I've been loving your Chrono Trigger covers so much, and I'm sure I sound like a broken record at this point, but CHILLS!!! This is absolutely gorgeous, and I love your instrumentation choice. I love the layers of percussion and how you recreate some of those original sound effects with the different instruments.
I'm glad you liked it! The algorithm is fickle, and Chrono Trigger isn't "trending" so there aren't really a lot of people looking for this music. RUclips has some great covers that have literally millions of views, and very few people will choose one with 400 views over one with a million, when a million people already decided the other was worth watching.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm taking a bit of a break from solo work right now to focus on making art for other people. Guest appearances make up more than 95% of the times my music has been heard, so that's my best chance to reach more people.
@@SheaViolin Very true--I composed the music for a short film my filmmaker partner did, and has been shown at a number of festivals now, so many more people have heard that than the albums I've put out, even if it's not the reason they're going to see the film.
That's wonderful! It would be so much fun to play my instruments for mixed media and really add to the sum of the elements and emotions some day. In the meantime I'll keep honing my craft so that I'm ready for any opportunities that arise!

I've had a few tracks that I felt were really breakthroughs for me on improving my mixes, and this is one of them!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! The best thing people can do to help get my music out is sharing with people that you think would like it! Since there isn't an audience for my work that already is watching other channels, youtube has a hard time finding the right audience for my work.
😂 I think it's probably just practice. I play my instruments at least 15 hours a week, sometimes more. I try to keep them all on hooks on the walls so that they're easily available whenever the mood strikes, and lots of skills transfer from one instrument to another like rhythm, interval training, and listening for pitch.
