Congrats on the wonderful run! I’m not sure as to the reason you were afraid of fighting types though- the Tinks being part-Fairy means you’re neutral to fighting attacks!
i'm putting it out there for the ones playing pokerogue and having hatched a mankey with no retreat, use it right now. It's the best pokemon in pokerogue for classic solos out of all of them becouse you get rage fist which is already broken even more so if you spam no retreat once you evolve and get the ghost typing, not to mention you have amazing offensive coverage with ghost and fighting and really good stats. This mon enabled me to sweep all pokerogue easily multiple times with no failure

The point cost limitation is so essential for this challenge, pokemon like Miraidon literally cost 9 because they're built to solo classic mode, Clangorous soul as an egg move multiple spread moves and it's one of the strongest pokemon ever made.
Insane. I played this a few days ago, first time. I got Multi-Lens, Linking Cord (for Alakazam), 2x Master Ball (in a single run), got 1 shiny Wormadam around 25-40 floor (I forgot), had 3 chosen starters all fully evolved by stage 7 (floor 61+) and another 3 caught wild pokemons also fully evolved, finally fought Ivy at Floor 95 (feeling proud at this moment because this was my first try at PokeRogue)... Of all the base starters you get when making a new account the one I've had the most luck with was fuecoco even though oshawatt is my favorite starter of all time
either zangoose or gligar. Zangoose has an amazing variety of egg moves, and gligar/gliscor has one of the best typings and can literally evolve immediately
@@borb43 parental bond was also one of the most broken things of all time, seeing as it sent a non legendary mono Normal type to Ubers in Smogon singles, and part of the most dominant team core in all of VGC in CHALK
Yeah, the furthest I got so far was the Normal Rayquaza in a Gen 5 Challenge run (no video or anything), and I died mostly because of poor management and the game’s RNG wasn’t giving me many Gen 5 pokemon, the last one was a Dweeble at stage 36, but I didn’t have any balls but I did get a Frillish later on, although it didn’t matter and at the time, none of my Gen 5 starters had anything special going on, so I had to do most of the run with a Facade Stoutland which I gave a Burn Orb which was both a blessing and a Curse.
