Globalizing game but not including Clark makes no sense. they couldn’t move needle in 27y because people don’t want to watch slow pace boring game. Doing same thing expecting different results = insanity. They think people will watch just because WNBA thinks they should. We are paying customers and want to see Clark. Attendance almost tripled this year and they still can’t take hint. Petty and ungrateful jealous women won’t let another women shine even if she’s adding money to everyone’s paycheck. Seems like Miller is only one with common sense, she see and appreciate talent

Crazy part is how they had Clark highlights on the Sabrina announcement. It's like they did have Caitlin as player of the week, but then changed it. It's pretty obvious what they're doing. Their whole Caitlin versus Reese fake rivalry fell flat on his face, and now they're trying to make a new one. And Sabrina is the obvious choice.

Cheryl Miller, is such a class act, I wish I had paid more attention to her when she played. I certainly missed out on seeing fantastic player and future coach!!

It's a shame that they didn't have a woman's basketball league when Cheryl Miller came out of college. I am 55 years old and grew up in Indiana playing basketball 🏀 Cheryl Miller was one of my idols. And yes, she really did score 105 points in one game and also the first female to dunk in a game. She was head and shoulders above her peers, and even her brother, Reggie Miller, said she was better than him

Don't think they know their own value without Caitlin Clark... Nobody would pay that much for WNBA if not for Adam Silver putting them in as a "must-buy" package for NBA. They can't even get over 500k on average without Clark playing--which is the only way they make money. If they can't even sellout small arenas, then they can't even argue about needing more. All they've done is put Clark down every chance they had and now they're under the impression that all of this booming is because of them--if they wanted to improve exposure, then they should have added Caitlin to their USA team and actually grew the game at what it is currently at. They didn't and think that everybody wants to watch them--which is proven false. NBC isn't happy and they probably will not be happy with the WNBA for this.

The media follows what people are interested in, the other sports draw bigger numbers… the wnba doesn’t realize they’re doing better… during the slowest sports cycle of the year… they have no competition. People aren't interested in women's basketball because a lot of the players are political activists and obnoxious. The players who don't fall into that category and have talent are drown out by the players who do fall into that category. The pressers reveal a lot about this league. Many of the coaches and players are in serious need of media training. On top of all that, the league doesn't want to change the game. Basketball is changing into a faster paced, exciting sport people want to watch and the league wants to keep it the way it's been for 30 yrs.

I would agree. Big difference between Miller and Sides. Miller portrays a wisdom about coaching where Sides seems like she is just now learning the coaching role. Sides seems more like an assistant coach where Miller seems like a Trainer of Coaches.

The first step for growth supporting the WNBA should be getting rid of hateful unprofessionals like Cheryl Reeves. She is a freaking fake, phony and a fraud. The reason for 27Yrs of failure, for the league, is because of low rate angry people like Reeves.

They need to raise the level of play and excitement factor to draw more fan interest if they want more money. A quick fix is to swallow their pride and lower the basket. Why not organize a tournament in the off- season with lowered rims to gauge player and fan acceptance?

Wow! Cheryl Miller is a class act. No, I am not related to her so this Is an unbiased view. Wouldn't it be great to see her in a longer time coaching position, coaching a young team like the Fever That would be wonderful. You will never hear Coach Miller talk about her players in public the way Coach Sides has talked about the Fever players. Sides does not seem to understand the coach/teacher position. I used the word "teacher" because that is what a great coach is. It's a lot more that deciding who plays when. She might very well know the game but she comes across as a toxic element.

I know it’s a long shot but imagine her as the Fever head coach. I know she said she doesn’t want to get back into coaching, but maybe seeing the talent and the IQ in person is too exciting and tempting to her. I mean no lie, with a good d and 3 player added to the roster, they can legit compete for a title next season. But that also means Linn Dun should be willing to let go of Sides which I don’t think is the case. The only hope is for the owner to step in.

Man, it would kill if Cheryl Miller could coach the Fever. I don't want to think about it too much because it will be a let down when she doesn't.
