It was amazing growing up in the '80s how one unforgettable, iconic song after another would hit the radio year after year. Many of them were part of movie soundtracks. But they all felt like they refreshed, renewed and reinvigorated your life with new, positive energy and excitement. And, today, as an adult, they bring back wonderful memories of more peaceful, easier, happier times.
Well said! Music had so much more depth and uplifting energy to it back in those days! Nobody did soundtracks better than the '80s! Frankly, the music was probably just as memorable as the movies themselves.
Soundtracks were incredible back in 80s and 90s. Whenever you hear the song you remember the movie and every other memories. Those are the day when people really made effort and put on real work.

Since I was a child I loved The Jewel of the Nile and specially this ending song so I can't be more delighted to discover that DeVito, Turner and Douglas are doing the chorus!!. Their amussement is so contagious.... Everything in this song and performance takes me to the naives 80-90s. Can we bring all this back?
