Tesla Cybertruck Ordering Process - It Might Be A Wait
Hi there can please tell us more details about your tires and how do you like them so far . Etc are they noisy and how is the tire treds do you recommend them ???. Thanks
40 000 miles a year on EV ? From my calculation, he's at around 250-300 full charges a year (I stay conservateur on that number). That's with a brand new battery and everybody has a cell phone so everybody knows what happens to battery life over time... After a year, you need to constantly be watching your autonomy and where the next charger is... That's not a roadtrip, that's a chore. That stays in the realm of possibility (I believe he did it) but man... If it's done with coal electricity, I don't see what the gain is for the famous ''planet''. I'm affraid we're supposed to be told that we are barely extracting the current oil demand and that there are more important use than for our car. At least the electric grid is largely based on coal and gas (unlike our cars). That's the only reason the incentives would make sense.
Thank you, buddy!
Here we are a year later and still problems if you don't drive Tesla. I live in a big metropolitan area of almost 3 million people. And the Tesla chargers anywhere near me do NOT support anything other than Tesla. Apparently Tesla doesn't like upgrading chargers so they are the older ones that don't work with the adapters.
I thought the DC is supposed to never stay at 100 and tge AC can stay at 100 percent? Now I'm confused
Post needs to be updated now that MB uses Tesla charging network. With the addition of these networks, MB has MORE charging options than tesla when traveling. Having owned a model S - The model S range is artificial and it’s a rough ride on long trips.
Tesla better range ,faster and more beautiful and the software is 10 years in front....
No one in their right mind would purchase a Tesla today. Why would you purchase something that decreases in value faster than all of the competitors? Plus, Tesla will not be around in five years.
Just bought mine: Ultimate Red w/Black interior!
How much do you take home after tax and expenses for Lyft?
fROM MY EXPERIENCE IN THE PAST, i'D SAY mERCEDES' INTERIO HOLD UP A BIT BETTER THAN YOU'D THINK....
as of 2025 MY, EQE has a $3k differencence between RWD and AWD (350+ v. 350 4MATIC).
Ass much ass I always like the Q8 etron.... The EQE iss the way I'd go (though my choices would bbe the Sportback etron and EQE Ssedan). FOr me, etron is very , very good, but The Mercedes would take it to me do to its reliability on charging, confort, tech, and also, Looks (controversial opinion, but I do like the EQE sedan look). BBUT, where the Benz really wins for me, is on its efficiency. People at this price range may not care about how much a road trip would cost, or charging at home, BUT, if you do care a bit about where the pwower comes from (not likely form solar or wind, but rather coal or natural gas), the MB may be a bbit "greener" due to its amazing efficiency and slippynes. Always been an Audi fan myself, but between this two (granted, I'd be happy with EITHER vehicle), if I could pick, I'd schosose a MB EQE 350+ SSSedan, opt the quadra ssteer, and a couple of featuerss, bu tnot much, and I'd go with that. On charging, I'd give the MB and NACS is sHUGE for my choice. Knocked out cheaper cars that I was considering. Oh, The Fat etron :)
Can you show how to do this with Francie's VinFast?
the 15-30 % in range reduction is the biggest annoyance of ev in cold weather, not really the speed of charging...
I would stay away unless you want to understand the long-term implications of EV ownership because there will be implications when owners live in near or sub-freezing climates where lithium batteries cannot be charged at low temps without permanent degradation or a battery mgt system that needs to use power to heat the batteries before they can accept a charge reliably.
So you basically charge to full capacity every single day?
The charge point charger near me is older one of the two is inoperable
Really appreciate this info.
Nice video. I think you were pretty on point. That being said I took delivery of a Mach-E in New England during a frigid January. ( lows in the single digits and highs in teens or low 20’s F. ) one I find the Mach-E raw projection to be extraordinary accurate. Despite 5 degree AM temps the Mach-E predicted a 202 mile range on a 90% charge. I set the car to precondition the battery and cabin while still plugged in. I need to get the NACS Tesla adapter tough. Im
What a great video! You do such a great job explaining so many different useful features. Thank you for creating this. I've subscribed for more =)
This video was incredibly helpful when making purchase decisions. Thanks!!
I considered buying a used Bolt, but decided to lease a new EV6 instead.
We've been considering replacing my wife's 2013 Volt with a used Bolt. The Volt still works great, but her driving pattern would match a Bolt. The Volt often protests that we never use it's gas engine.😂
I dont have the power folding mirrors on the Select version. Why you lying...
$250 to un-marry a key fob from a car is outright robbery! My experience with key fobs with ews or any modern security are just another way for dealers to charge an hour of labor for 20 minutes of actual work. Key fob for my 19 audi was $500 at a "discount" A 2012 Lexus I used to own, a new fob was $300 (back in 2015 at "dealer cost"). My 2014 BMW's were around $250 a few years ago (2019). I left a key for a leased Ford Exploder in Cancun - that costed $300 in 2015.
I purchased a used prestige Oct 23 for 32K before taxes etc. My one has been a pretty good vehicle, it did have a massive sunroof leak which was remedied at my local dealer. Mine does suffer from the cold brake shakes, keyless entry anomalies, the rear door windows make a crinkling noise, front passenger door rattles and worst of all is the pathetic miles per KW. After a little over a year of EV ownership, I cannot wait to go back to ice power.
I have a 2017 Fiat 500e. Level 2 Chargers do charge slower when the battery pack is cold. It has no preconditioning. It takes about 30 minutes to charge with normal speeds.
How much did the repairs cost- such as for the left control arm and suspension? Im seeing ranges of $1000-$4000 for suspension repairs for this model
I like old school. I miss the heated seats buttons in the front seats in my Ioniq 6.
Sooo witch car y’all ended up having S**
I remember a day when men were different

You did a super job explaining the EV. Well done.
Unmatched for premature battery failure?
Hard to decide.. a 2024 prime is easily 35-40k. A used 2021 long range AWD model 3 is 25k. In that regard, I love the idea of the Prius but can’t justify 10-15k more in cost
😊😂😅😮🎉😮😊😅😢😅😮k🎉😊😮❤😢😊😊🎉🎉😂😊🎉😂😂🎉😊😅😂🎉😮😂😢❤😮😢😂
Oh -11c is cold now. LOL
Best for city driving, with tons of features in the base model 19inch wheels 360 deg censors Rain sensing vipers Park assist and memory park assist (though not that useful) Heated front seats Wireless phone charger Wireless Apple CarPlay Cool app Big trunk Nice and handy climate settings Regenerative breaking, puts power back in the battery Cool head and tail lamps Blind spot assist Sharp exterior looks( better than model Y) Spacious 2nd row seating Very cool app with 5 star rating Lane keep assist Adaptive cruise control Emergency Breaking Nothing to hate about this car , May be not at the level of Tesla in terms of autonomous driving, but has a better turning radius than a model y.
Whats the deal with the heated steering wheel I have a 22 MYLR with the same issue at 42K. That sounds like a defect that Tesla should address.
My 2021 failed just before 15k miles
under 100k miles. on the 3rd “engine”. on any ICE car, owner would be screaming, but the tesla fanboying is so strong
Thanks
F.. tesla became rich like this. Have 2020 x barely make 220 miles out of 350 so called
You missed the biggest point and im not sure how with the massive gear change paddles. This is an Italian Alfa, it can do a green ev commute AND deliver a fun drive with the combined power and rowing gears like a petrol head would enjoy.
Did you always supercharge? Any ideas on why you had such a problem? I'm thinking it's because you were doing rideshare which means a significantly higher wear and tear on the car with mostly Supercharging. Other people had their original battery pack for well over 100k up to 300k. The pack is said to be engineered to out last the rest of the car - not sure i believe that.
They aren’t rolling backwards, they are being powered by the forward motion and mass of the car generating power to the battery, rather than taking energy from the battery to create forward motion in the car. If they were going backwards, then the vehicle would come to a violent stop and then reverse.
My experience hasn't been good. I haven't had a problem with the main drive battery [note: I have replaced the 12 V battery on average every 2 yrs. -- yes, there is a separate 12V battery] in my 2013 Model S85, BUT it is on its 3rd drive unit in 139,000 miles. While that would not be bad IF all the replacements were all under warranty, BUT the last one was NOT under warranty and cost me ~$6700! I do not think that 3 drive units in less than 140,000 is a "maintenance free" vehicle.
That is a terrible range for that amount of charge. I drive one and I get 285 miles from 82% charge
