Carl Jung Is INTJ Explained
Просмотров 8308 месяцев назад
The vast majority of people talking about typology online, including myself, are arm chair enthusiasts. This is one instance where you actually have an expert speaking on the topic. Another debunking mbti video sort of video as plebeians will type Jung as INTP. See my other video on Jordan Peterson debunking mbti as a whole. Here we're taking a look at an asymmetric intertype relation in socionics called relations of benefit or social request. The general discussion begins around 2:47 where rings of benefit are covered through the ring that involves INTJ ISTP INFP & ISFJ (MBTI). In Socionics INTJ = INTp, ISTP = ISTj, INFP = INFj & ISFJ = ISFp arm_chair_typology

I honestly see the MBTI as another version of the zodiac test/calendar. People try to find identity in anything and everything to find self purpose and truth be told most people say it fits or it’s true only because they actually want it to fit so you subconsciously become what you believe is true instead of it actually being true like some sort of false reality to help comfort you in your confusion. 🤔 some of the stats are accurate so you say “oh yea that’s totally me.” while consciously/ subconsciously ignoring the parts that are not just to fit your mold. It’s a fun way to pass the time but in truth it’s damaging cause you still try to find away to know who you really are even after the fact that you agree with the test; then you look for some other test or something new to mold into your ideal persona but you know deep down it’ll never stick and you’ll just keep looking for more. The reason I’m saying this is cause humans aren’t as cut and dry as these test make it out to be, we change and grow every day. As the saying goes “who you are today ain’t the same as who you were yesterday.” Because it’s true; you live, you learn, you grow, you change. Your personality isn’t the same as it was when you were a child and I hope it won’t be the same when you’re a full grown adult in your 60s cuz if you’re still acting like a teen in your 60s then umm i don’t know what to say to that. But yea so if you did this test 20 yrs down the line you’d probably get a different outcome. Today you might be an i don’t know (INTJ) I believe that’s one ? But 20 yrs you might end up being an (ISTP) I’m low key just making these letters up sense I don’t know all of them 😆 but i know they’re random letters put together most starting with I or E so I just went from there. This is not backed up by statistics or anything it’s mostly just logical thinking so if you think I’m wrong or whatever then so be it. I’m just saying 🤷

Make up is there to lure men? Women don’t do all the things they do for men. Also, human beings are responsible for their own behavior and actions. This is not even gender specific. Existence of another person in a shared environment is not an invitation nor a lure nor an excuse for violence or forced sexual encounters or engagement. That isn’t anyone else’s responsibility but his own to address. His hyper fixation on it doesn’t mean everyone else is having this issue, and to suggest this is all there is shows fundamentally flawed reasoning, and a lot of excuses for otherwise dehumanizing others in a predatory frame.

Peterson, once he got famous, kept trickster at arm's length through sedating himself with benzodiazepines. (An echo of his childhood alcoholism). His ego wanted to be taken seriously but was too manic and too sensitive and he knew it. Then when he got addicted and was forced off of them, trickster came back with a vengeance and took Peterson down with him. Peterson has no idea he is now solely fulfilling a societal trickster function and has become a tragicomedic sight to behold. He may be an introvert, but he is trying very hard not to be and has lost all touch with any genuine intuitions he might have had. As an intuitive introvert with a strong trickster function myself, I almost feel betrayed by him. Like we lost him to the dark side (of trickster) and the shadow he created.

He is likely TiSe (LSI) or SeTi (SLE), and I lean TiSe. He spends a lot of his podcasts testing the internal consistency of the logic of the interviewee, and he performs well when challenged by other Ti ego types. He struggles to grasp abstractions ("chimps with typewriters typing on an infinite scale") which shows weak intuition (esp. weak Ne, in this case). He is fascinated by Ni egos-- anyone who can provide some sort of deep understanding of the world or how things "really are". Duncan Trussell is one of his best friends, and I think he is evidently a Beta NF (INFp or ENFj). While I agree that it's not necessarily clear that Se is the dominant principle of Joe's personality, he is pretty clearly focused on physical experience and the extremes therein.

Weird example of an INTP 🤠 I did door to door sales for years and picked up women. I am considered "the friend who got layed alot" in many circles who know me and am considered "the sales friend." But I 100% prefer to be alone watching videos like this and learning shit. I still get awkward with women and in sales and still manage to close deals damn near on accident 24/7. Have many a time "got my dream girl" and am currently with a woman I thought was the shx since I was 16. Jordan Peterson said something like anything outside of the realm of your Big 5 is just you having wisdom. The weight of being extroverted and realizing how many of my abstractions were just IQ mixed in with compensations made me regret my entire life not actively treating extroversion like a Sport. Now my goal is to go to dance classes with my girlfriend and continue to run ads, close deals, run businesses, and study persuasion at the highest degrees possible. However....introverts? Trust me when I say you need to BLINDLY take 90% action and learn how to shut your brain off. It will feel like a sin to ignore your over thinking mind and DOUBLE DOWN my boiiiiiii on just touching. fking. grass. but I assure you my friend - touch grass 10X as much as you theorize what grass is made out of. I assure you when you have FIELD DATA to verify or destroy your theories even your theories will evolve 50X faster.

Am I alone in feeling like I dont want to be trapped in the category of one type? Ive taken the 16personalities test a few times over the years, and i think i got INFP twice and Adventurer/Protagonist the other two times. Its also kind of hard to give the truest (for me) answer, as I feel like I'd have to be put in the situation the questions are asking about to decide.

@@Joyboy0101 not alone I'm sure mostly other INFPs feel that way. Every INFP I've ever mad has a fear of being understandable or categorizable. I personally dislike the archetype of INTP because it feels like people have no idea what an INTP is and just make it out to be some nerdy dork when i consider INTPs to be more introverted Chad/sigmas. This would be akin to saying "am i alone for being caterogize as human because i also share traits of a wolf and a falcon." It's just your personal association with the myers briggs type as for all of us that dislike the categories from time to time.

Peterson has been talking about status forever. He clearly values it above all else. This is a personal reasoning of his. He imagines without wealth, status and the lack of recognition, he too, would feel like shooting up a place, just like when he felt like nothing. But just like the boy who did it, Peterson is ill, and no amount of acclaim can correct the self-loathing that accompanies mental illnesses.

    • @jamjox9922

He definitely has an obsession with hierarchies. None of his arguments exist without that basis, and anything outside of that, he fumbles to speak about until he can bring back the conversation to what he sees as "true." A big part of the problem is his thinking has become more rigid and inflexible. He puts so much belief into his "truths" and that's the problem, it starts to feel like a religion to him rather than a scientific exploration. Science is proven and reproven, and a lot of his claims cannot be fully proven, they are just guesses. He wants to make them into scientific theories; scientific theories are basically true and proven with enough evidence to back it up, while Petersons claims have some truth to them, they are not anywhere close to scientifically true, they're on the edge of truth.

And if I was at party and someone didn't bring a gift, my attitude would be IDGAF. I may care about how other people feel out of sense of empathy or care for their well being. But as far as deciding how I feel about something, I don't care what other people feel. That makes no sense to me. Maybe if they had an objective argument for why something is factually right or wrong.

Well God loved us when we were yet sinners. Romans 5:8(But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us) . However I agree on the point of free will in that one can change and should change. What I believe is that those who truly don't deserve love are those who when given an opportunity, choose to blow it instead. It should be game over for them and God does this too as it says that no more sacrifice is left for such. In short, everybody deserves a chance but when squandered, game over!
