The best/worst part about falling asleep to these long, peaceful videos, is that I never know where I left off so essentially I’m rewatching the video about 3 times before I get to the halfway point 🤣
I have found a solution for this. When I want to lie down I press Win + R and enter the command "shutdown -s -t XXXXX". I replace XXXXX with the number of seconds I want the PC to run. (For example, 2 hours is 7200 seconds). This way you can narrow down the time at which you fell asleep
I’m currently on my 3rd rewind watch of this because of a number of reasons. 1) you go through every day and don’t just lump like a week together for every segment. 2) Im actively learning more about Stardew Valley every time I go back. And 3) your voice is so calming to listen to I fall asleep so fast and I actually want to watch!!

I still shudder to think how much runtime would have bloated if Poxial had gone all in by adding the other popular expansions (Eastscarpe, Durin's Rest and Lunna).
When he does them all, people will start making new ones specifically because of how many views his videos will get. If you saw a 7 hour stardew valley video and knew nothing of the game. You'd watch just to see what the hell is happening
1:42:54 actually there’s a birthday mod where you can choose the day and season as long as it isn’t a festival day and the town will give you gifts including expansion people and if you miss anyone the will send it in the mail the next day
If it took this long to rewatch the entire series, I can only imagine how much time and work went into playing, editing, and putting the finishing touches on the final edition--much less editing the entire five segments together! The extra artisan valley stuff doesnt work with automate unless you download a separate mod, and rhe tractor does let you chop trees and stuff if you change the settings either in the config file or with the mod config menu mod. Loved watching this mega movie!

Tractor can do more based on what settings you adjust in the config. Can chop trees, water crops, break stones, ect. Most of these options are off by default as they are rather op, but there you go.(Can also adjust radius of the effect- use with caution as it might nuke your farm.)
i LOVE watching these type of videos. it just intimidates me so much as a newbie :') i have yet to make it through year 1 vanilla, let alone modded. i feel like i have no idea what i'm doing and i'm doing it all wrong. you seem to have it all planned out and you know exactly what to do 😭😭

This is the first video this long i have ever been able to watch in a full sitting. Your voice, relatable memmory, funny personality, and overall playthrough were the perfect niche to keep my aspergers adhd ass focussed and entertained.
So, one or two full viewings later and...ngl, my soul left my body when I saw you not make good use of the tractor mod. I recommend going into Options > configure mods > tractor mod to set it up and customize it as you like. Even in base form, it is CRAZY useful, Poxial!

You can summon it anywhere with the backspace key. You can also chop trees with it, but it's not on by default so you have to change it in the config file or with GMCM.

Honestly the dynamic reflections mod is amazingggg, I had studied for like 5 hrs in the morning and wanted a break so I played stardew valley, something about fishing in the night with the stars in the lake is just beautiful

Second comment to address the deepwoods: Config file. There is a damage multiplier option based on the level you reach. -Crank this down. Like, 1.000001 or something, I can't really remember how it's set up in the config. But basically, each new floor you descend increases the monster damage by x * floor number. Those ghosts don't naturally hit that hard, they are just godly right now because of the default config.- Correction, you can set the minimum spawn depth of buffed monsters. I suggest something outrageous like 500 or 900 or whatever, as the buff is just nutty broken. Also- gingerbread house you needed to axe, if I recall. There is a LOT more to the deepwoods too, such as a sword you can only pull if you meet specific conditions (which you certainly had, had you encountered it. It's the strongest in the game by a long shot) Edits: From what I recall, the mod dev acknowledges the broken state of the configs, and encourages tuning. From experience, tuning is definitely required.
I only got into this game very recently. Its crazy to see what awesome mods there are for this game. almost has me intrigued to reroll on those mods. they look like they spice the gameplay up quite a notch.

while I just recently started using mods, (so I don't think I'll be doing the mega modded list any time soon) you've inspired me to pick up an old hobby of mine and I think I'm going to start a 2nd modded playthrough, and make a video series to get back into video editing. admittedly while I won't be doing a mega modded playthrough, just a stardew expanded with a few extra mods, I feel the idea I have is almost the next logical choice to go bigger, without just adding even more mods now with me living in an apartment with fairly thin walls, initially I thought streaming and video making was going to be a no go until I can afford sound proofing, I've deleted the rant that I ended up on, but in short, I seem to be the only 1 following the quiet policy anyways, and if the person above me wants to complain they have 0 right to complain with how loud they've been for the last year, and this entire month has been hell thanks to the work they had done on their apartment caused my own apartment to get flooded which my landlord still hasn't done anything about (it's dry only thanks to measures I've personally taken)

I think vanilla stardew would be so much better in winter if we had at least some official crop winter seeds (not just the winter seeds currently in game) that we could buy from Pierre. Perhaps some snowdrop flowers or some winter carrots/turnips? It's such a shame having a full quarter of the year wasted in terms of crop profit.

while I just recently started using mods, (so I don't think I'll be doing the mega modded list any time soon)
you've inspired me to pick up an old hobby of mine and I think I'm going to start a 2nd modded playthrough, and make a video series to get back into video editing.
admittedly while I won't be doing a mega modded playthrough, just a stardew expanded with a few extra mods, I feel the idea I have is almost the next logical choice to go bigger, without just adding even more mods
now with me living in an apartment with fairly thin walls, initially I thought streaming and video making was going to be a no go until I can afford sound proofing, I've deleted the rant that I ended up on, but in short, I seem to be the only 1 following the quiet policy anyways, and if the person above me wants to complain they have 0 right to complain with how loud they've been for the last year, and this entire month has been hell thanks to the work they had done on their apartment caused my own apartment to get flooded which my landlord still hasn't done anything about (it's dry only thanks to measures I've personally taken)
i work from home and may I just say.... this is gonna be great content to watch for like a day or 2 hahahaha! 🤣

watched this as a straight shot all in one go while sick (very good thank you nice distraction i am in An Amount Of Pain), and i managed to... miss your entire courtship and marriage? like. i got distracted and was just half-listening at ALL the right times to not notice blairs entire existancce. only realized when i caught you going to bed somewhere around night 290-something and there was already someone in your bed. couldn't for the life of me figure out where she came from. big mindbend. i think i might be sicker than i thought

I think vanilla stardew would be so much better in winter if we had at least some official crop winter seeds (not just the winter seeds currently in game) that we could buy from Pierre. Perhaps some snowdrop flowers or some winter carrots/turnips? It's such a shame having a full quarter of the year wasted in terms of crop profit.
Been waiting for this, can't wait to fall asleep to this again and again.
