    hahaha whenever we film snap rings we make sure we're doubled up on uv filters cause those things will f up the glass real quick

    Man I sure could use you around. Not many good piggyback mechanics around me. I’ve got older manitous and I love em but not very familiar with their hydraulic systems yet

    That plate is bevelled as it holds your brakes on. Apply pressure to the plate and the snap ring comes stright out.

      Correct. I realized that too late lol the second final drive was a lot easier once I knew that.

    Thanks for the videos. What is your recommended chain lube?

    • @theforkliftguy
      @theforkliftguy  9 месяцев назад +1

      Any “Moly” type chain lubricant. Don’t buy the ones they sell you at the auto parts store. That will just run down your chains and it won’t actually stick to the chain to lubricate it. Make sure it says Moly chain lubricant.

    I think you need a special tool to push down its has pressure

      Yes, you’re right. I realized that too late lol

      I checked the comments to say the same thing there’s a tool to release the pressure. Similar setup if not the same on combilifts If I’m not mistaken

      @@paulsoverhauls yeah I had no idea. To put it back on and on the right side final drive, I used pressure C clamps 🗜️ and I was able to do it that way. I’m not sure what the actual tool required is. Maybe you guys can help me find it.

    That’s exactly what happens to me on a genie drive hub.
