I love what you did with this! Erhu definitely gives the right feel, especially with that quieter, contemplative part at the start (and the kalimba is a nice touch). Then, picking things up with the rousing guitar and violin! You've encapsulated Frog's character very well!
Right?! There aren't many instruments that can get that part right and stay in their idiom well, and erhu is one! That's why it's been on my list to do FOREVER 😂
I love how you handled those kalimba rolls, it provides such a quaint foundation for the rest of the arrangement - it’s stunningly intimate and doesn’t sound like it’s made up of as many parts as it really is! Brilliant work 😊
