- Welcome to Hermitcraft Season 10 - Episode 24! I finished the interior of the train station and the station platform with detail and life. I'm getting very close to completing my base! Also, I start to gather Minecraft mobs for the mob shop and the zoo. I go after the scariest mob in Minecraft. I hope you enjoy the episode and see you in the next Hermitcraft episode!

I genuinely think Scar doesn't see how dark it is. The app most Hermits use is called Mini HUD, and I think he would really benefit from spending some time learning how to use it. I think I've seen it used on Tango and Xisuma's streams. Cub probably has it, as well.

A quartermaster is basically anyone who's job is to distribute and maintain shared supplies. While naval and military circles keep the term active, it is a quite common job despite the titles usage is rare
Petition to bring back calling those jobs quartermaster again

You can always make a map of a burning smoker and put it on the front of the smoker and hide the item frame.

I would name the parrot Gossip. I have a headcannon that all parrots in minecraft hang around in busy places just so they get all the latest news first. Then they repeat it later to all their bird buddies.

Comments are not content and I've watched and listened to plenty of songs/videos that talk about this topic because it isn't promoting doing it but instead talking about it and making people's feelings heard and felt.
Also I don't see why you should report someone for using that word. I suggest you go to therapy and work on fixing your trauma. Doing this will genuinely help you rather than getting angry at some person on youtube for using a specific word

They actually discussed this possibility on stream, the conclusion was that dragons are very high maintenance pets since they will slowly drift to 0,0 over time and you need to reposition it. Maybe he will get it and mess around with it for just one episode

Only problem is, every time it's unloaded and reloaded, that point is reset to a point a little closer to (0,0), so it will slowly drift away.
@@iveharzing Stupid question maybe but why can't you install a chunk loader to keep the area loaded?
Scar!!! If you hold a piece or armor or elytra and right click you can put it on instantly without having to go into your inventory. This might help in combative situations.
Edit: a suggestion for the flames (10:59): put an invisible item frame on the furnace with blaze powder in it

This is helping me cope so much. My dad passed away a year ago and being from the bay area and growing up with this exact environment- it has left the homesick feeling to become fondness. I miss home and I miss my dad, this now the easiest reason to call this Hermitcraft base a favorite this season ❤ never change and keep up the amazing work Scar

The perpetual furnace can be done with a map showing the furnace as if on fire. Beef made a map for xB last season for a regular furnace!
Scar you should fee ashamed not have a ramp entrance as well.
The mobs are coming from around your trees, there bases need lighting up; lichen or brown mushrooms put off minimal light.

You should probably switch which side the "Zoo" sign is on. For one, most people probably aren't gonna want to look at the base from the back of the train, but also, it makes in-universe sense because the passesngers are getting off at the front, so you'd want them to be able to see the sign

To have the smokers running all the time you'd simply need to fuel them all the time. Since they're smokers, they can only smelt food, but kelp is probably the perfect choice anyway. It's easy to farm in mass both by hand and automatically, and the dried kelp you're smelting can be crafted into dried kelp blocks, which provide more fuel than they consume, so you'll never need to fuel it with anything else. Making it fully automatic would probably be quite cluttered, but a few hoppers and manual loading of those you could have those smokers running for a long long while. One double chest of kelp would have the smoker running for 9.6 irl hours.

my friends and I were on a band trip and they insisted that they could tolerate it and they were so scared. They almost peed their pants.
That ride turned off all the lights with an alien running loose around the auditorium and you were strapped in and it was breathing on your neck and spitting water all over you and there was air being blown in your face. It was terrifying one of the best immersion rides Disney ever did… but they were too many scared kids so they had to stop doing it.

10:53 Maybe you could have an automatic kelp farm, where some kelp goes into the smoker to be smelted, and the rest of the kelp goes into a different smoker, and is auto-crafted into dried kelp blocks, which go back into the smoker, as a fuel.
That would indeed work but hiding the Redstone components would be tough

The train looked good before when it was on its own, because the smoke was blowing back giving it the illusion that it was pulling forward. But now it's wrong now that it's parked at the train station, because the smoke should be blowing up if it's stationary
10:55 possible way to make the furnace have "fire" forever: make an animated custom pumpkin (like the ticking clock except in the shape of a flames and sparks) and put it on an invisible armor stand right in front of the furnace

For those of you wondering, alien encounter was an attraction at magic kingdom where it was basically a little animatronic show where they are testing out teleportation tubes to transport aliens, they first test it on a little alien named Skippy but then he gets fried by the system. After that, they transport a big scary alien and it breaks free, crawling around the audiences seats and spraying acid on them, until it finally gets teleported back. This show was considered too intense and scary by many guests and was replaced with the Stitches great escape! show, which at this point in time has also been discontinued as an attraction.

Love this video (especially you loving Cub's launcher after the disastrous attempt at Grians lmao), but you talking about visiting Bdub's base before showing it felt a bit asynchronous. It took me a while to realize that the boxes were new in the clip, and you hadn't seen them before.

The billboard that says "Zoo" should face the passenger side of the platform since that is where people will be. The cargo side would mostly have only workers.
Edit: A great point was brought up to me that the sign is facing the way the train is coming to the station, so the train passengers can read the sign. In this context, it is facing the correct way and my suggestion is incorrect.

It's facing the direction the train is coming to the station from, so the people on the train can read it.

For the fireplace, maybe some sort of Kelp/bamboo farm below constantly feeding it.
For the smokers staying on, you could use armor stands with glass panes or use an item frame with a smoker painting with it on.

Something that gives Scar a unique charm when playing Minecraft that makes him especially entertaining to watch in others’ videos is how expressive he is with his character. For example, if he laughs he usually looks down at the ground and shakes his head. Or if he gets a fright he jumps back and drops the item he’s holding

I was so upset when they closed Alien Encounter in Tomorrow Land... the who show was amazing especially considering the when it was a working attraction. Everyone hated when the alien wend behind them but I loved it because they sprayed mist on your neck as the alien was breathing and running passed you... aaaah cool cool mist on a hot spring/fall day in Florida. I do wish there were more attractions like that, they were really something special and so much better than the newer "dynamic 3d" experiences... idk, 3d is cool but there really is something to be said about everything being practical effects, there was such an anchor of realism to it and that made the experience super cool.

For the villager in the kiosk a savannah fletcher would work well I think with the hat and the shirt
10:55 There wouldn't be an easy way to hide it, but you could link hoppers up to the fireplace, then use a redstone torch and a sculk sensor to only feed items in when something is moving nearby. It would need to be restocked periodically, but it should give the effect you want.
