    Since you asked;
According to JK Rowling the author of Harry Potter, Harry and Ron decided to not finish school and instead became Aurors (dark wizard catchers like Mad Eye Moody) at the Ministry of Magic. After several years Ron retires from his job at the Ministry and went to work with George Weasley at the joke shop to help him out. Harry eventually became Head of Auror Office and Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
Hermione did go back to Hogwarts after the Battle to finish school and graduated. At one point she went to look for her parents and returned their memories. Later after she graduated she started working at the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic and helped to create laws to protect and improve the lives of sentient magical creatures like house elves, goblins and centaurs to name a few. Much later Hermione eventually became Minister of Magic.
Neville Longbottom became the new Herbology professor at Hogwarts and marries the Hufflepuff student Hannah Abbott who is the grandchild of the owner of The Leaky Cauldron.
Luna became a Magizoologist and married Newt Scamander's (the fictional author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find) grandson, Rolf Scamander. Together they travel the world looking for rare magical beasts.
Professor McGonagall became the new Hogwarts headmistress.
Before Ginny married Harry she became a professional Quidditch player. After she retired she started writing sports articles for the Daily Prophet wizarding newspaper.
Harry and Ginny had three kids together. If I recall the names right, the eldest son was named James Sirius. The second born is Albus Severus. And the youngest child is Lily Luna. Harry is the godfather to Remus and Tonks' son, Teddy Lupin and made sure he was well provided for.
Ron and Hermione's children is Rose and Hugo.
Draco's child is Scorpius Malfoy. Lucius Malfoy again got away scot free with his crimes as a Deatheater like he did after the first war when Harry was a baby where he convinced the Ministry that he was forced to do what he did. Draco got a job at the Ministry and remained on friendly and respectful terms with Harry after the Battle of Hogwarts.
Umbridge was sent to Azkaban for her crimes.
Hagrid remained a professor at Hogwarts but never married.
George Weasley married Angelina Johnson who had been Fred Weasley's date for the Yule Ball in Goblet of Fire.
Harry and Dudly remained on friendly terms and stayed in touch with each other to the point that they even would send each other Christmas cards every year.
Harry, Ron and Hermione in time were each later featured on Chocolate Frog Cards.
There are more stories like that that can be read in the Wizarding World website and also found in documentaries with JK Rowling where she goes into family tree details after the Battle of Hogwarts.

Draco married Astoria Greengrass, (little sister of the one who said to 'grab him') because she wasn't as racist as her sister or other women. Draco regretted the 'Pure Blood' supremacist he was raised as and so he and his wife raised Scorpius to respect others. This upset his parents-but mostly his father-because he didn't marry 'a nice pureblood girl' (ie, racist) and their dinners there were often uncomfortable. Astoria died while Scorpius was at Hogwarts of a blood curse and Draco never remarried.

The scene where Harry sees the ghosts of his mom and dad, Remus, and Sirius makes me so emotional not only because of what you said, how Harry has had to endure so much loss ... but the fact that he's had to endure so much loss and is walking to his death as a 17 year old kid. To hear the words "does it hurt, dying?" come from a 17 year old's mouth is just tragic. He had to go through so much from such an early age and he was so brave. He was a teenager and braver than any adult in the whole series. It's heartbreaking. And a quote that always breaks my heart is that Remus, Sirius, and James got the childhood/adolescence that Harry, Ron, and Hermione deserved but Harry, Ron, and Hermione got to live through adulthood like Sirius, James, and Remus deserved.

There are two reasons Snape treated Harry so badly all through his years of Hogwarts:
    1. Snape genuinely despised Harry, because Harry reminded him of James, who he hated. Snape was never the nicest of people, even while he was trying to protect Harry. He was still a Slytherin at heart.
    2. Even if he'd secretly liked Harry, he was still a double agent, and had to give the impression that he was completely on the side of Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Remember Dumbledore telling Snape that he need the Dark Lord to trust him completely. Any sympathetic treatment of Harry on the part of Snape would have looked suspicious to the Death Eaters. Remember in the Half Blood Prince, Bellatrix was already distrustful of Snape. She wasn't the only one. Snape had an impossible balancing act to sustain.

    • @Bilhelmina
      @Bilhelmina 7 месяцев назад +11

Expansion on 1. Snape knew Lily from childhood and they were best friends until they attended Hogwarts and were sorted into different houses. James befriended Lily and later dated her but was a bully to Snape, humiliating him throughout school and leading him onto the path of darkness.

    • @VR-xk9wy
      @VR-xk9wy 7 месяцев назад +8

2 doesn't make sense, Voldemort was okay with Snape being loyal to Dumbledore so he could spy on him. The same would apply to Harry, it would be in Voldemort's best interest to have another teacher Harry trusted on his side.
Don't make up excuses for mistreating a kid that hasn't done anything bad to you. Snape simply got off on bullying kids and that's all there is to it.

My impression of Snape is that not only did Snape dislike James. He also absolutely loathed the fact that the boy was so devil-may-care with his mother's sacrifice. The whole wizarding world parades around the "Boy Who Lived" and in Snape's mind, he was the only one who remembered "The Mother Who Died", what was lost to actually make Harry famous. Snape was absolutely not a good man, but there is a method to his madness.

It's in the Deathly Hallows book one finally starts to realize the reasons why certain things were happening in the earlier books.
Ron and Neville had a terrible time doing magic because neither one of them got a wand that chose them. Ron had a hand-me-down wand from his older brother because his parents couldn't afford a new one from Olivander. But when Ron broke his wand in Chamber of Secrets his parents had no choice but to get him a new one. Ron's magic improved after that. Neville was given his father's wand for sentimental reason and never got a new one. That is why his magic didn't improve until he became part of Dumbledore's Army and Harry helped him learn.
One of the things never mentioned in any of the movies is that during Half Blood Prince, through Dumbledore's memories sessions Harry found out that Tom Riddle applied for the Defense Against the Dark Arts teaching position. But Dumbledore denied Riddle the job. As a result, it was Voldemort that cursed the Defense Against the Dark Arts job. After the Battle of Hogwarts almost every single person who taught Defense Against the Dark Arts died at one point. Only Lockhart and Umbridge lived but they were cursed in other ways. Lockhart permanently lost his memory and lives at Saint Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Umbridge was finally arrested and placed in Azkaban. The funny thing is that even though the real Mad Eye Moody didn't get to teach the class he was appointed the job and as a result he died during Deathly Hallows. But it was only recently that it dawned on me that Harry can be included in that group. Even though Harry was never hired to be an official Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, he did secretly teach it nevertheless during Order of the Phoenix. So again, thats another good reason why Voldemort failed and Harry was able to beat him. Voldemort unwittingly cursed Harry yet again and therefore cursed his horcrux inside of Harry.
I could be very wrong but I believe it wasn't until Half Blood Prince that it is finally fully revealed as to why Harry always has to go back to the Dursleys for the summer for a few days at the very least. Dumbledore finally visits Harry and the Dursleys in person at Privit Drive and confronts Petunia and Vernon for not only Harry's mistreatment but for the way they raised Dudly. He considered it abusive to raise a child in such a manner. I believe it was then that Dumbledore reminded Petunia about the protection spell on Harry and by taking Harry into her home she sealed the protective spell. Lily sacrificing her life for Harry put an ancient magical protection on her beloved son. There are some certain types of ancient magic studied at the Department of Mysteries. One of those types of magic that is studied that they never showed in the movie version of Order of the Phoenix is love. Just like time, prophecy, thought and death to name a few, love is a powerful form of ancient magic. That is why Voldemort couldn't kill baby Harry. As long as Harry lives with someone with his mother's blood he could not be found by Voldemort. But that magic at the Dursleys expired when Harry became of wizarding age at 17. 🪄

Great collection of details here :)
      One correction on Neville’s magic:
While Neville’s wandwork did improve when he trained with Harry & the rest of the DA, it was still rather weak & inconsistent. His magic was very spotty during the fight in the Department of Mysteries (end of book 5). It wasn’t until Neville’s grandmother bought him a wand of his own at Ollivander’s - Neville mentions this in book 6 - that he was able to perform spells well on a consistent basis.

And Mad Eye's death in the Book was a firey crash in front of the Burrow. And the last DADA Prof was Firenz; the Centaur that saved Harry in the Dark Forest in Sorcerers Stone.

    • @flyingstapler1241
      @flyingstapler1241 7 месяцев назад +1

I think the Defense Against the Dark Arts part is a bit reaching. The books states that the DADA teaching position was speculated to be cursed so that nobody could stay on it for over a year, nothing about them having to die or living as cursed ones after the job. Over half of the DADA teachers were bad guys, so it makes sense they met bad ends. Lupin wasn't meant to die originally. Rowling was going to make Nagini kill Arthur in OotP, but decided to let Lupin and Tonks die later in exchange for Arthur's life. She also said that Ron would've matured quickly and lose half of his humor if Arthur died, so we would've probably gotten a different kind of character development from him instead of the teen drama with Lavender in HBP and insecurity drama in DH.

Oh, man.... seeing Fred lying on the floor in the Great Hall dead is heartbreaking, especially seeing Ron break down in tears. (Hearing that Harry had to sacrifice himself to give them a chance of defeating Voldemort and the Death Eaters didn't help that grief.) Also, I was at the midnight premiere of The Deathly Hallows Part 2 in 3D. The scene where Mrs. Weasley took out Bellatrix got a massive cheer from the audience.
6 points I've made in the past regarding Harry Potter:
    1. The prophecy Professor Dumbledore mentioned in Professor Snape's memory that mentioned a baby born at the end of July was partially true. There were actually two: Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom. They were born in the same month and year, but Neville is only 1 day older than Harry. (Neville: 30 July 1980, Harry: 31 July 1980.) Voldemort had chosen to target a then 15-month-old Harry, thus marking him as his equal. Neville lived a life free of that fear with his grandmother, despite the constant painful reminder of his parents being permanently admitted to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries after being tortured into insanity by Bellatrix Lestrange.
    2. After the Battle For Hogwarts, George Weasley could never cast the Patronus Charm again, since it relies on your happiest memory to work, and literally ALL of his happy memories involved his deceased twin brother Fred. Most likely for a while, until he married Angelina Johnson and named his son after his twin. (According to The Wizarding World website)
    3. Voldemort's death after his battle with Harry wasn't supposed to look like he got snapped out by Thanos, and it wasn't just them isolated in the courtyard.
In the book, Harry and Voldemort battle for the last time in front of everyone else, resulting in Voldemort dying as a mortal man once Neville sliced off Nagini's head, effectively saving Ron & Hermione in the process.
    4. Harry didn't snap the Elder Wand in the book version. He mends his original wand (the one he got in Philosopher's Stone from Ollivander's) with it, then returns it to Professor Dumbledore's grave.
    5. I give HUGE props to Narcissa for straight-up lying to Voldemort after Harry confirmed that Draco was alive. It shows that neither she nor her son wanted the Death Eater life.
    6. That one goblin who stared in shock as the Ukrainian Ironbelly busted through the floor of Gringotts seriously looked a bit like Donald Trump. 😆🤣

Tonks had their baby before the Battle of Hogwarts - Tonks and Lupin had a son, Teddy. Raised by his grandmother, Andromeda Tonks (sister of Bellatrix and Narcissa, cousin to Sirius) and also raised by his godfather, Harry. Teddy basically is a member of the Potter/Weasley family 😊

Can I just say how damn happy I am over how much you appreciated and hyped Harry’s big fucking balls?? He’s one of the most popular characters to ever exist, but I believe his most amazing quality gets over looked due to his popularity, which is how damn brave he is!
The movies did a great job changing what happens from the moment Harry sees Snapes memories, all the way to his walk into the forbidden forest. In the books, Harry sees everyone under the invisibility cloak, but does not say goodbye to anyone. I prefer movie Harry saying goodbye to Ron and Hermione, and telling her “I think you knew, too”. Because it gives Hermione’s intellect the respect she deserves. Of course she suspected!
Harry never even questions it. And after everything he has lost, he just walks to his death like a goddamn hero. If you think about it, Harry’s most courageous and powerful moments involved zero to no magic. Calling Voldy “Tom”, proposing jumping on a dragon to escape (it was Harry’s idea in the books!) understanding and befriending Luna, dissing Malfoy from day número uno in front of everyone, being kind to Dobby. Nothing but respect for my Gryffindor King 🦁

True but in the books, Snape is Gray area look upJK Rowling she even admits hes not really a hero, hes more or less a hurt man, a gray area. He only wanted Harry to live due to protect Lily. He didnt really care for Harry JK i saw video was asked would Snape of didnt care if Lily died ,if not knew her she said yes, he was hateful dispiteful and bitter, he only said to save them all for HER and he ruined his chance with her when caleld her a mudblood and he never grew up, dispite James being a bully, he did grow up. He turned into a good hearted man, that was good and loving. And for sake of Lily, he was willing to eventually, but died before did he was only like 19 20 or so i heard, was gonna tell James sorry for the love of Lily. To make amends but died before got the chance. Snape wasnt good before and during James being a Bully it was just 1 side of the coin, they were like Harry and Draco. So in a way he was in some aspects living out his dads life but in a little different manner and i believe he was living with DUrsleys due to how Harrys Dad was spoiled like Dudley, was and Dumbledore knew also if he lived with otehrs who praised him he may turn out like his dad. See the simulairty?

Goblins firmly believe that the true owner of an object is its maker, so when gryffindor died the sword was supposed to be returned to the goblins but it never was. The whole ownership thing is one of the reasons goblins and wizards kinda hate each other
Snape hated harry cus he kept seeing lily whenever he looked at him, but equally he kept seeing harry's dad who was his childhood bully and the person who "stole" lily from him. That and the whole reason why lily is dead is cus harry was born
The reason why harry suddenly had the resurrection stone at the end was cus dumbledore found it and hid it in there. That stone was actually in tom riddle's ring (seen in movie 6) that he turned into the horcrux that messed up dumbledore's hand. Though thing is, tom never knew what the stone actually was, to him it was just a gaudy family heirloom. Infact, dumbledore at various points had all 3 hallows, and harry was briefly seen as the owner of all 3 at the same time, which some theorise could be why he had an option to return from death
On that note too, in the books its stated that because harry willingly accepted his death to protect the ones he loved, he actually performed the same love protection spell that lily did and what originally caused voldemort's killing curse to rebound onto himself. So in the books it was pointed out after that moment, all of voldemort's spells started failing against everyone, because they were under the same love protection spell, he literally couldnt kill anyone anymore
43:35 - Ok delving very heavily into theory territory here, but what molly weasley does in that scene potentially takes on a whole new meaning after playing the hogwarts legacy game. Cus in that, you can use a similar type of attack that looks nearly identical to what she just did and its FAR from ordinary magic. So either molly is WAY more powerful than she seems, or (my particular theory), hogwarts itself was taking sides and giving people a little bit of its own ancient magic to win the fight

Actually, I heard that in Molly's family the females were stronger with Magic than the males... Molly list both brothers during Voldies 1st War... so that's why she wanted a daughter.
And you can see through the movies how powerful Ginny really is...

    • @RobinNicoagain
      @RobinNicoagain 3 месяца назад

I kinda sign up to the theory that Molly always had the skills with her. She just never joined the battlefront or showcased her skills other than holding the household and raising massive family without bigger issues. She has never been stated NOT being able to do amazing magic on her spare time or before the marriage. 😊

Bravo! You got me all hyped up again for this movie, Remember, Draco's redemption began when he refused to identify Harry at his home because he knew that would be the end of his family and Harry was his only way out, room of requirement Draco just simply wanted his wand back but Harry needs it, like Olivander said its allegiance has changed. in the book when Snape told Harry that he has his mother's eyes, I was blown away, only the people who knew his mother well enough would tell him that and then Snape said it too,. It was Fred who died unfortunately, Lupin and Tonks died too. Yes, Snape was trying to protect Harry all this time ever since he saved him in the first quidditch match he played when Professor Quirrell tried to kill him. Lily's Patronus is a Doe and so is Snapes because he's been deeply in love with her all this time; that is why his Patronus is a Doe too, so it was Snape who sent the doe Patronus. You have to remember Snape is a double agent he had to make it believable to everyone and he did so successfully. Tom must be the one to kill Harry it is essential this way he unknowingly destroys his Horcrux he never meant to create, Harry has the choice to come back and finish him. The movie makers did Ron bad in the movies, he was quite useful in the books just so you know. Harry Potter was in Limbo when he spoke to Dumbledore. I love that mother's love scene with Narcissa, she was so concerned about her son Draco and Harry nodded yes and then she lied to Voldy! That hug from Voldy wasn't scripted, Tom Felton who plays Draco wondered why he was hugging him at all! Narcissa lied so the Malfoys had to leave and hide. From JK Rowling: Harry/Ron didn’t finish their 7th year at school because Kingsley Shacklebolt’s appointment as permanent Minister for Magic, he chose Harry to be head of the Auror department. Ron became an Auror as well. “Harry and Ron utterly revolutionized the Auror Department at the Ministry of Magic. They are now the experts. It doesn’t matter how old they are or what else they’ve done” Hermione did finish her 7th year at school and worked her way up in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Ginny Weasley, after professionally with the Holyhead Harpies, Ginny became the Senior Quidditch correspondent at The Daily Prophet. Neville became the new herbology professor at his alma mater. However, he first served a short stint as an Auror alongside Harry and Ron, helping to clean up any remaining corruption in the aftermath of the war and married Hannah Abott, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are immortalized in the chocolate frog card collection. The Malfoy family was let off scotch free. None of them spent any time in Azkaban thanks to many factors. Draco lying to Bellatrix claiming to not tell if the man the hunter brought was truly Harry Potter or not. They fled the scene during the final battle, choosing not to fight for Voldemort anymore, Draco marries Astoria Greengrass and has a son, Scorpius Malfoy. I enjoyed this reaction very much! Peace! ☮

    • @flyingstapler1241
      @flyingstapler1241 7 месяцев назад +1

The Malfoys fleeing the scene was a movie thing. Narcissa and Lucius were desperately trying to find their son in the midst of battle in the book and stayed in Hogwarts after it was over. They couldn't fight anyway because they were wandless. Voldemort took Lucius' wand for himself and Narcissa gave hers to Draco.

Snape was complicated. He hated Harry because he saw James in him, but he also cared because he saw Lily in him. Harry hurt Snape in ways that Harry couldn't see or understand, but Snape still tried to protect him. Snape saved Harry from Quirrel in the quidditch match, he saved Harry from Malfoy's snake with Vipera Evanesca, he tried to save Harry from Sirius at the Shrieking Shack because he misunderstood the situation and then protected the kids from Lupin, he tried to teach Harry occlumency, he alerts the Order of the Phoenix for Harry, he keeps Harry hidden in the headmaster's tower and stops Bellatrix from cursing Harry after Dumbledore's death and he guides Harry to the sword of Gryffindor with his patronus. In the castle, he didn't want to fight McGonagall and instead escapes, swiftly grabbing his "buddy" death eaters' wands while he flees. Snape did a lot.

The reason why Snape’s patronus was Lily’s was because when a person is deeply in love with another, there patronus changes form. We saw this happen( well, at least in the books ) with Tonks as well, when Lupin refused to be with her Because he was too dangerous in the sixth book. Luckily, he did get together with her❤

Been looking forward to this all week! I recommend watching these movies again in your free time, the knowledge you have about Snape makes it so much more incredible. His hatred for James transferring to Harry, him having to kill Dumbledore, the fact he loved Harry practically like a son but knew Harry would have to die. This series is so much more devastatingly beautiful once you know Snapes backstory. RIP Alan Rickman. Such an incredible man playing an equally incredible character. Harry reminded Snape of his father who bullied him which is why he treated Harry the way he did. The entire time Snape loved Lily but she ended up with James Potter, Snape's bully. While Snape wasn't entirely an innocent victim in their feud it was his reason.
The book explains all of this but the movies also showed some of it with the bullying scene being shown in the Order Of The Phoenix movie when Harry reversed Snape's occlumency spell and then when you saw Snape's memories in this part of the Deathly Hollows. Snape was a jerk to Harry but ultimately he was a good dude who made bad choices in his life.
He wasn't evil like Voldemort or Umbridge.
Even in his last dying breath Snape still loved Lily who was the one light Snape really had in his life.

I remember my mom taking me to see this in theaters. First one I ever saw in theaters and it was a blast.
I remember seeing the reveal that Snape was good and my whole world blew up. My first real exposure to a misunderstood character. I remember crying at the end of this movie. I was happy because they lived Happily Ever After but sad it was over. Even now I still get little teary eyed. My mom died of laughter when McGonagall said, "I've always wanted to use that spell". She's a massive Maggie Smith fan.
I always feel like a proud parent when seeing Neville's growth because it's very similar to me. Very shy and kinda a loser to stepping out of our shell and finding are self's.
I personally liked the Final Duel between Harry Potter and Voldemort more than in the books because this felt like a personal moment, it wasn't for everyone to see. Although I do like how in the book Voldemort dies like a man and doesn't turn into ash. I also like the expression Harry gives when Voldemort does, it's simply RELIEF. He's finally free of this monster. I think Harry breaking the Elder Wand was better than what he did in to book. This TRULY ends the bloody history of the wand and no one else can use it. Harry calling Voldemort "Tom" is great for many reasons:
    1. Shows that Harry isn't afraid of Voldemort anymore.
    2. It's the fastest way to piss him off
    BOOK SPOILERS AHEAD...
Rimus and Tonks's Son Teddy has the same tragic life as Harry(mostly). He loses his parents to Voldemort on the same day Voldemort falls and is orphaned. The difference is he's raised my his Grandmother(Tonks's Mother) and his Godfather(Harry Potter). After the war Neville eventually became the Herbology Professor at Hogwarts, Mcgonagall became the Head Mistress of Hogwarts, the Deference Against the Dark Arts position was PEMINATLY filled(the curse Voldemort placed was broken).
Harry because the head of The Auror Office(basically like police chief or commissioner), Ron would join Harry as an Auror for a while then went to help George Wesley run his Joke Shop after Fred's death. Hermione would eventually become Minister of Magic and all would reform the world.
In the 7th book, Harry is 17 and his parents died when they were in their early 20s. I think they were 21. So when harry sees them hes only a couple of years younger than them.
    BOOK SPOILERS OVER...
If you want to see more Harry Potter content there's obviously Fantastic Beasts but also the game Hogwarts Legacy and many great Harry Potter RUclipsrs. Check them out and you could possibly react to them but that's your choice. The best in my opinion are:
    • SuperCarlinBrothers: they do potter theories, quizzes, and What If scenarios. Including What If Harry Potter was sorted into Slytherin.
    • MovieFlame: he does lots of lore, character life videos, movie breakdowns, differences between book to movie, and more.

Great reaction to the final Potter movie, MISCHIVE MANAGED.

You tearing over the forest scene was so wholesome it makes me cry too!
Was a very nice journey with you buddy!😍😊
35:25 The stone cannot really bring anyone from the dead, just like Harry saw his loved ones, they're not REALLY back from the dead, it can make you see them and talk to them and they can talk back but they'd be back to being dead again. Remember Dumbledore said to Harry once that nothing and no magic can really bring back the dead for good.👌🏻
Also Here what brought Harry back was his mom's protection again!
You see the protective magic of Lily was supposed to stay with Harry until he's of age "which is 17 in the wizarding world" and then wash away because he's no longer a child.
And that's why he had to stay with the Dursleys; because according to Dumbledore the magic would strengthen if he's close to a blood relative from his mom's side because she's the one who unleashed the protection magic, thus Petunia.
The protection magic runs in his very blood yk, like Dumbledore said in movie 1 "it's in your very skin".
SO See, as you now know that once Dumbledore discovered -and rather sensed before truly knowing for sure that Harry held a part of Voldemort in him - he knew Harry would probably have to die..
BUT in movie 4 as he found out from Harry that STUPID Voldemort used Harry's blood to revive his body it actually says in the book that Dumbledore's eyes shone with mirth and happiness!
Because he realized that stupid Voldemort, though he could've used any of his enemies blood it would've worked anyway BUT he insisted on using Harry's because he's stupid and he 1 wanted to torture Harry and 2 wanted to be able to touch him and thought it would work if he used his blood for the revival which did..
BUT Dumbledore realized as I said that by doing that, Voldemort kept Lily's protection alive in his own body as long as he lived! So even when Harry turns 17 the magic would still go on because it lives on in Voldemort's own body now!
So here when he hit Harry with the killing spell AGAIN, it rebounded AGAIN LOL and didn't hit Harry's soul because it was still protected but hit the part in him that wasn't really him which is Voldemort's soul part.. LOL he basically killed himself and sentenced himself to death since movie 4 LOL 🤣🤣
But as the killing curse is so strong it actually gave Harry the option to choose to die if he wanted but he chose to go back to finish it all.👌🏻
Dumbledore knew Harry could survive and was very happy!
But he needed Harry to be strong to walk to his own death in order to deceive and finish Voldemort.. that's why he never explained that to him and gave him the stone to have that little beautiful moment with his loved ones to give him the strength he needed! which was a very right decision from Dumbledore as always.👌🏻❤
    And ALSO! something very beautiful but never mentioned here;
as Harry went to Voldemort to die without fighting back in order to spare the school and his friends.. he basically chose to sacrifice himself for them WHICH actually unleashed THE SAME MAGIC LILY DID! The whole school after that forest scene was protected against Voldemort and his followers!
It said in the book that none of the death eaters nor Voldemort's spells ever hit anyone in the school! it kept deflecting off of them! no one died after that forest scene! They're all protected by Harry's sacrifice now!🤭❤
46:45 Remember he took Malfoy's wand at the manor yes, he's been using it this whole time.
When he took it from him he not only won that one BUT also every wand that its allegiance is to Malfoy SO since the elder wand was Draco's since the tower scene when he disarmed Dumbledore "go back and see it to remember" Harry won its allegiance too! 👌🏻
47:08 No you can't wands can't easily be fixed, if at all, the only wand known to be able to fix other wands IS the elder wand itself.. which brings me to this:
In the book Harry actually DID use it to fix his old Phoenix feather wand that Hermione broke first and then put it back in Dumbledore's grave again, he never broke it.
Its allegiance would be Harry's as long as he died a natural death and no one won it from him, and after Harry's death, its powers will fade with Harry since he as its master was never defeated before death. It's like it'll die with him.👌🏻
That was actually Dumbledore's plan "to have the elder wand's power die with him since he's dying on his terms, Snape would've never been considered that he defeated him or won it from him like Voldemort thought, because it was actually planned between the 2"
but Dumbledore never anticipated that Draco would actually have the guts to disarm him. But it worked in our favor too anyway!🤩👌🏻

Everybody on here who watches the movie before reading the book automatically assumes that the Resurrection Stone will return Harry to life after he dies. That was never the way of the Stone - it only brings back shadows of the holders' dead loved ones. Unlike the brother in the Tale, Harry didn't try to bring back the dead long-term - he only sought their reassurance and support in his last moments before sacrificing himself.

Tom, Snape and Harry were the 3 brothers in the story. Lilly's last word and Snapes's were the same..."Always" When Snape said "I have fooled the most powerful wizard of all times." Was he talking about Dumbledore or Voldemort? Go back and look at Snape's face when Harry appeared. He was so glad to see him. He threw a curse back at the two behind him so they could not hurt him or McGoniCat. (I love that name for her.) It was great watching this with you. "Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living and above all, those who live without love."
Fun Fact: 210,000 coins were made for the scene inside the vault at Gringotts.
Mama Bear Fact: Molly Weasley's line, "Not my daughter, you bitch!" is Dame Julie Walters' favorite line throughout her role as Mrs. Weasley.
RIP Alan Rickman Fact: The death of Alan Rickman caused the word "Always" (spoken by Snape during his memories, seen by Harry Potter) to go viral across the world, in tribute to the late actor.
Casting Notes Fact: The goblin Griphook is played by Warwick Davis. In the first film, he was played by Verne Troyer. Louisa Warren replaced Charlotte Skeoch as Hannah Abbott. She was listed as a "Hufflepuff Senior" (7th-Year).
Make-Up Effect Fact: Harry's lightning bolt scar was applied by make-up teams approximately 5,800 times by the end of the film franchise. Daniel Radcliffe had the scar applied 2,000 times, while the rest were applied to stunt doubles and stand-ins.
Wand Lore Fact: Every wand seen in every film in the franchise was created on-site. Taking the lead from descriptions in the books, each wand was thirteen to fifteen inches long, and created specifically for each character. No two wands were alike. Daniel Radcliffe reportedly broke eighty wands throughout the franchise, because he used them as drumsticks.
Dragon Wangler Fact: The dragon in the vaults of Gringotts has been trained to expect pain when the goblins ring the bell instruments. This form of learning is called operant conditioning, which is an associative learning process involving behaviour modification through reinforcement using a reward or punishment. In this case, the reinforcement was in the form of a punishment, that of receiving pain.

One little piece of knowledge that helps for people to understand the symbolism in Snape's Patronus is that James Potter was an Animagus, like McGonagall, and his animal shape was a Stag. Harry's Patronus is a Stag, for his father. Snape's Patronus is a Doe, because he was in love with the Stag's wife... This is a bit of important side stuff told in book 3 that also helps with the marauder's map, knowing that James, Pettigrew, Sirius, and Lupin made it. Moony (Lupin, the werewolf), Wormtail (Peter, the rat), Padfoot (Sirius, the dog), and Prongs (James, the stag).

Im sure pll have told u but lilly and snape both had a doe as their patronus because snape was so in love with lilly his patronus changed to what hers was. Snape didnt want anyone knowing he was protecting harry and harry reminded snape of james harrys dad so thats part of why he treated harry like crap, but snape really cared for harry. He was the dark knight of these movies. Really Dumbledore was using harry to defeat voldemort, he cared for harry yes, but he raised him and protected him so he could die at the right time. Everyone looks at snape as the villain but he did just as much if not more to protect harry than Dumbledore, he risked his life daily being a secret agent infiltrating the death eaters

Okay, fine, I'll watch 😢 I've been putting it off because watching someone else finish the series reminds me of when I did, and it's sad.

Regular water wouldn't work on that dark curse, fiendfyre (pestis incendium). It's a very difficult curse to cast, and even harder to control and put out. In fact, as you can see, the curse can take the form of snakes, dragons, and chimeras... the fire takes on the personality of the beast it is currently presenting, and is sentient.

I’m a simple woman, I see a handsome man crying over Harry Potter series - I subscribe and wait patiently for the Lord of the Rings 😊 It’s been an absolute pleasure to watch your journey through this franchise and I’m so glad that youtube algorithm brought me here. Can’t wait for the 20th anniversary reaction, it’s an amazing way to close up this series.
As for the Fantastic Beasts series… well I don’t think they are bad movies, but they didn’t do well and the series is now officially cancelled. In my opinion, their biggest problem was that they didn’t know in which direction they wanted these movies to go, so they are kinda everything and nothing at the same time. That being said, they are worth watching just to stay a bit longer in the universe and see a different perspective and Newt is such a loveable character.
I also have just one thing to say about Snape. There’s Alan Rickman’s movie Snape and then there’s book Snape. While movie Snape can be heroic and sarcastic in a funny way, book Snape is just… Neville’s parents got Crucio’d to insanity by Bellatrix and yet his Boggart is still Snape - that says something.

In the books the reason Griphook even want the sword of Godric Gryffindor because the sword is goblin made and is seen as stolen by the wizards

There are multiple reasons Snape treated Harry and everyone badly that wasn't Slytherin.
Snape wasn't really nice to start with and he was undercover the second he started working at Hogwarts. He works daily with the children of death eaters, he certainly can't have them running to their parents saying he was anything but awful to non-Slytherins.
And yes, Harry reminds Snape of James and Snape hates him for it.
It's also good to note in this movie when he fought McGonagall, he only used defensive skills and deflected her spells into the death eaters before leaving so no one would get hurt. At the end of "Half-Blood Prince" when Harry went after him, he wouldn't let the death eaters attack him and he only used defensive spells against Harry. If he had wanted to he could have paralyzed him and taken him to Ol' Moldy that night.

Voldemort did not use avada kadavra to Snape because he thought Snape was the rightful owner of the elder's wand, and he knew the wand would not hurt its rightful owner
Snape loves Harry in Lily's view, but he also hates Harry in James' view

You're the first reactor I have seen that has picked up on that bit of green spell from Ron's wand at the snake! I have absolutely loved watching this reaction to these books that I so love. I do agree that the books go far, far more into it and get more in depth than the movies do - though for a movie based on a book - this series was spot on and fabulous! There are of course, a few gripes that I have about the movies - like, I am not a huge fan of the dancing scene in the tent between Harry and Hermione - there are many, many other scenes that could have been taken from the book, not to mention some cut scenes that would have been so much better to have than that stupid dance scene IMO.
I do hope you go on to read the books yourself - even if only offscreen. They are SO very good. Deathly Hallows always makes me cry, if I get totally sucked into the book, I am so invested emotionally that I just break into wracking sobs from Voldemort's murder of Severus and him finding the hidden Resurrection stone in the Snitch and the appearance of all those who had died. It really blows the mind the revelations of the depths to which Dumbledore had arranged so very strategically. You're right, he is always 1000 steps ahead!
The books actually explain better how it was that Harry was able to not die when Voldemort does Avada Kedavra on him in the forest where it weaves in the enchantment Dumbledore had laid on Petunia and her sister Lilly's connection with Harry through Lilly's blood, and when Voldemort takes Harry's blood to recreate himself a body it tied them even more so together and the thing with their wands sharing a core...it is just....masterfully planned out by the Master Strategist Dumbledore!

When I started watching and reading Harry Potter The 3rd book (Prisoner of Azkaban) wasn’t even out yet.
I live in the Netherlands and every year one of the books came out stores opend at midnight the date of release. Me and my friends always had a party the Night of and waited in line before midnight to get the New book.
And when the movies came out we watched them all in theaters.
Now we read the books to our kids and we hold marathons once in a while and still watch the movies together.
And now I watch you reacting and all the memories come to the service. And it makes me so happy that the Joy and love keeps spreading!
    Hopefully for generations to come❤

Fun tidbit: In the books, at the end of the battle, Harry doesn't break the Elder Wand. He actually uses it to repair his old wand and then puts the Elder Wand back in Dumbledore's tomb.
