautiful to hear, but the phrase at 0:23 is the icing on the cake. Magnificent
38:11 WOLFE AND KSI CROSSOVER????? never would have thought the day would come
Farigiraf is definitely my new favorite pokemon from Scarlet and Violet. It’s the ultimate “No” pokemon. Aside from armor tail and trickroom you can use imprison yes to deny your opponent speed control with trickroom themselves but you can run protect on Farigiraf to also deny your opponent protect and run psychic noise to negate a opponent from healing and just out right prevent the use of draining moves.
i can only see the clouds on ursiluna’s forehead as eyebrows
It better be Snorlax.
I'll just say this: If the Normal type can be immune to something Supernatural as Ghosts, then they Should've gotten a resistance to Fairy!
The editing on these videos are so good. Content has been great lately
I still remember my Evo boost doubles team and my Curse Snorlax for singles in Gen 7 ... it was a lot of fun.
8:56 KOTOR Pazaak sound effect detected
The name incineroar was first mentioned at 12:53 in the video about the best normal type pokemon
“oh cool, a quick Wolf video while i eat!”
One of these days with this series, Wolfey team gotta make a thumbnail where tera Incineroar is gloating at taking over the video of this typing! 💎😼
If I don't see diggersby I will cry 😭
"I have not watched the full video yet"
The nostalgia I felt when you added a sound effect from Pazaak at 8:55 is real.
Yeah, I thought I was the only one who noticed. Gave me instant flashbacks
A lot of people make fun of Wolfey for his pronunciation of Pokémon names and while sometimes it makes sense, they’re normally pretty simple, at the end of the day they are fake words even if they’re made out of real ones so it’s not that big of a deal
I’m more interested in why he reads “form” in the British spelling “forme” and why he pronounces the e in it
Why have e if not meant to be pronounced?
@@GravityIsFallingThe same reason "why" doesn't have the Wh part pronounced... I don't know
@@GravityIsFalling Because English is by far the worst language in the world
Official Pokémon materials have used "forme" for quite a few alternate forms, such as Shaymin's Land Forme and Sky Forme (even though the word "forme" only has one definition and it's related to materials used for printing). These days, they've used "form" more, such as for Terapagos' Terastal Form and Stellar Form.
@@GarfieldTheLightning okay? That wasn’t the main point of my question tho
E_killer on singles: ubers staple.
E_killer on doubles: does not exist.
Does exist, but it's Tera Normal Dragonite~
Snorlax was and is still incredibly versatile and I love him
Isn't it bottom tier these days? Could use a buff.
it's not, still doesn't learn Slack Off
0:21 RIP Smogon enjoyers
Thank you for these videos, the subtitles really help my Spanish
Side note: I know this video was only talking about competitive doubles, but Snorlax at least earned his 2nd place slot even further when his role in generation 1 and 2 are taken into account, because that guy was a MONSTER in the original games!
I am sorting my Pokémon cards and I am currently on normal type cards, this is some suspicious timing
