I love the classic gaming era because there's soooo much room to play with the interpretations, and it's typically VERY melody-driven. Plus, most of the original versions don't have official instrumental releases. I'm trying to find a balance of things, since there aren't re-releases of these old titles, they're never "trending." But it's hard to find an overlap with what my audience is interested in and new titles. I was trying to cover newer things to have a chance of being relevant, but so far it's only worked once!
On the other hand six of my last seven uploads have been from the classic gaming era since the modern stuff was flopping! So maybe you'll find something in some of my recent uploads that's interesting. I'm guessing those might not have gotten pushed out because they didn't do well with my existing audience.
