Started my working life as an apprentice maintenance Eng but moved to IT. Been thinking about moving back into the engineering space and the field service tech roles are really appealing. Really enjoying your vids, great energy, thank you for creating.
Hey Elmer you don't know me but I committed on one of your videos , knew the parts guy at Toyota. Well talked to Gary a couple of days ago, haven't spoken since he left Mass Toyota dealership. He had nothing to say but good things about you. Just thought I'd let you know
@@joepacheco4038 hey Joe! Thank you for sharing that, Gary was an outstanding person and parts guy. I definitely miss having him around and seeing him a couple times a month. It’s sad how most of the old generation is retiring. Hope you and your family have a merry Christmas! 🎄
@theforkliftguy used to sit with Gary early in mornings before work, he'd be on line checking out property in Florida. Planning his move. As a road mechanic had to start at 7 am from shop so depending on how far you lived from shop to your first customer was your start time. Parts pu was once a week, I lived 1hr from shop so I had an early start . Once you know the rules you learn how to play the game. On yeah one tip when working on any battery powered machines, first ALWAYS check voltage, next leakage from batt case to truck frame. Be surprised how much trouble you can get into when you don't. Here I go rambling on. You and your family have a great holiday and stay safe.
Awesome videos! I love seeing how all this equipment works, I have the same oakleys as you but can’t find the color lenses you have, any idea what they’re called?

@@shuttlecrab thank you for sharing! I wouldn’t trade the service tech role for anything. I appreciate the support.
