You're so right. I'm the first person in my family to own a gun. Paul Harrell taught so much: gun wisdom, gun responsibility, gun sense. Thank you, Paul Harrell.
Watched Paul for several years. I never found his voice or presentation to be anything but informative, entertaining, engaging and a joy to watch. I have many times pointed people in video's about JHP ammo to his video where he did an exhaustive test of all then current production rounds. I adopted the Hornady Critical Defense standard pressure round after seeing that presentation. Next time I am able to go to the range I will have to do a 21 round salute of that round to this amazing human being. God be with the family and friends duding this time.
I’m in Africa and I don’t know why RUclips recommended this video , n eventhough it never knew this man , or heard of him , good speed man , till we meet again.
So RUclips randomly recommended this to me. I have no idea who this man is. But seeing his non chalant attitude and acceptance of death and seeing all these people in the comments sharing it as well is a really comforting feeling. So thank you Paul and thank you random people on the Internet

@idiosyncraticlawyer3400 a lot of people are getting turned on to his content now. I especially loved his caliber confusion explanations. I learned so much from him. And he was so precise about things, all the "caveats and yeah buts" I wish I shared more of his stuff earlier
A lot of his videos are gun related but he also makes other stuff. I recommend watching the thanksgiving specials where he cooks out in the woods. Those are fun.
His disappointment over his untimely death and him feeling like he let everyone down is really soul crushing to me. Paul, you and the crew have been a pillar of the community.

Not surprised. I expected Paul to do something like this RIP and may God bless you. Paul. Your work has helped more people than you could ever imagine.
“So if you’re watching me, I’m dead” That line is hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. His nonchalant deadpan take on his own death is why Paul Harrell will forever be a legend.
If you are committed to your RUclips audience, this is how you take a bow and exit stage left. He planned for this contingency in advance, which unfortunately happened in this case. Now we can grieve, each in our own way, for a friend most of us never met in person, but a friend nonetheless. Better and much kinder than the videos just stopping and leaving us guessing or making wild assumptions about what happened.
Dont even know who this guy is, but supporting his family, apologizing, and subtly dissing the opps while hes dead?? This guy is a beast. Heaven picked up a new one. God Bless!
Unfortunately RUclips is shadow banning it from the “trending list”. Oh well, 🖕🏻 them. It’s breaking the internet and Paul would love the fact they are trying to stop people from know the truth yet it is still getting out. What a legend.

Rest in peace Paul. I never knew this man, nor watched any of his videos, but this is really a heartbreaking video. I hope the rest of the crew is doing better by now, and may he be honored with grace.
The fact that he doesn’t sound scared or worried and he sounds like someone you’re just having a friendly chat with makes this even more heartbreaking 😢 R.I.P Paul Harrell
You can tell he gets emotional at the end when he finishes the script and starts talking from his heart. Cancer is awful, poor man, he seemed so proactive and passionate about life. Makes me want to value my own life more tbh.
@@WarrezTheWolf ♡ Some people eventually can or already have been able to process death or _non-existence_ and don't feel so terrified by it. Others, may have convinced themselves they have, but they may find themselves unprepared when it comes. I used to find death to be, similarly, intimidating and tragic. My eventual death and the death of others I love. It felt like this huge looming thing, abrupt and inevitable. But as I've gotten older, it just doesn't feel as scary anymore. It feels paradoxically beautiful. Still to be respcted but not feared. Maybe it's just part of getting older... or maybe I'm in for a rude awakening lol.
And as bonus words, _aka quotes I've heard before but stole straight from Google..._ A beautiful death is an ending that leaves room for celebrating a life well-lived "I have now decided that my death should be very precious. I really want to use it. I'd like my death to be as interesting as my life has been, and will be" - David Bowie Appreciation for life Embracing death can help people appreciate life more fully, and to live more fully in the present. The cycles of nature, such as the changing seasons and the decay of leaves, can be seen as beautiful.
Kind of badass of him to make one these "if your listening to this.... *I'M DEAD* ....😎" things. Like the main character in some dramatic murder-mystery movie, except he's real, and WAY more practical. R.I.P Paul.
I’ve always thought it was cool as hell when people make videos to be released after their death. I hope to do the same some day. It’s a concrete way to be remembered and the closest we can get to talking to someone beyond the grave. It’s a powerful thing to do.
That’s the devastating part for me - he knew and accepted his death months before it occurred, even after initially being given years, to the point where he knew he had to film a closure video regarding it. Not sure how the guys got through filming / editing it at the time. Perhaps they just kept the raw footage and waited to edit it later. 😣
The apology upset me. Roy’s piece about the loss of his brother broke me. We knew this was coming, but we sometimes forget about the effects on others. RIP Paul. My condolences to Paul’s family and friends. Goodbye fellah, it’s been a pleasure ‘knowing’ you, watching your content, learning from you.
Watched the video a dozen times now...I get choked up every time he apologies and say out loud, "Why Paul!?! You've done so much!!!" God rest his soul...we've lost an amazingly good man.
He didn't say he was not scared. He carried himself in the video as if he was not, such is the way all men would (should) hope to do. I don't know who he is or what he was about, but I do hope he is worthy of the peace we all hope for.

Watched Paul for several years. I never found his voice or presentation to be anything but informative, entertaining, engaging and a joy to watch. I adopted the Hornady Critical Defense standard pressure round after seeing that presentation. Next time I am able to go to the range I will have to do a 21 round salute of that round to this amazing human being. God be with the family and friends duding this time.

And as bonus words,
_aka quotes I've heard before but stole straight from Google..._

Embracing death can help people appreciate life more fully, and to live more fully in the present.
The cycles of nature, such as the changing seasons and the decay of leaves, can be seen as beautiful.
This dude is a badass for being so casual about his death. I'm gonna watch the hell outta his other videos.
