- This is the 2nd video from our autumn adventures in Scotland.
We leave Spean Bridge and head up the A82 past the beautiful Loch Lochy then we drive along the stunning A87 past the 5 Sisters of Kintail until we reach the beautiful Eilean Donan Castle, one of the filming locations of Highlander. We stop off at this stunning location and then head to Duirinish on the hunt for Highland cattle. After we drive to the pretty little village of Plockton for a quick stop.
We then head up towards our accommodation near Gairloch, the beautiful Sheildaig Lodge.

Eilean Donan Castle is definitely worth a stop off even if you don't go over the bridge. Coffee is nice from there too.
I'll be honest Morgs found Shieldaig Lodge, it was a stunning place to stay. We are limited to where we can stay as obviously they need to be dog friendly.

Always a beautiful area to drive. We have wandered up here so many times. Your two night stop had a fabulous location. Great to wake to to those views. We don`t visit Scotland enough nowadays.

Looks lovely in Autumn. Eilean Donan castle car park still looks busy. I guess it's busy most of the year. Some lovely looking views and the harbour looked fabulous. Never been to Duirinish but does look worth a visit. Nice bit of deer spotting along the way. 👍

Hello 👋 Love Eilean Donan Castle it's such a beautiful location. Oh wow so chuffed you saw dolphins too! Highland cows are everywhere, you'll see them somewhere on your travels I'm sure. I think Plockton is supposed to be Scotland’s prettiest village. I remember that tunnel, choo choo. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Shieldaig. Oh, a bit chilly for swimming. Autumn is the best time to see the west coast. Loved this. Loved the music too. Take care, Ellie and Martyn 🧸🐻

Omg I'd love to see a pod of dolphins. This is a great video. I'd love to visit Scotland, it looks so beautiful. Shame you didn't see the cattle, but I think the dolphins make up for that. Shieldaig Lodge looks gorgeous. I love the excitement over the seal, I get like that when I see one too. Loved watching this.

Great trip! 😍😍 I'm trying to film Eilean Donan for some time now, but the weather is never perfect when I visit 😊😊. Shame about Duirinish cows - never seen them too 😂😂. Next time you'll be in Plockton, you should also visit a Coral Beach - it is quite remarkable place. Also, I must admit that the lodge you were staying looked stunning. 👍👍

Eilean Donan is in a stunning location, only ever walked over the bridge as Boo isn't allowed inside the castle. Still definitely worth doing though.

Very jealous you stayed at Sheildaig Lodge! We've had a week in Garloch these past two years in October. Both times we visited the Lodge, love the whisky bar! Would love to stay over there. Enjoyed your video, we also love Eilean Donan, our favorite holiday cottage is on the opposite side of the Loch. Stayed there for our honeymoon and have been back a few times since. Anyway, great vid, you have a new subscriber ;)

It was our first visit to Gairloch and we loved it
The whisky selection at the lodge was fabulous, we had a great stay. We will be putting a video on of the hotel in the upcoming weeks.
Where abouts do you stay near Eilean Donan , it sounds a perfect location 😊
