I really don't get the point of the Shelly relays and Quinetic in this install. I have both in my house but never on the same circuits. You can get a button for the Shelly for manual override. I run Home Assistant too.
@@Cablesmith kind of makes sense, but with home assistant he could use any switch he liked with the Shelly. Expensive way of making your switches match.

People really need to look at the shelly stuff more. Its SO SO much cheaper than Eww Sorry Hue. Can work without being connected to the internet or some 3rd party server. No need for a hub and hackable if thats your thing.
yea so the Quinetic is switched with a wall switch wirelessly, which is then switching with the Shelly relay, kind of like 2 way from the wall switch and your phone. Them receivers in particular also have wifi but not used on this one

Honestly I got a skip to clear some gear out, the other “tenants” were like a bloody swarm of flies attracted to it like a light bulb.

Yea the Quinetic was just for a physical wall switch, that looks exactly the same as the other switches in the house.
