@@joshpurdy3102 ask and you shall receive lol I got one loading up to post tomorrow morning. After that got a couple more coming up either next week or the next. I’m trying to pump out content as much as I can, but don’t worry we got some awesome content coming soon 👀
You need your self a small speaker to blast music when doing PMs or when working outside the customers place, unless you already have music playing from your AirPods
I do need a good speaker 😂 I only have my AirPods in because I get like 5-10 calls a day and I hate having to wipe my hands or remove my gloves to answer the phone.
Seat switch is stuck closed that’s why when you raised it didn’t kill the travel but when you unplugged the connector it stopped….some of the Yales I’ve serviced in the past the micro switch has a thin metal actuator that sits under the metal framework of the seat itself and it has gotten stuck above the framework you should be able to pop the lower cushion off and see it…..I don’t work on a lot of Yales because I am a Toyota tech but I used too.
You’re 100% right! I ended up replacing the seat switch and the customer hasn’t complained since. I guess it’s a very common problem. Thanks for the comment!
Adding to this, if you have the big push button style switch that sits in the middle of the seat. Sometimes the bottom seat plastic will break causing the switch to stay stuck closed. Usually happens from "larger" drivers 😉
Thanks for the comment Alexis! Acquiring customers is not simple. A lot has to do with your connections and reputation. The biggest thing for me was reputation. Do honest work and people will come. I know that’s not very detailed but it’s what worked for me. Build relationships with other vendors and they will recommend you and spread the word for free. Make friends with everyone. You never know who is going to be willing to help you in a time of need. Don’t be afraid to reach out to potential customers and offer your services to them, what’s the worst they can say? No?.. There’s also marketing things you can do, like instagram and Facebook but advertising that costs money. Sometimes it’s not worth spending all that money on advertising, it doesn’t always help as much as they say it will. I hope this helps.
Yeah something going on with the seat switch inspect at least and replace if it's all fked. So funny to see that people use the same kit half around the world. I have the same knife. Totally recommend using a mask when blowing those engines, I usually tend up sneezing black stuff after work😂
@@theforkliftguy that's so funny tho hear😁 my guess is that here in Europe companies are more inclined to "go green" also the maintanence costs are a lot less in electric from what I've found
@@HCAKA13 yes, very true. The only customers that I have that own electric forklifts are farmers and produce companies. Since they can’t have LPG trucks inside the coolers or enclosed buildings.
@@aroddavila the clutch cylinder puts your transmission in neutral, same pedal. Push the pedal half way down and it moves your “neutral” cylinder, then push the pedal all the way down you’ll activate the master cylinder.

If you have a seat belt with interlock, it'll do the same thing just a heads up in case you bump into something similar with interlock sear belt

Checking the resistance to the seat switch would've probably helped
How many trucks do you have overall that you maintain? I have about a 100 but only 2 of those are gas/diesel powered. Theyre all electric nowadays 😁
I would say around 70. Mainly gas/diesel and about 10 are electric.

Where can I order the Yale part from the regulator?
Contact Tanner at material handling supply. Or your local Yale/hyster dealer

Thermostats go bad on those Yales with the PSI engines. It will cut off fuel and die randomly when it overheats.
