3:00 you may want to take that shaker off and verify because that looks to me like a Hemi Orange engine block which means it's a 6.4. 5.7 blocks do not get painted Hemi Orange but rather black. And if it is in fact a 6.4 in basically a regular RT trim... That's going to be one rare duck.
So if they made a mistake badging the car, you dont think they could've easily made another mistake with the catalyst sticker, painting the engine block, equipping the car with a 345 badge, those hideous wheels, the front lip, the shaker etc. Blah blah blah. All these things that are being called mistakes, is just absolutely hilarious to me. If you know someone, and you want your vehicle to be SPECIFICSLLY badged, and SPECIFICALLY made with a certain engine, all you have to do is pay someone. Yall are acting like this car is a holy grail of some sort, getting all wild about it being a shaker, with an orange block, and a 345 badge with a certain motor. Most likely just some dipshit badging his car a certain way, wanting a specific color, motor, interior, and trim package. As well as wanting and having to pass emissions in his area. Yall better snap out of it.
I kinda like factory cosmetic mistakes… my recent model came with the front grill mis-molded where a chunk of plastic is just flat out missing from the grid. Though I’m sure they could replace this with a new piece under warranty, but I just can’t bring myself to do that because I think the small missing chunk adds to the cool factor.
On my Crown Vic Sport that I bought new in 04, the driver door chrome trim is weird...the part is wonky so it sticks out noticeably. I left it and it still has that. Along with a creak in the seat, that means thats MY car lol. I have a Super Stock too, with a weird molded door weather stripping that Ill leave as is too. I recently got into the Dodges...bought 4 brand new (more money than brains? lol) but I kind of wanted one of each thing...though Im missing a Shaker 5.7 lol
That's nothing way back in 1981. We went the local Mopar dealer. To buy mom a black 1981 Chrysler Cordoba LS. On the show floor was a Blue Dodge Ramcharger + Plymouth TrailDuster. It had a Plymouth emblem on the hood. But also the Rams Head right behind it. On the front fender it had the Ramcharger emblem. But on the rear tail gate it had the Plymouth Trailduster emblem. Me and dad had a ball. Giving the salesman crap about it. It did say Plymouth Trailduster on the window sticker.
Just an fyi , the Brampton plant does not install any of the shaker hood equipment. The car is shipped with just a hole in the hood to an outside contractor installs all shaker scoop and accessories . So this wasn’t done at the plant

This seems really high. I got my Smoke Show Gray 2022 Dodge Challenger 392 R/T Scat Pack with only 4,066 miles on it back in October, which was only 5 months ago for 51,K. It came with Red Calipers and a Sunroof. The inside came with Alcantara Ruby Red Seats and Red Doors, Heated and Vented Seats and Heated Steering Wheel, Memory Seats and Memory Steering Wheel, Unconnect with Navigation, Wi-Fi, Alpine speakers, also blind spot detection, and a some more goodies I can't think of at the moment. But this 5.7L 345 HEMI V8 cost the same as my car.. Hmmm 🤔 I'm glad I didn't wait on a 2023. Maybe the last call plaque cost 10K, haha. But that car does have a shaker hood and the adapted cruise control that keeps the car between lines, and it knows to stop if someone brake checks ya. I would trade for it to get my payments down. But I'm not paying the same car payment to lose out on over a 100 horse power. Guess I'm stuck with my Scat Pack that I love dearly. Smoke Show with Red Calipers and Red Seats makes my car absolutely beautiful.
@DriveAwayWithNate yeah its a beautiful color. All I need now is tinted windows to go with that color and maybe a black hood and black stripe to go over the back end.
I knew as soon as I saw the Shaker emblem, then the 345 badge. Probably the line worker saw it was a Shaker and automatically thought 392. Could have been on purpose as well. Might be more valuable because of it. Take bids and point 👉 it out to potential buyers! 😂
I had my normal Dodge salesman run the vin . It's sold and down the road. That cars going to be worth a lot if the dealership documented the error and put it in the owners packet.
I would never pay $52,000 for a 5.7 L when I paid 40,000 for my 392, in 2019. There is no comparison between the 5.7 and the 392 as I know I own both of the motors.
I had a 2014 shaker. It also had a mistake. The window sticker, the dealer website, even the Dosge website said it had a black gas cap. It was silver I liked the silver way better. But nobody could explain it.
What’s to explain , the line worker has 2 gas caps in his work station a black and a chrome. He put the chrome on it by mistake. There is your explanation
@@thefitnesslife4988 Doesn't mean it still couldn't be one mega screw up. At 3:00 that engine block looks Hemi Orange to me. Maybe I'm seeing things....
