    Absolutly perfect for my laminating machine ruclips.net/user/postUgkx3hNjPfuybeIthQIWOFnkq-r2slRbyqre item arrived on time and in great condition. Very simple just slide the paper in between and insert into heated machine and it will come out without any wrinkles or bubbles. I love laminating pages for presentation purposes and it always makes it easier to pass around in a meeting. Also great for hole punching and putting in presentation binders too! These were a great value and although I thought about buying thicker these were perfect, not flimsy at all. I will buy again when I am out, and remember you can get in all sizes. This is an awesome product I can't live without!!

    Thank you so much for doing this, I have been wanting to get a Minc, but just simply can not afford it on SSI. Twenty dollars I can manage to afford and for the small amount of cards I make and the even smaller amount of foiling I do, this is perfect for me. I just put it in my cart and will be ordering it over the weekend. Thanks.

    why is it always toner printed? why cant i use inkjet printed?

    • @NancyStamps
      @NancyStamps  Год назад +1

      Because inkjet ink soaks into the paper and toner sits on top for the foil to stick to. It's science.

    This was great to find this since the great deal I got on a minc, recently, was a bust since it didn't end up working. Ugh.
    FYI- I think you *meant* millimeter and not milliliter (which is a measurement of volume) but actually the laminating sheets come in 3 and 5 mils. Mils is a measurement for plastic sheeting and is not short for millimeter. Mm is the abbreviation for millimeter.
    One mil is approximately 2.5 percent of a mm. So it is extremely thin, as you notice. Lol
    You would need over 13 sheets of 3 mil (or more than 6 pouches thick) to equal the thickness of just one millimeter ( which is already rather small since you need over 25 mm to equal an inch). :)

    I have a Scotch laminator that I got from Walmart yrs ago, and I couldnt get mine to work well at all for foiling. I let it run for about an hour. I had a couple of card fronts that came in one of the Simon Says Stamp of the month kit that is for foiling, maybe that was just to old I did have it for quit a while. so I just bought a new one from Amazon the Royal Sovereign it was about $25 just got it yesterday it seems to work ok, I havent had the time to play much it. Had I waited a little longer I would have just purchased this one that you was using Nancy.
    I also wanted to add that I bought some foil from H & H under your link, and I ordered some toner designs from Crafty Critta under your link too, and I saved both places in my favorites so I have quick access to them in the future. now since I saved them in my favorites when I purchase again will you still get some credit from it? I just want to make sure that when I do it helps you as well as me having fun.

    Thank you so much Nancy. I loved it. I'm new to foiling so I picked up a lot of tips from you. I would ask, what is the name of the "pastry cutter" you are using to cut foil,. Seems like a good tool to have? Very best wishes Jo xx

    So is the paper you can use the foil on something special or can it be anything that’s embossed or can you use just a regular stamp pad? Sorry for all the questions but I’ve never seen this before and it looks amazing

      I use Hamilco Smooth from my amazon shop. These are laser printed images. The foil sticks to the toner. It won't work on ink. Check out my foiling playlist.
