Hi everyone😊 We are Morgs and Jo. We love visiting new places with our fur baby, our little lhasa Apso Boo. We decided to film our travels and share tips as we know how difficult it can be finding dog friendly places to visit.
Anglesey a quick visit and National Trust Plas Newydd House and Gardens
In this video, we have a quick visit to Anglesey. We stop off at Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerchwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch the village with the longest place name in Great Britain and then drive to National Trust Plas Newydd House and Gardens.
We drive onto Anglesey over the Menai Suspension Bridge and leave via the Britannia Bridge
We had a fabulous few hours even in the pouring rain.

We walk over Pont-y-Pair Bridge and along the River Conwy before heading back into the centre passing The Royal Oak Hotel and the famous Anna Davis shop. Lovely trip to Anglesey 😊 the liked the treehouse I would have wandered in to check it out 😁 lovely views then over the water. I always seem to follow your trips and am off to wales again myself just for this weekend. Hopefully will fit in a day at Anglesey again but not certain yet 😊

What an amazing castle that looked from the outside, real fairy-tale castle and very impressive indeed. Good to get there early, especially on a Bank Holiday and nice gardens as well - noisy woodpeckers mind🤣. Shame you could not go into the castle with Boo, as I would have loved a walk around there, it did look amazing. Our grandson would love that train, as he is stream train mad and Mrs Metalman would love the gluten free options as the café, cheers Alan

We find most National Trust places are good with gluten-free options in their cafes 😊 Yes your grandson would have loved the train. It was great to go on. I'd been re watching Downton Abbey before we visited and it definitely reminded me of it. Poor Morgs been working all weekend but me and Boo have had a chilled weekend.

A favourite coffee stop where we always leave time for that walk you all enjoyed. It can get a bit busy in summer though. The railway carriages alongside the toy train you saw is a good place for breakfast or just coffee and cake. Best wishes guys.

I do like a roll top bath (and home made shortbread), Does look a nice out of the way place. Dietary considerations can be a concern at some places but becoming less so. While working I was often taking groups to hotels all over and was often surprised at the lack of basic knowledge sometimes in bigger hotels not just the small family concerns. Beautiful area here to explore. Best wishes once more from Nottingham.
Hi Ivor and Robert It was a great hotel in a very quiet and picturesque place. The homemade shortbread was delicious and because Morgs is coeliac I had it all 🙈 It was such a shame at dinner that the staff member was not really sure about the gluten free options (we had informed the hotel when we booked ) The food Morgs had he said was delicious and the staff at breakfast were very helpful and knew what he could and couldn't have. We would definitely stay again. Hope you've had a lovely chilled weekend and got to enjoy some of the lovely sunshine 🌞

Been passed Conway numerous times on our way to the hammerfest and hard Rock Hell festivals but we never stopped - looks like we have been missing out. I am a NT member so that would be free for me as well and what a great place to visit, well laid out. Dog friendly cafes and clean toilets, sounds idea for everyone, as long as you do not mind a bit of steepness, cheers Alan
Hi Alan Thanks for watching our video 😊 Bodnant Gardens is definitely worth a visit. We throughly enjoyed it. It was Easter Sunday when we visited so quite busy. All the cafes etc were open and all the staff were fab and very knowledgeable. We loved it and so did Boo ♥️ We stayed 3 nights in Conwy (videos coming out soon) it was a lovely place. Hope you had a good weekend and enjoyed some sunshine 🌞
