Yay! Glad you liked it Annalisa! I don't know if I'll get the whole soundtrack done, but I'm trying to get most of the highlights! Secret of the forest next week :)
I really love this cover (and the fact that you're doing a lot more Chrono Trigger covers recently!) but I think my favorite part is the subtle bass throughout the piece. It's so soft but really anchors the rest of the melody. Amazing work as always!
Thanks Rebecca! I've had so much fun doing all of these Chrono Trigger songs in the past few months, and I'm glad you've liked them too! My wife knitted the sweater for me! It's my favorite sweater, and the pattern is here if you knit or know a knitter! www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/buckbeak-pullover
Sometimes you just have to change out the tone of an instrument or a whole instrument entirely to get the song where it needs to be. Good call! The end result is terrific
Thank you so much! I just wasn't satisfied with the guitar there because the notes couldn't ring through, and I'm glad I took the extra time to change it out!
I love the video editing on this! All your videos look so professionally produced, they’re a pleasure to watch! I especially like the part where the bowed string section comes in near the end.
Oh thank you! I'm just a team of one trying to figure this all out 😂 I recently switched from premiere to resolve and I think it has really helped my level up my editing as I get more proficient with it.
@@SheaViolin I also made the jump to resolve in the past couple years and I definitely agree! I've found it great for editing too. (Also good to know that this kind of video is possible in resolve, haha!)
@@Purple1222119Music fusion is my best friend in resolve. I never learned aftereffects, and having it so seamlessly integrated is just amazing. I save a lot of my most used compositions as macros and those building blocks have given me so much time back for creativity!
This instrumentation is perfection. The kalimba suits the piece perfectly, and the erhu is soo lyrical and gorgeous. I really love the countermelodies you added to this as well. Amazing job as always!
This has me smiling from beginning to end. Kalimba was a good call; and an enjoyable mix of instruments all around. Got playful with the visual presentation, too, I see!
Thanks so much! Yeah, I've been trying to get a little more creative with the visual presentation lately to make the videos more interesting to watch, hopefully it helps!
@@SheaViolingood work! On the subject of The End of Time: have you heard the jazzy remix Rebecca put out several years ago? You'd really enjoy it, I think!
Thank you! I'm getting way faster at this now in resolve, like WAY faster than I ever was in premiere, so instead of feeling like I'm drowning and barely getting the video edit done at the end of the week, I have a little more time to be creative with the edit now!
Every instrument choice here is absolutely inspired, a fantastic cover as always Shae. You always find so many wonderful dimensions to these compositions that stir the feels.
You cover each piece so beautifully.
Thank you so much!
The kalimba is so perfect 👌
Since I haven't bought that harp yet, it was the next best thing! 😂
This is so freaking cool!!!!!! I wouldn't complain if you did the whole soundtrack ;)

I can still see that old man with his hat near the lamppost.
I need a bucket that restores my hp and mp and a spekkio

I'm so glad! I wanted to just put something under it to support the track when the rest of the instruments came in, and I'm glad it worked!
I never know what you're going to do, but it's always a pleasant surprise. When that melody takes off, we're flying! Also, I want that sweater, haha!

Gorgeous. Love hearing how this came together. ❤
Thanks Joe! I'm glad you liked it!
what a superb set of colors in the instrumentation 🥰
I'm so glad you liked how it turned out!
Been loving the chrono trigger arrangements!!!!
Yay! It's been fun to make a series of these from the same game!

@ThomasMHead I don't think I have! I'll go listen when I get my kids after school!
Putting this on loop.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it so much!
This instrumentation is *mwah*, and also really love the video split screen effects

Its finally here. I remember watching it being made on live. 🔥
Yay! I'm glad you came back to see the final form, since it changed quite a bit from the last state on stream! 💜
This is great. Don't think we didn't notice and appreciate the slow-mo fade on that bell!

I'm glad you liked it!
as usual you have a unique take on this great song and you perform it wonderfully!
Thank you, and thanks for listening!
I love Erhu and Chrono, thank you for this :)
You're welcome! I have another Erhu feature from Chrono coming next Friday, and I think you'll love it!
awesome cover
Thank you!
