Swapped output shaft, filter and pan for trans to convert to 4wd, shoe horned it into the truck, welded up crossmember and mounts to hold it up. I tell people not to put these engines at an angle due to oil starvation. They just tell me its a Toyota it can do anything.

I have 35x12.5r17 on my 3rd gen and honestly they look too wide for a tiny truck. These 10.5 gonna be a plus as soon as I wear down these after this winter for sure. 👍 Thanks for sharing

I love the build and have been waiting for months on its completion since I learned you started this. I seen on Tacomaworld you posted it’s done and driving. This is a swap I seriously want to do to my truck, is there anyway I can pick your brains about what you did? Thank you

Wild that thing sounds much more like a 5vz or 3vz, sounds nothing like my 3rz

Do you run wheel spacers, and if you do what size and what brand. Thank you.

Oh definitely. It would rub the UCA if not. They are 1.5” ones but not sure of the brand. I got them from a buddy.

Thank you. I wanna try that route and see if it will hold and not to cut my firewall. 37 is a heavy tire, and things will start breaking, especially the front end.

This looks great! What screws did you use for screwing the liner back into the pinch weld?
