@@Cablesmith Wiring in a summer house, is there any risk of fire? I'm asking cause I'll be moving my PC into a summer house and the electricals will be done DIY, so I don't want my stuff to burn cause of an electrical fire

@@morninglobbyenjoyer I suppose there’s always a small risk of an electrical fire, but no more than anywhere else. Everything is protected by RCD’s, tested etc. shouldn’t have any issues

@@Cablesmith Ok great thanks. Just was worrying wood would make it more susceptible to fires but I'll get it checked by an electrician anyway.

@@morninglobbyenjoyer I mean if there was a fire, obviously it would be much worse. But an electrical fault causing the fire isn’t any more likely than anywhere in your house really.

Me personally yea I’d have 4 but that’s what they wanted in this case.

@@paul1962uk not that I can remember. I have had some blow out on a really old garage. You just seem to hit the rebar sometimes, just end up going in on a steep angle to avoid coming close to going right through.

Never knew that, I’ll mention it to customers next time. Out of curiosity tho, what would typically be a warranty claim on one of these?

The panel probably just needs resetting in engineer mode most likely.

@@MithileshMuraven off the top of my head I’m not sure, but turn the key to enter engineer mode and try the green reset button. Failing that look through the engineer menu

Also, make sure the detectors are clean and dust free as that’s often a cause

Ahhh there’s a reason for that, multiple reasons. Let me explain. We wouldn’t want to be held accountable for “showing” someone how to do things, if/when things go wrong. Then, all installs are different, the length of the supply etc all determine what’s needed, and there will be multiple ways to supply a summer house, and only seeing the job in question could we determine which way is best suited.

No, they should be fine. I’ve been back to make adjustments and add extra sockets to one recently that I installed over 2 years ago, no signs of water anywhere.
