Americans destroyed the beauty of boxing and y'all really don't understand what boxing is about and how's it should be "played" he was trained in the old scho east block/soviet/polish style boxing which Is based of fencer jabs, footwork (bouncing), counter attacks, long diverse combinations, fluid head movement to distract opponents rhythm in comparison today's boxing is leaning onto each other, looking for that one shot (best example is Deontay wilder) and moving like steam wagons, and having literally no advantages in movement only throwing punches like some drunk dudes at a bar.
With the amount of corruption in the sport, true boxing fans know that an undefeated record don't mean much.
Sad that not much time is remaining to watch loma's beautiful performance. He is my favorite boxer.

Loma has some of the most effective pressure I’ve ever seen. He’s like a fly that you can hear but can’t hit and it frustrates you. Even at 36 he’s still got the skills to go further.
I don't know if he is that much better because he was always that good , but I agree that I've seen the fire inside him which I've never seen before.

I think Floyd's footwork is much better. Floyd rarely gets hit. Even when Floyd stood in the pocket against Canelo, I don't recall Canelo landing even a single big shot in 12 rounds of boxing. Loma gets hit much more than Floyd.
@@user-sg8kq7ii3y Floyd’s defence is better, but lomachenko has much more fluid footwork, and in my opinion his offensive footwork is better than Floyd as he can change angles and hide his punches better than nearly any boxer in the world. Floyd’s defensive footwork is likely better but he doesn’t rely on it as much as loma does and more uses hand defences and head movement
Loma is very respectful to his opponents. You can see by not hitting them after Kambosos reacted to that body shot before totally scores the knockdown. Salute loma.

But we've all seen him beg refs to stop fights before he actually did lasting damage, etc, so it's also absolutely true about his character.
What else would anyone else do continue to hit their opponent? Loma did nothing out of the ordinary. If he would have continued it would have disturbed the refs count.

Teofimo clearly beat him. Salido beat him clearly on points. Haney fight should have been a draw or a Loma win, but he honestly, Loma was flat and inactive early on. Haney had a reach and size advantage over him that gave him trouble in the first 4-6 rounds. He didn’t turn it on until later and it Haney steals a round…3 losses, but the Haney loss is meh.

Lomachenko vs Davis
The way Loma darts in and out of range, feints, moves his head off center, turns his opponents, and punches from awkward angles catching them off guard is just magnificent…he doesn’t punch the hardest but his precision and volume make up for it. There were a handful of moments where George was caught looking for Loma and ate punches flush…literally dancing circles around him. Valiant effort by George but the disparity in skills were glaring.
As a boxing fan, I get caught sometimes just watching Loma’s peculiar movement. Unorthodox for sure! His style is Mona Lisa, a thing of beauty.
He’s a great fighter but I’m not disrespecting him but every elite fighter is going to look good against George. Even light punching Hainey cruised to two unanimous decisions
That’s a fair assessment in this case…but he isn’t responsible for picking his opponent for this championship bout. Regardless of who the IBF wanted to pair him up with, Loma is and has always been elite despite the “blemishes” on his record. If Tank doesn’t wait until he’s 40 we could finally see what’s what.

What Loma does fighting way above his weight class is by far the most impressive thing in boxing. Now you add in the age and he is just a master teaching classes against world champions.
