Hi Mark, just loved this video clip. We are motorhomers here in NZ and have thought on a few occasions have thought of staying at Aston Norwood function Centre which is what I think you have referred to in this clip. Excited to follow your ventures.

I googled Nazare ,many mentions of the big surf and why. I guess thats why anchoring is hazardous. Hope you having a relaxing few days without the hassle of too much video editing.

The rope will not wrap around the fin. It's not a rotating prop! The stabilizer only pivots back and forward.

Fantastic video and editing Mark. You are so gifted and talented in making special drone stuff. Watched the video 4 times because so well choreographed. Short video yet so meaningful. The drone footage of the surfers was so good and clear. Thank you for video footage of surfers. I was surfing small waves today at Umdloti, East Coast of South Africa. Please stay there until they have the big wave surfing tournament. Only joking. Window period open October until end of February. They still waiting for the gaint waves to arrive to hold the tournament. You can get some fantastic drone footage for us surfers. I do not want to be nitty pickey but one small correction, the biggest wave ridden in the world there was 28.5m. I think it was the beginning of 2024 so still to be entered into offical book of records. It was a German big wave surfer. The wave height you mentioned was previous record held by Brazilian big wave surfer. If I was rich, I would fly there to watch the big wave tournament, even although it is only lasts about 2 days. I would love to watch the surf warriors catching those gaint waves.

anchoring anxiety... we have to embrace it for the adventure it is, or squat in a busy, crammed marina - may as well buy an apartment! Great to see a trawler med cruising - most of the boats operate out of one marina and leave the cruising for sailboats. Good job!

Great stuff enjoying following you. I've a similar sized trawler and tender/ crane set up - always awkward when not calm. I have a strop on the dinghy running stern to aft, makes helps to better control the spinning with one hand and on the controller with the other.

Point of order sir !!!! As a Kiwi Barista I feel impelled to correct your definition of a Flat White. By shear definition a Flat White should NOT feature any ‘Latte Art’ of any description, as there should be insufficient foam (stretched milk) to create such art work. A flat white is just that, flat with the crème visible and 2-3 mm of foam. … Mate at the end of the day if you enjoyed the brew, it brings a smile to your dial and you leave happy you can call it what you like .. Hi Mark. Love the new bracing on the bimini, it looks very robust and should be fine in all conditions now.

Having spent time in the merchant navy and been involved in boat electronics servicing there’s a reason I fitted our powerboat with Furuno electronics. My second choice would be Raymarine. Enough said. Take care and enjoy the journey Mark.

I must confess that I did not start with video 01, so perhaps you have answered this question many times, but I am curious: Are you in a hurry to get somewhere? All the countries you passed have so many beautiful bay's and anchor sports, but you just rushed to the next spot 80Nm further towards ... well you name it. In spring of 2025 I am leaving The Netherlands, heading to The Med, and I wanna stay there for a very long time, exploring every bay that is available.
