Have you tried foiling yet? Do you have a favourite colour? I just adore this shattered rainbow, I literally bought 10 packs this week so I will never run out :P
Justine Hovey yes I first tried it with just my laminator then bought a laser printer which I had a problem with it not wanting to work wirelessly then I bought a Go Press Machine I have since bought the foil and cut dies and a second metal shim but haven’t gotten around to trying out the new cut and foil dies yet ... too busy with Gel Press and sidekick and now the Aussie Cards and moving and life problems etc. my daughter had bought me nearly every go press foils ... so have plenty ...
I haven't done filling yet. I love the look..... I like the shattered foil one..... It's great that there are ways to foil without having a machine... Great video
I love all of what you did!! I cannot afford the machines to use the foil but now I know I can still foil using other means. Great ideas and cards!! ❤️❤️❤️
As I commented at JC’s video goes the same for you here. I am so happy to see one product used in several ways. The foiling has more options than I thought when I first saw thermowebs foils etc. that I would have to invest a lot in glues etc but not always the case. Thank you so much for the examples you used. My favorite is the stripes. So simple but stunning for a guy card! I look forward to any other products you may pick to show the possibilities using it. Awesome and so encouraging!
Foiling is a ton of fun and I'm glad you enjoyed the style of this video. I have plenty on my channel that use one product and show several ways to enjoy it. Thanks for leaving a such a thoughtful comment!
I'm really loving your collaboration series, Justine. I get so much inspiration from watching. Now all I need is time... I do have some foil but haven't used it much...yet.
you can use the bonding powder from Wow, it works with Versamark and so you can stamp whatever you want sprinkle it with bonding powder and foil, I think Ranger has a sticky powder too,not sureof the name though
I’m an ABSOLUTELY FOILING NUT!! I LOVE the Rainbow Shattered Glass & so many others! AWESOME & FABULOUS VIDEO!! YOUR CARDS ARE SIMPLY SMASHING!! Thanks for sharing these amazing tips! God Bless & the Love of Christ to you & yours!!
I watched a video how to foil stamps . You use heat embossing 1. Heat the stamped image/sentiment as you would normally 2. Reheat the embossing powder and add foil and rub it in with your fingers and peel off the foil
There is a way to foil your stamps. But that does require a laminator. 1. Simply stamp in versa mark. 2. Heat emboss in clear or white. Then laminate. Once it’s cool then peel the foil carrier sheet off and viola. Hope this helps you be able to foil your stamps.
Justine, I am really enjoying this series you are doing in collaboration with other crafters. Todays was an eye opener for me as I love the look of foil, but didn't think I'd be able to use it as I don't have a machine, but I do have some double sided tape, so maybe I can make some designs with it. Thank you for your time & consideration in making these videos.
Hi Justine 👋 thank you for taking the time to share your lovely foiling projects all so very pretty I to really loved the shattered Glass coloured foil it looked so stunning it would look so beautiful if you foiled a butterfly with it , have a good week 🦋 💞
Absolutly perfect for my laminating machine ruclips.net/user/postUgkx3hNjPfuybeIthQIWOFnkq-r2slRbyqre item arrived on time and in great condition. Very simple just slide the paper in between and insert into heated machine and it will come out without any wrinkles or bubbles. I love laminating pages for presentation purposes and it always makes it easier to pass around in a meeting. Also great for hole punching and putting in presentation binders too! These were a great value and although I thought about buying thicker these were perfect, not flimsy at all. I will buy again when I am out, and remember you can get in all sizes. This is an awesome product I can't live without!!
Nice video thanks I’m now wondering if you could use clarity stamps trap the scrap techniques modified for foil may have to try combining them go check out this includes using a plastic pocket when die cutting and flipping over so it’s easier to pick up. For foiling stamps you can buy toner stamp pads but they look messy to me and not sure they will not ruin the stamp think scan and cut I’ll also foil stamps
Thank you so much for sharing this. Can you tell me what toner sheets are please and what they are used for, other than foiling on? I'm on a pension and don't want to spend any more money than I have to. Would appreciate it if you could reply. Thanks so much. Loved the video and all the hints and tips and your finished foiling looked wonderful! Bev from Sydney Australia.
Not sure if there is another purpose for them. I have them linked in the supply list of you’re interested in purchasing them. They are simple cardstock with a layer of toner so they foil.
Using a Zig or Sakura glue pen works great if you want something like a sentiment or if, like me you have an electronic cutter - Put the pen in instead of the blade and off you go.
I had the store labelled version of the royal sovereign laminator (identical) and used as I had seen on someone else’s video with just paper sleeve to cover and protect the foiled items and it “ate” the paper! It clogged and jammed the machine or more than one occasion - don’t do it!! It needed a plastic sleeve which it obviously doesn’t come with as it’s meant for laminating. Just a word of warning ⚠️

Can u use the gel with stamps? To get nice foiling sentiments?
@@jpio577 That won't work as the paste will not stamp evenly and dry onto the stamps
You are BRILLIANT! I really learned a great deal from you. Thank you so much!
Jenny, do appreciate your sharing of your foiling. You and Jenny are awesome!!
Thanks so much!
Will the cricut foil iron on work 4 foiling without the hot glimmer machine?
I haven't done filling yet. I love the look..... I like the shattered foil one..... It's great that there are ways to foil without having a machine... Great video
Thank you :)
Thank you for the great video, really enjoy watching as I want to try foiling for my Christmas cards here hoping lol
Fab video Justine - that Rainbow Shattered Glass foil is awesome. Thanks for the collab - loved it!
Thanks for joining me! Your video was fab!
I think you finally sold me on a foiling machine. Your cards are stunning!
Lol do it! It’s such a fun and beautiful technique
Stamp your stamp and make a copy on a toner printer and foil! Works great!!!
I enjoyed both yours and Jenny's videos. My new mini Minc is going to be fun to play with.
I love all of what you did!! I cannot afford the machines to use the foil but now I know I can still foil using other means. Great ideas and cards!! ❤️❤️❤️

Love these cards! So happy and shiny! LOL!
Thanks so much!
If you use the adhesive stamp ink or embossing powder it might work on your stamps for foiling them😊
The shattered glass is beautiful!! Two cards in one also!!
I'm really loving your collaboration series, Justine. I get so much inspiration from watching. Now all I need is time... I do have some foil but haven't used it much...yet.
So happy to hear you are enjoying the series :) Schedule some you time to play :) It's therapy LOL
@@justinehovey I'd love to, except I also need to work to finance my hobby LOL

So u can use stamps and foiling? Just making sure....as i thought that would be a great way to use Stamps too ;-)

❤️ the rose method one ~ very interesting!

Gina K did a GREAT video on foiling with stamps; I was soooo impressed, particularly with the intricate feather stamp she used. :D
I’ll have to check that out

Great suggestions! Brutus Monroe now has an embossing powder you can use to foil with your stamps! Yay!Thank you for sharing!
These are wonderful ideas! We want to go try them right now! 😍

I absolutely love it too! I will have to foil a butterfly soon, it will be gorgeous! Great idea
Love all the fun ways you've shared to use our Deco Foil! Fantastic ideas as always Justine! ;-D
Thanks so much!

Love the ideas. I think the 2nd one you made is my favorite. It's so pretty, okay, well they're all pretty 🤗
God bless you Justine ❤ XOXO

Very helpful, thanks

Wow! Jan from Australia 🇦🇺
Beautiful foiling techniques! Thanks to Tanna for a referral to your channel!
Great Ideas!!! 💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you!
There is now a way to foil your stamps too now congratulations 👍
I tried it and I’m not a fan. definitely room for improvement
Thank you great info!
Great video, Justine! For foiling your stamps, have you tried the tacky embossing powder from WOW?
I'm tried sticky embossing powder from Ranger, gave it a bit of a vintage look
Love this. Can I ask what glue you’re using and where do you get the little bottle from please?
The liquid glue? It's Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. It's just standard white glue
love it
So you can you any kind of foil with adhesive? I have wanted to play a bit, but i can't afford even a laminator right now.
Well this foil and thermal foil will work. Not too sure what other fouls are out there right now.
Thank you so much for sharing this. Can you tell me what toner sheets are please and what they are used for, other than foiling on? Use Versamark to stamp sprinkled with Wow Bonding powder. Its like embossing powder but sticky. Great video and I love Jenny's channel. TFS!
I’ll have to try that and see!
No video, only audio.
I think there’s an issue on your end unfortunately.
What's a toner sheet? I tried Googling, but got a ton of results, but none of them made sense :-/
I have them linked in the video description. They are a sheet of toner ink so to say. So they foil nicely
Using a Zig or Sakura glue pen works great if you want something like a sentiment or if, like me you have an electronic cutter - Put the pen in instead of the blade and off you go.
Stunning cards 🌞 no I haven't tried folio yet. The rainbow colour you got looks amazing ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity xx
Thank you!
What kind of foil do you use without a laminater?
I have deco foil and Spellbinders foil. One is thermal, the other is not. And both work ok sticky surfaces.
❤️❤️❤️
🙂

Parchment paper is meant to be used and inserted with the fold going in. If you used the plastic laminating sheet, it would seal.
Great video Justine. I thoroughly enjoyed. Makes me want to foil again!!! TFS
I have all kinds of foil but have been afraid to try anything but I love the look. So here goes. Thank you.
