Roger Stephen Roth good a reggae too!!
@Keaton Castillo I think some in the industry were jealous that Eddie Murphy is a multi talented genius and ripped on him for not being a musician even though he was a successful movie star and comedian. While it is true he did not specialize in music, he actually made a great song. This song now was the headline for one of rockstar games video games. So it seems Eddie may have had the last laugh in leaving this awesome song.
@Keaton Castillo There are some celebrities who are actually multi talented. Will Smith is another one who actually did a great job with music, movie, comedy.
TECHENALLY, Eddie Murphy Chose to only sing this song.. Then focus on Comedy.
Also, He is very Talented, Talent is not just set to a single standard come on people use that Brain of yours.
Rick James and Eddie Murphy… this song is golden⚡️⚡️
Or white with all the cocaine on the set!
I changed the words to the chorus sing to my dog .
My dog likes to potty all the time .
Such a banger ❤
YOU CANNOT COMPETE WITH MUSIC FROM THE 80S
Surely you jest. 80's was good but some was so 80's it was MTV cringy. 70's to early 80's was the sweet spot.
Amen
90s just laughs quietly
2000s can tbh
That ain't no lie ! The 80s was the best !
Whoever selected this song for gta casino needs a raise.
g C facts
Mhm
Probably the same guy who selected this song to be on the GTA V official soundtrack back in 2013.
g C my 14 yr old has been heard singing this at the top of his lungs in the shower!
hell yah with out question
Love this song. Eddie is great here as always, and Rick was too
Is it me or does the 80’s make the kind of music you would listen to when you’re speeding in the highway.
Just listening to the beat makes you wanna drift. Probably not in real life, but still.
Or for waking up in the morning. Bring in the charm!
I swear
Hey me and my brother would listen to this song on the radio in my dad's van whenever we went to visit ours cousins in Ottawa Ontario it was the perfect road trip song travelling on the highway.
True!! 🤗
Rick James was a genius! That beat is sick and Eddie was flawless!
Only when you do some serious coke...... hahahah !!! This song is crazy as a mf. hahahah !!!
OMG...Good fun, dance music -back in the day!☺😘

Yes Rashan!

Just found out Eddie Murphy turned down "We are the World" song to make this song. Lol 🤣. The comedian legend is reborn!
10/10 solid choice 🎉🎊🍾
Imagine being that ON FIRE that you could be the biggest star on SNL and also sing on a track that goes from passe to kitsch to universally beloved. Eddie is a once in a lifetime talent
And he let's u comment on his videos. I listened to songs and cry a bit when I see I can't comment under a video. I wanna hear how ppl feel and sometimes find some other dank songs that were recommended by strangers
He can do everything but hide picking up a transvestite
Donald Glover maybe.
If you aint playing this at my funeral i aint coming 😤😤
I’ll be there or Die trying !!!
Will there be liquor?

Eddie Murphy singing I'm impressed multiple talented man
Jose Revero you ought to get a load of his stuff before he became the clean cut version of himself we see today. Check out his comedy show called Delirious and/or Raw. He was in his PRIME!
Eddie Murphy in the 80's was INSANE.

Rip Rick James and Charlie Murphy.
This was filmed in Ricks basement at his home in Buffalo.

@@rbeck3200tb40 LoL yeah this dude is drawing so much unnecessary attention in this video SMH
I’m glad a new generation can appreciate this song. Been listening to this shit since it debuted
Defcon Love gotta second that one. There have been several House Dj’s that have sampled this in remix’s.. ahh the good old daze
Because of GTA and Synthwave these old songs are gaining popularity fast... again lol
It’s not a good song. It’s hilariously bad
jjman9 you’ve obviously never done cocaine in Miami. This song is legendary
@Defcon Love touche'. But cocaine in Miami? 1985 called...
Still one of my fav. 80’s songs. I had to play this song for my daughter, who refuses to go to bed @9pm. Remind you a 7 year old. 😂
Good one 💯🤣
She wants no sleep. She wants to PARTY ALL THE TIME
I was the same. Watched Conair, had some hot chocolate and slept. Always had an obsession with that film everytime it came on. It had a lot of death and such yet it never bothered me. But yeah, sleep is sometimes difficult to jump into sometimes.
I gotta say, I didn’t think arsenio hall could sing, but he can!
Rockstar uses the best soundtracks for the theme of their games.
And that’s THE TRUTH
Yeah
Since Vice City you mean? In GTA 1, 2, 3 there was only royalty free music
My top songs in every main GTA since VC
1. Iron Maiden - 2 Minutes to Midnight (Vice City)
2. Ice Cube - It Was a Good Day (San Andreas)
3. Glukoza - Schweine (IV)
4. N.W.A. - Gangsta Gangsta

Yes! You gotta love those Reagan years.
He put his whole mustache in this album this is really one of the best songs I’ve ever heard in my life. And it came out 20 years before I was born
80s is the pinnacle of emotions and pure energy in music, 90s kept some of that energy but it faded out very quickly.
You haven't lived that long. This song was the butt of many jokes in the 1980s. I think you younger people love this because it was on GTA.

Let’s just face it: Eddie Murphy was the real king of the 80’s.
Michael Jackson*
@@Enzo-tg8uo nope
@@Enzo-tg8uo depending on which talents you're talking about either one could be the king of the 80s but then again there were so many great ones in the 80s

Why are people clowning on this song? This song is objectively good.
Because it’s from the 80s and folks can’t grip that

People don’t take Eddie serious as he’s a comedian trying to make music.
Because it's made by Eddie Murphy who's not known for his singing
"Dad what is cocaine like?"

More like 2:26 but yes indeed and then the face rick makes before he goes in there with eddie

This is a GenX anthem. Most all of us remember where we were during this era. The late 80’s wouldn’t be the same without Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, etc.
After this came Guns n Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 2 live Crew, NWA etc., and everything changed. In this video, you’re watching the last of the true 80’s look and vibe, as well as the innocence of the 80’s and prior decades.
I wish i could live through the 70s and 80s

you would not survive a day and that's being nice

It was indeed pretty cool but it seemed like people worried a lot more. You have to remember we thought there was going to be a nuclear war. I went to college in the 90's and let me tell you I think the 90's was the real shiz-net.
