Fave Jason movie ever! I know Freddy is in this too but Jason is the best horror villain ever! If I could I definitely want Jason as my best friend! Plus although Jason did pretty much all the killing he is technically the hero of this movie

I’m excited for you see the remake Friday the 13 2009. Best horror remake imo. Also if I could give a recommendation you should check out Smile and Smile 2… such good movies. Especially Smile 2 which ended up being my favorite horror movie of the year!

Great reaction man 👍 I'm a jason fan myself, Freddy VS Jason was my very first R rated movie I snuck into theaters to see at 14 back in 2003. Movie didn't disappoint, my only gripe I wish Freddy killed more then one person also a Freddy fan.

A note on you saying Freddy looked more burned..... Yes. It was a much needed return to form for his makeup from the first 3-4 movies. They got SUPER LAZY with his makeup after part 4 and he looked goofy and ridiculous. If you go back especially to 1-3, he looked badass but if you watched the movies once, unfortunately you kinda forgot how scary he was at first.

boromir always gets to me, man. like. he was a genuinely good, noble, brave, honorable man, beloved by the people of gondor. an absolute legend. but the ring got into his head about how much he wanted to protect gondor and his people and it went downhill from there :( rip boromir you were a real one, me and my homies hate the one ring etc

Watching this movie in the theater when I was 15 was just epic. The beginning, with the recap of all the Nightmare movies, so awesome! I remember that part making me very hyped for what was about to happen.

I loved when you were talking about becoming the Hulk because it was your dream. I used to be what's called a lucid dreamer when I was a teen. Jeez, it was great! It was like writing, directing, and acting in your own stories. And the porn was unbelievable. Unfortunately, my lucid dreaming eventually stopped. I miss it so much.

Such a fun movie man. Great way to close out the marathon.

Apologies for the comment spams but I forgot to mention other details. Jason was never afraid of water itself, but rather was afraid of drowning. I never understood why the writers never fixed that plot hole, especially since we’ve seen time and time again that Jason was always in water. There is a very clear difference between being afraid of drowning and water. Another part that always bothered or annoyed me in this case was that for all of Mark’s suppose intellect and knowledge of Freddy, he ended up being one of the DUMBEST characters in the movie. Dude literally undid all of the hard work that the police and adults of Elm Street by taking away Freddy’s powers by reminding them of him all over again. Ironically enough, Mark ended up being Freddy’s only victim in the movie. How fitting lol.

The end fight is pretty decent but man this movie just feels like a blown opportunity. The fans deserved so much better

I’m so sad the Freddy marathon is over. If you ever want to revisit the franchise, there’s always the TV show Freddy’s Nightmares which is balls to the wall crazy. Or the documentary Never Sleep Again. Love your work.

This was not the original ending that they planned for the movie. In the original ending it shows both Freddy and Jason in hell. Fighting then the Hell Priest or Pinhead breaks them up an says something like what is all this Fighting about. But they could not get permission to use the Hell Priest or Pinhead in this movie. So this was the last minute ending they came up with for the movie. Also yes it was made perfectly clear in the Friday the 13th movies. That Jason is not afraid of the water but they added that. To give Freddy something to work with in this movie.

Hello, Cole. I have another suggestion for future reactions in 2025. For my suggestion, if you want to start reacting to something animated, but don't want to stay away from anything Rated R, Then I would recommend on watching Hazbin Hotel. I really think you will like this series. The characters are fun, the story is great, Music is catchy, and the plot is really interesting. Season 2 is still under production, but it could take about a few years before it comes out. So for now, If you want this Series, you can enjoy Season 1. There is also another series called Helluva Boss. I don't have much information about this series though. What I do know is that Helluva Boss shares the same universe as Hazbin Hotel. If you want to react to this Series too, the choice is yours. What do you think, Cole. Would you be interested?

Freddy vs Jason is one of my favorite movies of all time! Pitting two of the iconic titans of the slasher genre against each other! If you ever react to the 2010 remake of Nightmare on Elm Street, brace yourself! It's split between the fans whether you like it or hate it. I look forward to your reaction to Terrifier 3.

This movie is unbelievably nostalgic for me and I love it... but Jason being afraid of water is total BS. At least our boy got to shine during the kills and fight secnes.

He guys who wrote the movie said they didn’t write the part where Jason is afraid of water. They think it’s dumb like everyone else. The director added that to the script. Everyone knows Jason isn’t scared of water
