- When I started arranging this song on stream, I accidentally played the accompaniment in 4/4, but then when I played the melody along with it, I really liked the way it felt: super airy and dreamy and lost. Instead of going back to fix the song and put it properly in 3/4 time as the original is, I decided to press on and do an entire dreamy arrangement in 4/4 with a string choir and guitar/mandolin lead trading.
This is also the very second video that I edited with Resolve! The first one was a little rougher, and I'm learning how to use the built-in motion graphics "fusion" to be more creative with the presentation in a reusable way! I'm really excited for what I'll be able to do with this down the line, but it was soooo much work this week to learn a new piece of software and try to adapt my workflow.

That's exactly my thoughts from a few years ago. Then I submitted a few pieces, and these instantly caught way more attention than my original videos of besaid pieces did.
I'd just recommend to give it a try. Should definitely be worth it, although you WILL need guts and patience as the OCR submission currently takes up to a full year until release... 😕
I can consider it I guess! I make so many things it's hard to pick one thing to put extra promotion into, and time spent on the promotion takes away from time working on improving my craft.
