Do trainers purposely knock out their fighters to solidify the chin?
His time will come when don't know but it will come hahaha
His father and him are humble. They probably already have a routine prepared if this sort of things happen. Hence, the composure. Most boxers get rattled when this happens to them.

Inoue is really incredible. That knock down was probably the best thing that could have happened to him. Just a reminder that anything can happen at any time. He'll be just that much better next time.
Noticed after that early knockdown, Inoue is super smart and changed up his head movement by ducking underneath and keeping his right hand up after his left, love fighters who make adjustments on the fly.
Yes. Nery missed dozens of hooks after the knockdown. Inoue’s adjustment to start flexing at the waist and see those hooks coming was exceptional. Credit to Nery too, he was ready to go today and fought to win.
That said, Inoue’s composure and belief in his training and his ability almost makes the win more impressive than had he won without being knocked down. Easy to be confident when everything is going your way, but to keep that confidence when doubt has room to creep in or as Teddy Atlas says, doubt is like ninjas climbing over the walls of ur brain, like the end of “Scarface”. To fend off that doubt and remain focused under that duress is what separates the elite from everyone else.
Thats the difference between champions and the rest, the major and minor adjustments during the fights. Everybody seem to be slick, fast, powerful, and tough but the one who adapts to impose their technique throughout the fight gets the win

he fights almost like in between bivol and canelo.
Bivol doesn't have phenomenal footwork 😂😂 y'all be saying anything
He definitely does. Wtf you on?@@dq_317
@@dq_317 Bivol has the best footwork in boxing right now, you're just a casual
this is easily the FIGHT OF THE YEAR SO FAR IN 2024!!!! wow naoya inoue is special! and now he is battle tested
Inoue's skill lies in the fact that he flew away from Neri's push rather than falling.
Hard to say who was most shocked when Inoue went down : Inoue himself, the 55,000 crowd or the Boxing World !
And just like his first fight with Donaire, he showed his Class, his resilience & determination & his adaptability.
And showed Nery why he IS "the Monster".
Inoue is a beast but If tank hit him with that clean shot he’s going to sleep
@@pedrodavalos3129Stop spamming the same comment lmao. First of all, they are of different weights (Tank would've been put to sleep against Garcia with his normal weight), secondly, Tank has been fighting bums and even when he decide to fight someone real, he always put some "special" clauses on em 😂
I was stunned bro, when it happened! I was on the edge of my seat the entire fight after that!
@@pedrodavalos3129 Tank is naturally a lot larger/heavier... so it's really not something impressive. I don't think Inoue will ever fight above 130. He might even stop at 126.
@@pedrodavalos3129 👏 Dude yours genius, maybe this fight should happen now? 😂 forget about weight class, they both hit hard so they should fight each other.
It's not how you start its how you finish the fight inoue put that onslaught on em😤🔥
This fight had everything for me.
The early dramatic knockdown.
The comeback.
The end of rd 5 when Nery gets up from the canvas and throws down with Inoue till the bell.
And then of course the dramatic finish.
inoue is must watch boxing fellas. He is making boxing great again.
Soon to be discussed as the pound for pound GOAT.
Huge respect to Nery for going toe to toe even after going down. 💪💪💪
Inoue is amazing. Power, speed, intellect, discipline, and as revealed in this fight, heart. A truly complete fighter.
😊
Well said.
Fight to casimero!
The Yamanaka fights, the Mike Tyson upset, the arena with 55,000 people.
All these things made Inoue more emotional going into the fight and contributed to all the pressure he was under.
So when he was knocked down, he used the countdown to take in what had just happened.
He clearly wasn't too hurt from it, but it was more so a combination of surprise and the pressure.
He was expected to make short work of Nery in a couple rounds, but in those few seconds after the knockdown, he realized it won't be as easy as he and all the people behind him think.
Not to mention, his brother was also knocked down in the first round and won. Not only that, he made the same mistake of leaving his right hand down during combinations. That may have also crossed his mind.
After that, he stayed focused and annhilated Nery.
Hopefully, this serves as a reminder that being knocked down or having losses doesn’t define a fighter's career.
I told people Nery was tough,he dropped the Monster hard but then he woke up the monster, big mistake
I had no idea Nery was that good. And he showed big heart. Made me a fan. Unfortunately for him, he was up against a true Monster, who happens to be the best boxer in the world.
@@rda4577nery is strong look how many knockouts he has.
Nary is okay he has no punching power someone with a punching power will drop him for example bam Rodriguez but he moved up.
@@chinoantrax1736 nery has punching power , it's the reason why he has many kos
I'm a typical casual boxing fan who never heard of Inoue until about 3 am last night due to a bout of insomnia and watched his highlights only to discover that this fight was debuting in a few hours after that and man what a fight, the power he generated from such a short punch is freaking incredible!
Not until he fights Casimero.
Welcome to history in the making ..keep watching brother
Casimiro your ass. He's just an asshole. He doesnt deserve a fight yet for inuoe.@@flame1ce
You were led down that road, not by your own free will, but by the algorithm.
