    That’s too extreme off roading for me.

    Why? Why did the engine blew? What caused it to crap out?

    • @TacomaDad
      @TacomaDad  20 дней назад

      @@bennysax1 the angle it was sitting at, oil all went to drivers side and hydro locked it. That’s what I assume since there were two holes in the block and the intake was full of oil on the drivers side

    have same truck..... Howmuch did it take it blow it? should i be worried? always paranoid about transmission too

    • @TacomaDad
      @TacomaDad  3 года назад +3

      It’s just the off camber and incline that did it in. The oil got in the intake and caused it to either hydro lock or too much pressure and crack the block.

      Just buy a catch can. JLT Performance makes one specifically for the 3rd gen tacoma's. It's saved me countless times from a blown motor since I'm doing a lot of steep off camber trails.

    Thanks for sharing, excited to see the process thats coming. I will recommend that once you have everything out, put a front locker in. Especially with how and where you wheel, it will be a completely different truck. East Coast Gear supply has an option for a Torsen in the front now. You know how it goes, once you are in there might as well re-gear. It's about to be a fun project. I see tons of good content in the future.

    • @TacomaDad
      @TacomaDad  3 года назад +1

      Oh a front locker is a must. It’ll get one. Yeah ecgs is where most of the guys I wheel with get their stuff, so I would too.
