I guess they're just filling the hole that Taurasi created by being out injured. I wish Celested could play in the WNBA, but it sounds like Phoenix is just using her as a temp. No chance they'll extend it? Or maybe the Sydney thing was pending? I'm clueless. Regardless, I'm sure there will be a big crowd reaction to her when she gets onto the court.
Sydney Flames thing is during the WNBA off-season. I think the Mercury have the option to sign her to a longer contract or let her go after the 7 day one.

The WNBL pre-season doesn't kick off until Sept 11, if she stays on a 7 day there's no conflict but I honestly can't tell you what would happen if she was to get picked up and had to play thhrough the playoffs. Probably stay with her team here since they have a 6 week preseason in the WNBL, but I'm just guessing
