I have no idea why the algorithm dropped your video on my RUclips feed, but I am glad it did. I am going to be 62 and I would like you to know how your authenticity is what stands out the most in your video. Sometimes, you are talking all over the place but you come off as a genuine person who actually wants to inspire people. Thank you for your persistence and dedication to your life. I wish you much success ! Subscribing because I am interested to see how you can be an example to youngsters everywhere, to not give up. We need that kind of motivation in today’s world.
@jazepsvilums-osborne, why don't you reply to the youtuber who didn't have a full stop then? Nowadays, when people reply the very last sentence wouldn't have a full stop or period due to the reply ending (basically when you finish your reply) It is normal to do that on RUclips or WhatsApp and any others (readon for this is my previous paragraph)
i don't usually reply to other peoples comments but i just wanted to let you know im praying for you and i am sorry for your loss, i dont know what i would do if i didnt have my parents and wether or not u had a close relationship with them im still so sorry and i pray you heal from this
I am 77 years old, and commend you for pursuing dreams, and not giving up. I also feel that my teenage life was so much simpler. I think kids today have too many things put upon them. I lost my dad when I was 24, and my older brother when he was 41. It takes time to heal from wounds such as those. I am glad you got your life success. Have a great life. ❤🇦🇺

@@JakPiggottCan you tell me is there any way to develop such confidence? I'm 15 and I still get embarassed even talking to anyone. I don't know what to do with myself.
When he said "Your hard work WILL pay off" bro that hit hard. I've been working so hard in school and just in life in general and that gave me a little boost to just keep working hard. thank you bro!
That is the single biggest lesson I’ve learned on my journey so far. The hard work will pay off one way or another, either in terms of direct results or character development which will transform into results down the road ❤️
But for me though, I feel like I'm working so hard in school and it feels really pointless. My friends are out there, ending classes earlier because they chose less classes (we're seniors), and making money at the same time. I feel like I'm just really wasting my time in school, making no money. I feel miserable every day going to school atp Idk anymore
@@hannaht6508you don’t need to make any money as a senior bro that’s just a want if your living with your parents and they allow you to live there until your able to provide for yourself. You don’t need money to survive because you still have your parents. Just keep working hard in school and eventually all this hard work is going to pay off and you’ll be happy that you didn’t give up
@@hannaht6508 honestly i felt the same way not too long ago. I was at a really low point in my life, just August of 2023 (last year) through May of 2024 (this year), I had just lost what i thought was a valuable friend and my mental health was really struggling. what i found helpful is when i would talk to my parents about my struggles or even my friends. i got some great support and found the motivation through all the support and that's also how i realized who my true friends were, the ones that stuck by me even at my lowest.
2016-2019 was the golden era for us kids. Edit: guys stop having a war in the replies, I'm talking about Gaming years not actual like going outside years.
I literally never watch these videos where it's like "watch this if ___" but I was somehow drawn to this specific video. I really needed to hear this, especially since I've been rock bottom for the past 4 years. Thank you for your words.
Kudos for your success. Perseverance pays off, partying DOES NOT! SO so happy you are such a kind soul. Don’t ever change. My regards to your mom. I’m almost 70, grandchildren are both infants, but I’m so happy I watched
with my adhd, i can never ever watch 20-minute videos fully without doing anything else to distract myself. but this video was somehow different. you're really relatable, i've been going through a whole lot of stuff like self harm, suicidal ideation, anxiety, and more, but this video made me feel a spark of hope. thank you.
I know how you feel, and I just want to say you are worth so, so much. Please never give up on yourself. It might not help much from a stranger on the Internet, but whoever you are I have set myself a reminder to pray for you every single day. Stay strong.

I don't even know if anyone will see this, but, my life was ruined by social media and internet pornography. I couldn't even face myself when the thoughts came to quitting because I thought my life was over and I genially hated everything to do with myself, but after watching some of your videos I am more committed than ever before to quit pornography and live a clean life. I don't know where I would be with my addiction if I had never found your channel. Your advice is a lifesaver man, cheers.

I saw the title of this video and thought why not watch it ? I have nothing better to do. Little did I know this is probably one of the best videos I have ever watched. Not only is it relatable for most teens in this generation but it’s also one of the best ways to show you should never give up on your dreams even when times get hard. Thank you, I really needed that.
I don't have 18 minutes, but I thank the more descriptive commenters like you for summing it up. - Never give up on your dreams - His whole teenage story
I’m a mom of three boys. 24,21 & 14 and I approve this message. Your testimony is motivation for many. I’m super proud of you kid. I want every young boy and girl to know that sometimes in life you have to sit in the uncomfortable stuff and push through things for success. Don’t give up on your dreams and DREAM BIG!! Much love to everyone ❤
Im 19 and jesusssss this is too relatable. Porn, covid, loneliness, regressed athleticism, all kinds of confidence killers made me lazy and rotted my brain, lost relationships. I need the confidence back and make the grind better
thank you for a wonderful insight into how you dealt with the problems you faced, you are an inspiration for many young people dealing with loneliness and depression, get busy, stay busy,be real, keep going and you will make, congratulations, keep going
Rest in peace ❤ I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. Losing a parent is incredibly difficult😢 I know he meant so much to you. Your dad's influence on you is clear in your work. I'm sure he's incredibly proud of you. He will be smiling and looking proudly at you. He all wanted you to smile. So, be happy and happy 😊❤
As a 20 year old nearly 21 I am incredibly proud to see people younger than me thriving and finding purpose in life, well done and keep going I am sorry to hear about your dad.
I legit teared up. I’m incredibly and almost constantly worried that I will never be able to put in enough work or effort to make my dreams come true because even in my mind they are far out there. And I’m a procrastinator. I hate that and yet I can’t seem to get over it. There is so much, along with school and my social life, that makes me stressed but this video did help. Thank you.
I feel the exact same way. I’m incredibly ambitious and just have so many goals I know I have to accomplish for not only the sake of myself but everyone else who expects much of me but I keep remaking the same old mistakes and get back to my old habits of not putting in as much effort as I need to and I just procrastinate/rot as some sort of escape.
I feel the same way, but I’ve learned to trust in god and pray to him for strength and perseverance. The hardest part about work is starting so just try to start something. Use the result of your work as motivation and take breaks when needed. I can give you all the advice but ultimately it’s up to you. God Bless🙏🏿
@@bigbrainbeen1592 I will be real with you, god will _not_ help you. *directly.* but that never means that you can believe in yourself. you can believe in something for strength like such, and that is fine. If i had said anything wrong, lmk.

Thank you so much for this, i turn 17 in November, i lost my mom in January which only made my mental health worse, i went to the mental hospital in February and march and stopped going to school, i bed rotted until school started back up a few weeks ago, not to be that type of person but my mom passing was a weight off my shoulder, she was the type of mom holding me back, constantly asking for the money i worked for to pay for drugs while she slept all day. But it did make me feel so lost, her passing was so unexpected and she was the only person who listened to me emotionally even though she was such a bad mom, this is the video i need for my motivation to get back up, some more things happened recently that made me have a different outlook on life, i closed my circle and now only the people who showed me they are worth my time get my energy
I'm almost 40, with a 13yr-old son. This was still a very informative and educational video for me. Thank you for sharing your story and being vulnerable. My son is trying to start his YT journey as well, and I believe in him and keep encouraging him to not give up and to try new things. I will be showing him this video for inspiration. We've already had the pr0n talk and I've shared with him how it didn't and doesn't do anything good for our lives. I had YT dreams (and still do), but even at my age, I have my fears. I don't want to see my son crippled by the same fears, so I will keep encouraging him. I just wanted to share a bit. Thanks for your time.
This is so touching. As a teen, it feels like nobody ever truly understands the loneliness besides other teens. Thank you for bringing it up several times and drawing awareness to it 💖❤ Know that you're never truly alone. There's always someone looking out for you.
I am a 14 year old girl, I am typically known as a quiet girl to people. I have family problems one being my parents have been divorced since I was 4, and the difficulty of stand up to my dad for his wrongs. It is really hard to have people talk down about you when they don’t know what you’re really dealing with and I find it hard to talk to people about it even with my mom. On a sad note I have even dealt with some family problems with taking their lives away including me wanting to at one really dark time. So far I really find it comforting to listen to music and play my ukulele which really helps me stop being depressed. And me randomly finding this video is just so encouraging because I can relate to every single part of it, congratulations on your success you have no idea what your videos can do for people including me. Take care
I don't watch RUclips that much but I came across this video in the recommended and clicked on it. It's quite aberrant how many parents think their teenagers have changed behavior because of hormones or simply environment, when in fact their children were struggling with the hardest years of their lives. It's hard to be an adult, but it's even harder to be a teenager and so that no one understands you. I am extremely grateful for watching this video! And for the rest, make up your mind what you want, and if you are afraid that you will lose everything you have gathered in life,I will leave a place next to the poets who are dead but still alive. In the end it's just a graveyard and a lot of fog. So love, learn, do and become what I want
Well done on your success. I'm a beyond middle age female, so no way near your target audience. So just want to say be proud of yourself and I know you have inspired many young people. Keep going, and when the time is right, the perfect partner will walk into your life. My one piece of adivise to you, is be fussy about who you choose to spend time with.
cried my eyes out watching this video, I'm always giving up and everything I do I never see the point behind it, my original dreams feel like something I know I will likely never have, I don't get invited to the parties and I lost my parents, the other kids at school were always assholes to be honest. I'm so glad I decided to watch this video, I almost didn't
I know everything is easier said than done. But. Keep striving for what it is that you believe for yourself. If you stop, build yourself back up brick by brick, and go again. You will feel helpless for a time, then feel euphoric the next and so on. Just keep moving and remember to be kind to you, while building yourself amongst discipline. It's okay to rely on and push yourself but it's also okay to ask for help. I'm truly sorry for your loss. I believe in you, so believe in yourself.
Success is not accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do. ~Pele I'm sorry about your dad ❤

It is crazy how I am seeing this just 3 weeks after quitting a 4 year long p*rn addiction. It is so scary and such a horrible thing that exists because of how easy it brainwashes adolescents, but also because of how easy it is to get access to. I recently stopped because of realization, and everything feels much better now. I even went as far as to confess EVERYTHING to my parents because of how much regret and sadness I felt over everything I had done during the past year or 2. I no longer have these twisted fantasies of people close to me or people around me, and I am no longer addicted whatsoever. I am forever grateful for finally escaping the "p*rn swamp" I was stuck in. I wish people talked more about this as it ruins so many people (it almost ruined me and it was so scary).
9:54 man i can relate so well to this. i make music but im not open bout it ion want people in my school to know i make music but one day my best friend comes to me and says:”man u know there is a lot of people u know bout ur music and they just acting they don’t” that blew my mind. now im always picking the songs that sound less “cringe” when i drop music and etc. this video helped me to understand that people will judge cuz u grinding. thank u
I just want to tell you this is the first video I’ve seen of you and I am an older woman, but one thing that always sticks with me anybody I ever meet in my life is when they speak from their heart and that’s not something people can fake and you speak from your heart. I will definitely be watching more of your videos. Thank you.
I really didn't expect to click on this video and cry from it,I feel like I constantly have to be the best or I'm not going to make it and this explained it almost perfectly. I think I might come back to this video multiple times.
As a 15 year old, i kind of relate to this. Being rejected all the time. always being the disliked one. Loosing loved ones. having a hard time on school etc. ive been broken and hurt all the time, i finally found that one good friend in my life but they left too.. but i never really realized that the one good friend was always there infront of me.. she was there through it all but i couldnt see it till now. Im homeschooled because of the pandemic so its been much harder for me to find friends that didnt want to use me… this friend i have, (I still do) has been here with me since the beginning, she was an amazing person in my life and im glad i have someone like her. There is nothing that can tear our friendship apart now. We have had many good times and many bad times but we get through them, push past them, and work it out till we start moving forward again When i heard i lost my my childhood dog… i lost it.. she passed away at 17 years old (shes my pfp) and we had her since she was 2 years old. I was heartbroken when i lost her. But my best friend… she was there for me she helped me get through it and now im here today because of her. NEVER GIVE UP! ALWAYS KEEP WALKING AND MOVING ON! Always have that one good friend who will help you throughout the hard times, but never put too much pressure on them. (Sorry its a long text)
@coledenjohnson1602 hey. I gotta say, thanks for the reply. Its okay to talk and express your emotions. Never be sorry for needing someone to talk to. And im sure there is plenty of people who will be here too. Keep fighting
I got this on my feed and quite honestly what a woman over 50 would have on common with a new 18 year old defies YT algorithm but i decided to watch you and im so glad i did. I found donetjing in you i havent seen in a lot of younger kids 21 and under. None of them analyse their life and put their heart and dole into things- rather they move with what is trending or that comes to them. But watching you i saw you strive with the chances that come your way and you fall full force into them. That can lead to heartache and victory. Both need to be respected and learnt from. Thank you for posting your story. I needed to hear it to not be disheartened by the young of today and realise winners are made not born.
I am 14 years old, I've seen so many different motivational videos over my 14 years of living, and i've never, never never never been so deeply touched by one in my life, I don't know how to explain the feeling im feeling right now, I relate so much, I understand having dreams, I still have dreams, I have so many dreams, I feel the same way, I don't know if my life will have purpose if I don't go to a soccer academy, its my dream beyond anything, hell I have a youtube channel, its not anything crazy but im proud of it, thank you, thank you for posting this, this has helped me, so much.
Life carries on, even if your dreams get shattered. As long as the brain is operational and your body is alive... you will always have the capacity to dream. Dreams can change, or stay the same. They can be achieved.. or never see the light of day. But the ultimate dream is the journey of life. Regardless of how rocky the road... the dream of having a destination.. is the only dream that is guaranteed to be achieved.
Loneliness affects everyone differently *but* it’s still such a horrible thing to experience. Like they say: *”You can be in a room full of people and still feel alone”* and, coming from experience, this is gut wrenchingly true. I am a proud Mum of 3 teenagers who are not “into partying” either, and that’s ok! My 17yo still receives invites occasionally but, he doesn’t like the atmosphere of drunk and / or drugged people so, he politely refuses the invites. Yes, I worry about them becoming isolated and “losing friends” but, I will never ever force them to do anything they’re not comfortable with doing. You message is a powerful one, Jak, and I applaud you for being brave enough to retell your oh-so-relatable school journey and for not giving up! I’m sure your parents are very proud of you, as am I. xox
i dont know you, nor have i ever watched you, but i swear this vid showing up in my recommended feed for the past 3 days is an act of god. ive been needing something like this because i have been hard on myself the past 2 weeks abt how im getting full of myself and i need to chill on my confidence and school is too difficult and ill never figure this new part out and ill never get a girl whether i try or not and ill never make varsity for my football tea. and it really sucks to deal with. this is eye opening to the fact thay i am not alone and i dont have any words... but thank you
i am a 15 year old girl and i have never related to anything more in my life. this video has helped me so much and has made me feel less angry at myself for feeling lonely at school. I have friends but no close ones and so when all my friends have parties that i dont get invited to it hurts alot. But whenever i feel sad i hide myself from it through sport and end up doing 1-2 hours training instead. thank you so much for posting this!!!
I jus want to say, that I kinda feel you man, like, right now. I kinda feel lonely, only have a kinda small amount of true and caring friends. I try to avoid relationships because I feel im not ready for that type of commitment and I would prob suck at being a good BF. I also had a time of depression where, I felt like I had no purpouse yknow? like I get what you felt like, so this was kind of encouraging, as if telling me others know how it feels. Thank you for this video, it meant a lot to me
I felt just about the same as this comment, I just went through life, feeling like I wasn't good enough, I still don't, but you should try to see the good sides to what you said, avoiding relationships all-together is bad but you showed that you care about what the other person feels way deeper than most people
having few but quality friends is a good thing, you should try and cherish them the best you can :) it's a good first step towards building a long-term (romantic, as suggested by your tone) relationship if you ever feel like it.
I've got 1 good friend that I've kept for 13 years to this day and I am so thankful for it. Last year I got 2 good schoolfriends but this guy got me through the tough times. Trust me when I say that a few good friends are much more valuable than you think. Also I'm single AF myself so can relate. Socially awkward person here :(
I had a lot of friends before but one day I realized that I was slowly drifting away from them, their personalities, their lifes everything was different from before, my close friend who was really nice before started changing after being bullied too much and me not having enough confidence to stop it or do anything about it, then one day he stopped coming to school, his manner of speech changed and his entire self wasn't the same as before as it turned out later his grandma died and his own father was beating him up after the school ended and we switched schools he was a totally different person he kept being toxic and kept telling me to kys everyday, I couldn't handle it so I stopped coming to school too then my other friend who always wanted to fit into the society forcefully and changing his personality changed too for the worse, now both of them are the same, being toxic and not even being able to talk to them without getting roasted for no reason at all
I just lost my entire friend group and kids at my school have made fun of my channel but this video convinced me that things get better an I don’t have to give up I can try my hardest until I reach my life long goals! ❤

I just became 13 a few days ago, and this time, it just hit different. I realised that I don't have unlimited time and I've got to lock in. I'm still kind of unsure of what I want to do, but this video genuinely kinda inspired me, and that's kind of what I needed, ty jack for your content. Keep going on inspiring brother and if you're reading this, I just want you to look at you're life and realise that.. you made it, dont stress.
I’ll give you an advice lil bro… but you don’t have to be sure what you want to do at 13. You’ve literally just started your teenage years! And teenage years are for that! To find who you are and what you wanna do :) Try to enjoy your teenage years at fullest bro! ❤️
You're still so young brother, I would do everything except a couple of things to go back to 13 years old. Time is our most valuable asset. Don't stress that you don't know what to do, when I was 13 I wanted to make the NBA, that hasn't happened. You'll go through experiences and gain interests based on those experiences. Don't rush the process, just have fun without destroying your future and everything will work out just fine. Much love ❤

Im not in a good household situation right now, my family doesn't believe in "curing mental health " like I'm "faking it for attention". My parents treats me like a burden, school is failing. bro that hit hard.

9:54 man i can relate so well to this. i make music but im not open bout it ion want people in my school to know i make music but one day my best friend comes to me and says:”man u know there is a lot of people u know bout ur music and they just acting they don’t” that blew my mind. now im always picking the songs that sound less “cringe” when i drop music and etc. this video helped me to understand that people will judge cuz u grinding. thank u
Same 😂
I just want to tell you this is the first video I’ve seen of you and I am an older woman, but one thing that always sticks with me anybody I ever meet in my life is when they speak from their heart and that’s not something people can fake and you speak from your heart. I will definitely be watching more of your videos. Thank you.
Keep on keeping on!! You be you and keep your chin up! I am proud of you!!
I really didn't expect to click on this video and cry from it,I feel like I constantly have to be the best or I'm not going to make it and this explained it almost perfectly. I think I might come back to this video multiple times.
Thanks for the support bro that’s why your here now🫡
As a 15 year old, i kind of relate to this.
We have had many good times and many bad times but we get through them, push past them, and work it out till we start moving forward again
When i heard i lost my my childhood dog… i lost it.. she passed away at 17 years old (shes my pfp) and we had her since she was 2 years old.
It brings me joy to know that someone related to my comment. I see my mother all the time but shes one of the people who brings me down nonstop. But if you ever need anyone to talk to, im here.
Our generation would be cooked without him
i couldn't improve without him man. dunno what i'd do without him.
So true
Glazed
true
Glazing goes crazy 💯💯💯
Keep it up man. So sorry for your dads death I couldn't imagine losing my dad at such a young age. Much respect for what you do!
I’m sure your parents are very proud of you, as am I. xox
I needed this, my papa is in the hospital and im in a point in my life where im unsure of my decisions, thank you
Good luck bro
i dont know you, nor have i ever watched you, but i swear this vid showing up in my recommended feed for the past 3 days is an act of god. ive been needing something like this because i have been hard on myself the past 2 weeks abt how im getting full of myself and i need to chill on my confidence and school is too difficult and ill never figure this new part out and ill never get a girl whether i try or not and ill never make varsity for my football tea. and it really sucks to deal with. this is eye opening to the fact thay i am not alone and i dont have any words... but thank you
i am a 15 year old girl and i have never related to anything more in my life. this video has helped me so much and has made me feel less angry at myself for feeling lonely at school. I have friends but no close ones and so when all my friends have parties that i dont get invited to it hurts alot. But whenever i feel sad i hide myself from it through sport and end up doing 1-2 hours training instead. thank you so much for posting this!!!
Thank you for keeping on through all the hard times, God’s grace is with you!
Socially awkward person here :(
I had a lot of friends before but one day I realized that I was slowly drifting away from them, their personalities, their lifes everything was different from before, my close friend who was really nice before started changing after being bullied too much and me not having enough confidence to stop it or do anything about it, then one day he stopped coming to school, his manner of speech changed and his entire self wasn't the same as before as it turned out later his grandma died and his own father was beating him up after the school ended and we switched schools he was a totally different person he kept being toxic and kept telling me to kys everyday, I couldn't handle it so I stopped coming to school too then my other friend who always wanted to fit into the society forcefully and changing his personality changed too for the worse, now both of them are the same, being toxic and not even being able to talk to them without getting roasted for no reason at all
15:32 hit me really hard because it was so specifically accurate thanks Jak for making this video.
This video genuinely inspired me in so many ways, I can’t even express how motivating this is…
Thx this really worth to see because because we are all concerned that's why this video is so special.
I just lost my entire friend group and kids at my school have made fun of my channel but this video convinced me that things get better an I don’t have to give up I can try my hardest until I reach my life long goals! ❤
Same, your life will get better. When you get pain and discomfort in your life it makes your life higher that others because for every bad there is good.
YEAAAAHH!!
why are you so short
yess go for it
@@Spooderman77 Because of genetics? Why you gotta be a weirdo lol
To find who you are and what you wanna do :)
Try to enjoy your teenage years at fullest bro! ❤️
@@juanp3825 thanks man
You don't have to lock in, your only 13. Kids want to grow up fast but the best way is to enjoy being young
Much love ❤
Happy birthday dude!!
I am a 14 years old girl. I have been doing self-harm since 2020. It started from me just hitting myself and bruising my arm to using knives and cutter. Im not in a good household situation right now, my family doesn't believe in "curing mental health " like I'm "faking it for attention". My parents treats me like a burden, school is failing. My arms are still scarred everywhere. I lost my 2 month clean streak a day ago, I hope I can find this video again and updates it with my current situation.
And thank you for this video. ^_^
Edit :
Lost my streak today, I'm trying my best but it's not really going anywhere, I feel hopeless.
Do you want someone to talk to about it? I don't know what I can do and I don't know if I will be of any help... but I would like to try.
If not... just remember that this 15 year old guy is cheering you on from the sidelines.
I have so much faith in you and I believe in you, I'm in a similar situation right now but we are strong and we're gonna get through this.
Its okay you'll get through it
Stay strong you can fight through it. We believe in you
Damn you need someone to talk to that's rough as I hope you get better
Truly insprational, from the highs to the lows you explained me!
Excited to turn 18 next year and officially step into adulthood as a girl! Ready for all the new adventures and experiences that await.🍀
Honestly... For me, every year of my teenage years has been a learning experience.
I'm currently 18 and it's an honor and privilege to be getting older. I’m not used to my mom calling me a grown man yet but, I’ll get used to it. 😂
@Zoomer_Boi haha! Lol
That's great to hear, one day you may miss it though, so don't miss out on today in hopes for a better tomorrow ❤
You not experiencing the adult experience at 18. Don't matter if its legal "adult age" 18 in an adult
@@Mothobius im 18 to 19 this December adults for example in the work place even if your like early 20s, 21-23 treat you like a kid but have the responsibilities of an adult i mean sure we don't know sh*t but its very contradicting and our brains are not fully developed until we reach a quarter of a century years old if you take that in perspective.
