I'm using DaVinci Resolve (free version) and a lot of work cutting everything together 😂 there are some tools to help make these "fusion" effects easier to produce, but it's otherwise all manual work to get all the clips in, lined up, and framed.

I don't know how to actually make that concept clickable though! Listing all the instruments is too much, and saying multi-instrumental isn't really searchable afaik. If you have any ideas, I'd love to actually fix that problem!! :)

Thanks so much! It's been a bit of a journey learning to play it, but also so rewarding!

I do a lot of playing by ear, learning pieces and how to harmonize, arpeggiate the chords, and beyond that there are a few ways to go: learning licks, inventing your own, and melodic or motif-based improv. There are some tricks that you can use to buy time when you're thinking about what to do next, but to start I'd do something simple like a 12 bar blues form and just learn how to play the important notes that change from chord to chord. It's a pretty big topic I can't get deep into in a yt comment, but I've considered doing a series on it some day!

Aww thank you! I'm so proud of how much I've improved on mixing, arrangement, and production in the last four years. It makes me so happy to be able to make music that resonates with so many people! I don't know if I'll make a physical version or just release it to streaming services. It's a whole lot of logistics, and my audience is pretty small, so I was leaning toward streaming only. It's an extra $500 or so to do physical copies and licensed Bandcamp, and I really don't think I can sell 50 to break even. But I'll think about it.
