KUBOTA Excavator - NO START After Going To The Dealer For Repairs!!
Welcome back to another video! Today we don’t have a #forklift but we have an excavator! This Kubota excavator was taken to the dealer for hydraulic repairs and a week later, the customer got a call saying “Your excavator doesn’t start anymore, it needs new injectors”. The dealer replaced the injectors and that didn’t work. After a month at the dealer and no solutions, the customer decided to pick up their machine and have us take a look at it and see if we can figure out what happened to it. As you will see in the video, we found the issue and we got it started. LEAVE A COMMENT with your opinion on what actually happened. Thank you all for the continued support!

Don't you have to tighten them in sequence? Or is going around okay?
@@mrmusic1880 I’ve always done it going around. I’ve never had a problem. Maybe you do have to do it in sequence, I’m not sure. That’s how my father taught me.
Good job the wheel leaning up the forks slide it under the truck or block the side aswell ive know them tilt cyls creep back 👍👍🏴🦊
@@ColinAtkins-j3h good point! Thank you sir.
Hi, great video! I just replaced the same board and I'm able to move the pallet jack up & down, but not forward or backwards. I'm also missing the red stop button. Do you think that may be the cause?
@@pungboy most likely, yes.
@@theforkliftguy Thank you. I'll look into a replacement part.
@@pungboy does it throw any codes?

It works with komatsu forklift?
I’m not sure. Never had to use it with Komatsu.
You are 💯 correct about the fuel system on those psi engines. I’m not a big fan of those psi engines

Hai Please advise me What will do code 2X showing
That would be nice to have a ledge to work off of! I work for Walmart as a maintenance technician and I’ve had some load wheel axles come out and go in easily but on the other hand I’ve had some that were absolute bears to get out and even after dressing the yokes and installing new axles, they did not want to go in easily then you end up disfiguring the end of the axle from all the pounding on it. It sucks. I’m thinking on getting the Steeldon Tools EPJ axle press to make those tough ones go better.
@@hermancm I agree, it’s always a battle with these axles. I often times keep a torch on me so I can heat up the axle and the damaged bearings so I don’t destroy the axle. Helps a lot. Let me know if you end up buying that tool, I’d be interested to see how it works.
@ I will! If I can take the pallet jack’s outside, meaning if the weather allows it where I’m at in the often cold and snowy NW Wisconsin area then I could easily use a torch for heat but otherwise we are supposed to get a hot work permit and it’s such a PITA with the fire watch and all, we try to avoid it. Heat guns can be used without a permit but they don’t heat iron hot enough to make much of a difference. I’ll keep in touch and look for your new videos. 😃👍
Hello I need help with my crown pallet jack wp3000
Are you an independent tech brother
@@heathstow304 yes sir.
@ I’ve been thinking about doing that for a while now I’ve already talked to my customers and they said if I did they would definitely call on me .
@@heathstow304 as much as I would encourage you to do that, these customers are your employer’s customers. You can’t start a business with the hopes that these customers would call you instead. If they do, they are most likely looking for a discounted price. Idk what your current employer charges, or if it’s a dealer or a private company, but that’s something to consider. I always tell people to start gathering their own clientele on the side until they have enough work to go out on their own. Never burn bridges by stealing customers. Let them come to you.

Hello, wondering if you can provide any guidance on troubleshooting a similar raymond order picker that will lift and steer but wont move forward or back? As far as I can tell I don't see any codes popping up on the screen. I do have a sister truck to test with if needed, but I am not a forklift tech....just trying to help out my family. I do have access to multimeter and power probes, etc. Thanks so much!
@@DmitryM.-nr1ni if no codes are popping up, there must be something mechanical. You’ll have to check the drive motor, drive encoder, potentiometers.

How can I change the speed on the 8210
love your content man, its awesome... i need your assistance however..... i got a 2011 cat gc55k that kinda has never ran that great for the year ive owned it. its the lovely vortec v6 and i have yet to see one that runs great. i have another 10k cat same engine, runs better than this 2011 but it has its hiccups. anyways, now it doesnt run at all, it cranks good, i intially thought it was a fuel issue, tried brake clean and it didnt even try, i also before that, wiggled the wires on that fuel pressure switch back towards the RH hand side of the engine and i did get it to run and it ran good for a couple weeks, but yeah im down to it not running at all and would love your insight, i was going to go deeper in it but would love to hear from you first.... thanks.
@@samuelw.3992 those Vortec V6’s are a PITA for sure! If it doesn’t run off starting fluid, your problem is most likely spark related. Or the engine is flooding with too much fuel. Those V6’s are very sensitive to air fuel mixture, as well as very shitty spark. A tune up will help a lot (if it hasn’t been done in a while)
Next time at the Toyota dealership say hi to Gary, worked with him at Brodie.
@@joepacheco4038 he’s retired now unfortunately 😭. I miss him
@theforkliftguy TKS saw him in your video, can remember going into shop early mornings and talking to him. He'd be on computer checking out house's in Florida. Great parts guy missed him when he left. Stay safe.

cool channel, nice truck setup, subscribed.
Thank you for this video
My pleasure
Really great video. Id definitely watch the full run down of all your tools!
Do you have any videos of why horn on a wp2300 won’t work?
I do not, but it’s most likely due to a pinched wire in the tiller handle. The metal part. Take it apart and you’ll find a pinched wire
Good work
Great job! What battery gun are you using?
@@paullyons4624 snap on 1/2 impact.
If you can pump up the pedal and it holds , wouldn't that be a brake adjustment needed?
@@joepacheco4038 potentially, yes. Once you pump it up, does it hold the whole time? Or does it go back down to the floor? In that case, the master cylinder or wheel cylinders are bad. Wheel cylinders could be leaking internally.
@@theforkliftguy going to let you think about w/cylinder internal leaking. Not trying to bust em , have more years as field mechanic , plus shop foreman for Cat then I can remember lol seen just everything with lift trucks . Started with Towmotor and ended with Toyota 1965 - 2016. Have a lot of knowledge to pass on if I can remember lol be careful stay safe

Question for you.... I have a similar forklift. It has a Y4 engine and I need to install a block heater for the winter. Can you show how to winterize one for these units?
My first service truck was an S-10 with a side opening on both sides plus rear door. Tool box in rear, parts and oil side access. Tool bag on front seat lol. Did have air compressor on eng a/c style compressor with elec clutch piped to small tank under truck. Tight but worked for start up business. Later moved into Astro Van, mounted tool box at passenger seat location. 18 years own business. Went back to Cat then Toyota. Gd luck
Wouldn't it have been better to purchase and install a reman ? Just the knowing if eng rebuild fails the rebuilder is responsible . Most reputable rebuilders have a labor clause to cover your labor. Should be able to R&R eng 2days. Just my experience.
@@joepacheco4038 all depends on the customers wants and needs. Every situation is different. I would agree, installing a Reman is always easier.
@@theforkliftguy your the mechanic and " you " know what they need, I understand what your saying, but let something go wrong with it and they become defensive with you. Nice to be friendly with customers but they need to trust your input on how and what needs to be done. All in all enjoy the video's
@ make sure nothing goes wrong and have customers who trust you lol not that difficult lol if you can rebuild and they aren’t pressed for time, do it. If you suggest a reman and they approve it, do it. Like I said, all comes down to what the customer wants and is willing to pay.
Many years as field mech, tip never lube roller style mast rails. Cause rollers to slide rather than roll as it was intended to do. Second attracts dirt to destroy rollers. Grease was used on earlier slide style mast. Use slide lube on shim wear strips
@@joepacheco4038 you’re 100% correct. 👍
I know it’s unrelated to your video but what hydraulic oil should a guy use in a H90 fortis. I think it’s an 07 year model. Is Napa aw46 ok in it? Also curious What fluid they run in the trans as well
Awesome work!! 👍👍
No your doing it wrong. That is a computer controled engine. The way you are adjusting the fuel idle screw it will set a light. Back prob the O2. Millivolts on the multimeter. Watch for a cycle below 0.3 volts and above 0.8 volts. Back prob the infector at the same time with meter that can read millisecond and that should be at 6.5.
@@ladypurple6919 good to know 👍🏼 thanks
Thank you for the video it helps save small businesses money.
Nice work brother!
🙏🏻🙏🏻💯
This is the reason that for me nothing goes to the dealer unless its under warranty or takes a special computer that no one has. My experience is that dealers overcharge for crappy work and you have to double check what they've done.
