To me Kanye West has indeed Extraverted Sensing energy and he talks a lot about what he feels. He is also focused on fashion and being representative in public, which I also associate with ESFP. What confuses me is that Dave SuperPowers typed him as an INTJ, which is the exact opposite. How can all these personality type break-downs vary so much? It feels like there is a lot of room for interpretation and that valid arguments could be given in a convincing way for several - if not all - types. Any thoughts? Thanks.
I saw Kanye West typed as ENFP, ENTP, ESFP, ESTP, ISFP, INFP, ISFJ, INTJ. It's just crazy how people think all those unrelated personalities for one person!

After watching 4.5 hours of the Kanye trilogy documentary on Netflix, I would entirely disagree. From his earlier years, you can see a more obvious dominant function at play that led to his success as an artist and businessman. Interesting breakdown nonetheless & thank you for posting this!

Nah this guy is wayyy too high in openness to be an Se dom. I’m tired of people whenever an NI dom that isn’t white or afraid to be confident gets labeled as an SE dom. Look again. People of different races are built different and manifest the functions alternatively. Even Carl Jung himself believed in personality differences between races. Kanye is a multibillionaire within the top 2% of the cognitive distribution (above 135) and yet is terrible at spelling. Just because he manifests his gifts differently doesn’t make him an SE dom. Compare him to other black Se Doms and it becomes quite obvious that he’s not quite there even though compared to you he has a lot more se. You have to compare him to his people not compare him to you or the people you know.
I agree with you about black people being wrongfully stereotyped as Se-doms or sensors in general. But that's where it stops. If anything dividing personality by race further confirms there being some type of race biology. And we all know that it wasn't scientific. It was racist bullshit packaged as science to say that POC were in some way intellectually inferior. So let's not support that. And let's not forget that Jung came from a time where ideas like this were socially acceptable. Sure he may have had a part in MBTI but those previously mentioned ideals hold no water with todays knowledge.
