They already probably have. Not following the market & competition. Most of us on here don't want EV's but GM & Ford jumped on board with this EPA crap early on so that they could still have both. Dodge didn't & now all they have for 2024 is a minivan & way over priced Durango's & TRX's that nobody wants to buy for that price especially while interest rates are still jacked

My cousin has a 2022 392 with about 18k miles and the engine blew up in July of 2023. They spent months trying to find a reason to deny the engine warranty claim and took until February 2024 for them to finally concede and replace the engine. It’s crazy what dodge makes customers go through to get things fixed that are 100% covered under warranty
What was he driving all that time? If they were paying for a rental it'd take less time for them to decide.

Same. I own a 2022 widebody scatpack. At 12,000 miles the engine blew. Thankfully the swapped the motor in one month exactly
Same here...my motor blew on a 392 with low miles...I had to contact an attorney to get things resolved, and I have a lifetime time power train warranty.

I'm glad to hear this, I don't own a Mopar not that I have anything against them I'm just a Mustang guy and always have been since 1964 but if I was having the same problem with my Mustang I would appreciate people like you, even though I don't have a Mopar I consider myself part of the brotherhood of muscle cars, great work my friend.

Great job guys in helping this gentleman get his story out and forcing Stellantis to do the right thing. They are just digging themself into a deeper hole with these shenanigans. How arrogant is Stellantis to think that someone in their right mind would agree to a $30,000 repair of a new car and think everything would be perfect afterwards. Thank y'all and keep up the good work in getting these stories out, and confirming that the brotherhood (strength in numbers) is strong. No company ever wants bad public opinions.

Whats scaring me, is that there are more cars with this issue. Some are Chargers as well. Narrow or wide body. I wouldnt even know how this gets resolved, but it worry NHSTA will end up involved.
I was thinking the same thing. If there's one that rolled out of the plant like that there's probably more! Should be a safety recall for a time frame before & after that build date
At least that days, or run or shift or whatever interval that robot is checked on was all like this...its damn sure not one imho
It shouldn't take THAT much effort to have them do the right thing. This will only lose sales for them, because what they're showing is without a platform, you'll be bent over and screwed by Dodge. No way I'll touch them with a ten foot pole ever again.

My hope is that the "brotherhood" remembers every g-d thing Dodge had done over the last several years and spends their money elsewhere.
You and the other RUclipsrs should do some research on the current class action lawsuit there is against Chrysler/Dodge for defective door panels on mostly the 2015/2016/2017/2018 dodge chargers and challengers and also Chrysler 300. I am the lead plaintiff in Florida for that class action so my hands are somewhat tied. What I can say is that what Chrysler did with those cars is criminal! Thousands and thousands of defective door panels were installed on these cars all while Chrysler knew they were defective and had warping/ungluing issues. Each door panel is roughly $1000. On my charger hellcat all four door panels were coming unglued. the dealership opened a repair order and could not supply panels for six months. They breached my warranty. I gave up and traded my two hellcats and took a $20,000 plus loss. I just couldn’t handle the door locks not working properly/alarm system not working properly/and the car looking like shit on the inside. There are an estimated 30,000+ defective door panels on Challenger/chargers. Criminal! Please, get involved.

Here is why this is still a problem and a huge leadership problem at dodge. As someone who has been at the Director level for the better part of a decade. When you have issues like this where your customers have to shout this loud to get the attention of the CEO - who then provides a resolution - you have a huge disconnect in the chain of leadership and decision making. Imagine now - if we didn't have youtubers and other social media persons making the case and ensuring the message is heard/loud and clear - it would just get swept under the rug. Unfortunately this is the problem with many American/Western led companies - hard work, customer retention and doing the right thing is not even on the menu anymore in corporate America - it is NOT just dodge. Went through a hell of a time with my 23 F150 Platinum (which was a lemon). I will say from my experience Ford usually has taken some kind of action whenever I had a problem (at least when I contacted corporate) - CDJR dealers are an ABSOLUTE nightmare to deal with. CDJR dealers are the first to markup, the First to try and void a warranty or deny service - its really difficult to find a decent CDJR dealer it seems.

Yes, We are the brotherhood. And despite our differences, we all need to look out for each other. I don't necessarily think Dodge is fully responsible for this, but the stelantis crew. As long as you OC, along with Butter and the rest of the u-tubers keep doing what you're doing, and we keep watching, we'll be fine.

This story is ridiculous, guy unknowingly buys a defective product (that could take his life) and it’s his fault? Lawyer up and take these losers to the cleaners.

HUNTINGTON BEACH DODGE, CHAMPION DODGE ,CERRITOS DODGE .....these dudes are the worst! Cerritos , ran my credit x6 times when I was looking for my Hellcat they did it without my consent ! HB Dodge didnt want to custom order my Charger WBHC and they looked at my ethnicity and thought I was not serious about my purchase. I ended up purchasing my 392 and Hellcat with Scott Robinson Dodge in Torrance California had a good experience with them .
Good work and congratulations to the owner of that lemon. But is it worth publishing the serial number of the car in case there were more next to it that have the same defect?
I did publish the VIN of that car, and will keep up on this issue. Dodge still needs to ensure no other cars are affected.
I think they showed it on Challenger Talk; I wrote it down somewhere because I was looking at an RT and wanted to make sure the RT was nowhere that VIN ! (of course I can't find it now !)
Hey OC, You guys just keep doing what you are doing because what you’re doing is certainly getting some positive results. Rest assured that the manufacturer didn’t take this piece of Junk because they truly wanted to, The truth is they were Forced to do the right thing because people like You, Butter and TK forced them to take this defective piece of Junk back. Yay, I’m so happy this situation has finally been resolved. I am happy to you OC for helping get this issue out there and having Tim’s office decide to again, resolve the issue.
But seriously Dodge, to deny this paying customer TWICE, before Tim’s office resolves the issue brings up a huge problem. Tim must stop HIS work to try to resolve issues dealers themselves are causing, and screwing up the Dodge name.
There needs to be an example given from Tim himself to these shady dealers, and how greedy some dealers can get.
However, is it too late? Since there are rumours already swirling around that Stelantis is killing off Dodge, or at least keeping it around for the EV Charger’s last gasp before they wash their hands of this whole mess?
Don’t get me wrong, my dream Dodge’s are my father’s 1966 Hemi 426 Dodge Charger he owned as a police officer back in 1967 when I was born, and used that Charger as a pursuit car in Delaware County, Pa. And my second is the 2011 Challenger SRT8 392 Edition with the six soeed manual. Id love to try to have the funds for one, or even DRIVE one would be a dream.
My question is, if we the fans of Dodge do buy the used Challenger that we like, after Stelantis axes Dodge, how will we get parts or service for these Challengers and Chargers we love, without dealers trying to screw us just for us, the Brotherhood, loving the Dodge cars and trucks?
I guess we shall wait and see…

I wonder if dodge dealers and dodge corporate will ever have a culture change? How many times does Tim K or his executives have to directly get involved in these situations because thankfully all the RUclipsrs get involved and millions of people see how crappy dodge treats customers ? Every week there’s a new video from OC, TK and Butter exposing more bad behavior. You would think Tim K and his team are going scorched earth on these dealers and some of the lower level corporate executives refusing to help people. Is this a bigger RECALL issue???? I am the second owner of a 2021 widebody and it squeaks (especially on startup). I asked the original owner and the dealership told him not to worry. As second owner, I have no recourse. How do I know if my frame is bad???

I don't know when or why *doing the right thing* became unfashionable in America, but I'm happy to see that there are a few men out there who are willing to stand up for what is right. Thank you guys, for the sake of the people who you are helping to NOT get screwed by the people with no morals or scruples.
In the case of accident there is no way the impact would distribute across the chassis as expected without those welds. I feel like this is such a huge safety concern that nobody is really thinking about. These cars are tested and rated based on a specific build standard and if something this critical to the body integrity is compromised who know how dangerous the accident could otherwise become.
A great old saying " as a pebble rolls down a mountain it becomes an avalanche at the bottom", the purpose of "customer service" is keep that pebble from rolling to far, once it becomes a disaster butts get bitten. Upper management does not want the distraction from their regular duties (ie) put the fires out before it hits the C guys. 🚒🚒🚑

CDJ is in massive trouble right now. they overprice everything from the factory with thier 30%+ increases in MSRP, and the greedy shaddy dealers the added ADM stickers on all thier cars. Now their lots are full of obsolete massivly overpriced Trucks and cars, no one wants. Man, this crash is gonna be epic. Get your muscle while you can.

Took my five year old Mustang to a Ford dealer for “airbag warning light”. Was told I had to leave the car for 10+ days before they could get to it! They insisted that the car had to be left at the dealership - they “could not set up an appointment” - leave the car here and we’ll get to it when your turn comes!!!! Not good💰🤔
It's not like there is a shortage of these cars. I would think it would be easy to just replace the car. I would think that would be cheaper to do that than deal with the bad PR.
You would think right ? But no all they see are dollar signs and greed. Pass the buck and screw the customer. Dodge is the worst out of the big 3 .
Do they not inspect for anything anymore before going out of the factory? No final safety inspections or anything? Good grief!! 🤦♂️
Years ago the Manufacture would actually fix stuff without public outrage. However this is NOT the World we live in.
I spoke with McDonald when my Durango was delivered with the wrong wheels and the case manager refused to "make it right". I had a friend inside Jefferson North who escalated on my behalf and hooked me up with McDonald. The dealer wanted no part of this issue. In my case, McDonald still refused to make it right. But, he stayed on the phone with me for twenty minutes explaining how the dealership messed up the order and that it's on them. He also told me I could take the whole car back to the dealership and get my money back. But, it would take four months for me to special order a replacement Durango with the correct wheels and it was my choice whether to go that route. I settled for the wrong wheels and kept the Durango. Got nowhere with the dealership and haven't been back since.
As for McDonald, he was cordial and spoke to me about the future for Durango to the point where he asked me what I liked and didn't like about the design (not so much about my particular copy). We even spoke about how I would feel if the next Durango was body-on-frame. I told him "If only the Durango was 4 to 5 inches longer, that would be the ideal length. Evidently, a lot of folks felt the same way cuz the Grand Cherokee L is about four inches longer than the Durango.
My sister is having the same problem here in Kentucky with a 2024 dodge hornet not even thirty days old ,first home no lights , after that not starting, after that no radio, after that window shielded wiper and light and debris light on and go could imagine and we just taking back . People don’t want to give loaner car and when do doesn’t run help please thank Debbie Scott Henderson ky 66 year old first new car I bought

I’m American. I couldn’t serve in the military. But all the rest of my relatives have. I once had a challenger. Now it’s gone due to a storm and lazy Florida mechanics. I’m struggling to find work. Americans won’t act to help each other in a bigger way until they fully feel the totalitarian squeeze.
I bought a scat pack new. The dealer buff the car too hard, messing up the paint job and the decals on the car. I told Dodge that they messed up my decals and paint. Dodge stayed it was still a great car. Saying that Dodge would do nothing to help me.
Hopefully theses vids cause dealer ships to do better or re evaluate how they do things
Im a dodge guy through and through. Ive got a 99 300M low miles and an 06 T and C with 227K. But ill never let me repeat. Never buy a pentastar product so long as stellantis owns my preferred brand. In fact i bought my wife a subaru for her daily driver because chrysler corp puts out garbage anymore.
I like the new mustang 480 hp under 50k fully loaded . seen them getting 40 plus mpg on highway gotta get 1
No one can just do the right thing anymore and as far as the Dodge CEO TK .....with his bucks and resources he can buy 10 of these cars out right and it wouldn't even affect his bank account . He make the problem go away with out trying to put his spin on how great he and Stellantis is for just doing what should of been done without a fight in the first place
