The guitar/bass line of this track is unique and infectious. I'm shocked no one has sampled it yet.
great point, this track bangs.
Chris, Brah. U know I luv yah, but Brah this is the song that Dub Step was born from. See 2:47- 3:06. Skrillex used this sample and so did those Ylvis guys.
@@Brokenneckj ahhhh missed it cuz I'm not a Dubstep fan. Thanks for the reply just the same
Yah great bassline and guitar riff !
All the Star Wars vibes!
I'm in love with this song
One of the best - if not THE best - intros of all time
80s .. And Billy Ocean ... One of a Kind Smooth Voice... Awesome Range ... Dude could Sing ... 😌😌
My favorite Billy Ocean tune Caribbean Queen my 2nd. Darn their all good ☺
Man, that sound.... I've always loved his voice.
Just puts me in a good mood, lol
Isn't it the best
Great 😍😍😍
I agree. My favorite song of Billy ocean
this song was & still is amazing, re-releasing it now will be totaly liked by todays generations & most probably be a hit, with the original video i mean too.
1984 ,one of the best years of all times
Well...funny thing..we're actually living it right now!
Most definitely ❤️
pretty sure this ranked on the top songs of 1985, as the way the calendar is read in billboard magazine. It ranked higher than Duran Duran (wild boys and View to a kill) and was considered a crossover (on multiple record charts). What we don't understand is, why does anyone not consider this track. Underrated is not enough to describe this track and amazing video.
@@Brokenneckj young people always think its 'underrated' but it was huge when it was new
the immortal loverboy, billy ocean! thank you billy!
Billy Ocean was so good. A wonderful memory in the late '80s
This was mid 80's, not late 80's lol
My poor walkman....drained my batteries with this one!!!!100%
Should have called them danceman’s....
I'm Greek and love this song too. Long live Billy Ocean and Hellas.
Yup my many walkmans are now dust too when the 80s came new tech like them was unrivaled but as they say new frontiers came and RUclips became the video star my most favorite Walkman was the Sony brand but batteries was always are up fast I wonder just how many walkmans and batteries are inbedded in landfill waste today
I remember those days, the '80s and Walkman devices - those good years are gone!
80s music ROCKS!!! ❤❤❤
Anyone else here like me ever try to watch some of these obscure shows in the 80s that would play some of these music videos because your parents didn’t want to get cable no matter how much you tried to tell them I want my MTV???!!!! Eventually my parents did get cable, but it seemed like we were the last people in our neighborhood to get it. I’d go over to some other friends houses to watch it, come back to my house and feel like we were really behind the times. Now I get it that my Dad was hesitating getting it, he didn’t want one more bill to have to worry about paying on time!!!
Was it 1985? I still remember hearing it on the radio like it was yesterday.😊
EVERYBODIES LISTENING, WELL ANYBODY WITH TASTE . GO BILLY !!!!
Instantly go back to my childhood 80s God I love that era
Me too. I was 9 lol
Likewise
