I'm on day 363 at the moment and nesring the end of the video. I've never seen this channel before but it's so wholesome and I'm definitely sticking around. The relationship between Poxial and Magnus was my favorite part, however I will certainly miss Panning with Poxial
I've rewatched this multiple times. And because of that, I also achieved Perfection for my SVE file, although I initially wanted to play it more "chill" and with no rush. But just watching Poxial achieving and doing things within 400 days just motivated me to do the same. Excited to see more videos from you Poxial!

It’s so interesting to see SDV expanded has Rafflesia! (Pronounced Ruh-flea-shuh). I’m currently doing a research project on it and it’s super cool! It’s a parasite that lives in host plans and is endemic to the Phillipines. It has only been successfully regrown outside of the Phillipines once, this is due to a factor likely in the bacterial composition of the soil/environment around it! In more recent news, there is a possible successful attempt currently occurring (there are flowering buds!) which is super exciting for the future of rafflesia. It’s an endangered species so identifying a method to reproduce it outside of its native habitat is important. It’s actually also not a plant, it’s a parasite of sorts. It’s a really interesting organism to study :D I hope someone learns something from this, I personally think it’s super cool and interesting! *edited to include some info from my mentor (who has spent her academic career studying rafflesia).
Actually it’s a weird little organism. It lives in plants and doesn’t harm them but does kind of “take them over”. It’s kind of hard to explain but because it’s not hurting the plant it is not considered to be parasitic (one benefits and the other is harmed)

Ya know.....there are a couple of extra places you can add to expanded. East Scarp adds a new area and a few npc's past the bridge to the east, my fave of which is the fluffy Persian kitty. And Ridgeside has a village on a mountain ridge above the valley, where Lewis's older sister lives and looks after. And expanded has another farm, not Gramp's farm that absolutely huge! (same place you grab grampa's farm download) I'm running this farm, along with expanded, east Scarp, Ridge side and the artisanal valley mod for many more crops. Gives me a break from vanilla stardew on switch.

I actually installed the better chests mod so that it's a lot easier to manage my inventory. It's such a great organizational system. Any item labelled Resource goes into the Resource chest. Any Forage items go into the Forage chest. It's very satisfying for my OCD brain.
I normally fall asleep to RUclips videos every night. I have watched this video more than once, and love it. However, I swear 4/7 days of the week i wake up the next morning on this video. I probably watched it hundreds of times at this point lol. The algorithm loves you.
Quick tip that saved me a lot of time for the Prismatic Jelly: take the elevator to level 5 repeatedly until you find the prismatic slime, this usually doesn’t take to long to spawn one! Good luck!😊
The rafflesia is a real flower, and it's cool that Stardew Valley Expanded adds it. The special thing about it is, lets just say it smells like Abigail's bathhouse locker
Seeing all these beautifully decorated farms is so inspiring for my own design. I went for functionality over design which I regret. I plan to redecorate at some point when I reach perfection which won’t be a long time but at least I will have everything available to me by then for more options.
For anyone curious, acquiring lucky rings is not difficult. Each panning shimmer has a preset luck threshold calculated for the day that you must exceed to pan a ring. This means if you used easily accessible items like ginger ale and magic rock candy and wait for a lucky day from Welwick, you can easily find a couple of them each day. Of course this is entirely luck dependent so sometimes you will find none as you cannot break the lucky ring threshold for the day and on others you can get several. Simply pan until 1:40am and restart if you don't find your ring and save the the magic rock candy for another lucky day as the threshold values do not change with save scumming, meaning that you must wait for a new, fresh day to get new and hopefully lower luck threshold values. The lucky hat on the other hand, I've played 1.5K hours of SDV and never have I found one and I happen to be a prolific fiber farmer in the mines. I guess it's called a lucky hat for a reason.

This is incredible! The narration is really good because it explains the mechanics well to people who haven't played the game but isn't too boring at all for people who do play.
Not sure if some might consider it cheating, but the movement speed mod is absolutely game changing, especially with the expanded + ridgeside mods since theres soooo much to explore. Highly recommend it for those who get tired of slowly walking everywhere :D
