Cheryl said when they called her last week to coach she said she didn't want to coach in the WNBA. Then they told her No, Coach the All Star Team. That made her excited and she said yes. She also said when she met with the team she was surprised by how much they want to beat the Olympians. 🤣😂🤣

This is what a coach is suppose to look like. CC and Sides are starting to knock heads. Going to be hard to go back to being coach by Sides. TBH Cheryl is not a WNBA coach. She is just too friendly. The other coaches are bitter. Also, I am 1 year older than Cheryl. I watched her USC Trojan career. I watched her in Los Angeles(on TV) in the 1984 Olympics. She did not play like a female. She was Candace Parker back in the day. Probably more athletic.
Sides does not want to coach CC, she has her own agenda that has nothing to do with producing a winning team. She’s tried to hinder CC instead & it is so obvious!

I enjoyed watching both Cheryl and her brother play. It would be absolutely amazing if sides were fired and Cheryl hired at the Fever. After all, her brother played in Indianapolis as a pro, and the players desperately need a real person knowledgeable about basketball. I mean, sides played but as a coach she clearly SUCKS. So, even though Cheryl has very little if any coaching experience, her playing experience and this coaching the all stars will show if she can or likes coaching. Nevertheless, she is able to communicate with players so that in itself would be a great improvement because sides has lost the locker room, her players.

This game has all the makings of a very strong WE told you moment, one where the US Team management and the WNBA, might just be shown how much of the disrespect shown to Clark by them is not warranted at all and might just show how stupid they are.
Clark now has a coach and the chances of Clark and company lighting up the US team, just got better, and that "Lighting UP the US " all depends on how much time Clark gets on the court.

Man, it would kill if Cheryl Miller could coach the Fever. I don't want to think about it too much because it will be a let down when she doesn't. Is it just me or is she like a mother to everyone, first putting her arm on the reporter's shoulder, then putting her arms around colleagues at the practice? She's really an appealing person. Those sets looked better than what the Fever are doing; just sayin'.
Indiana Fever could have a bright future IF they had the right coach.
I know it’s a long shot but imagine her as the Fever head coach. I know she said she doesn’t want to get back into coaching, but maybe seeing the talent and the IQ in person is too exciting and tempting to her. I mean no lie, with a good d and 3 player added to the roster, they can legit compete for a title next season. But that also means Linn Dun should be willing to let go of Sides which I don’t think is the case. The only hope is for the owner to step in.

The Call out should be for Caitlyn. She got them faster and after 26 after games interviewing her teammates have learned by sitting next to Caitlyn to hear what Professionalism actually sounds like. Again, anyone watching the 26 games of Caitlyn see this, but others see it and recent it and will not give Caitlyn the Credit. Sides should be fired for her Unprofessional behaviors ALL Fans have had to suffer with. OPEN YOUR EYES MEDIA . OPEN YOUR MOUTHS .
Please stop the nonsense…Boston is extremely intelligent and well spoken…she’s actually more professional than CC…from college to now there’s not one game in which Boston displayed unsavory behavior or character…NO CURSING THE REFS OR PLAYERS…NO ANTICS such as the ones CC exhibits at times….stop putting others down to lift CC up…Boston is a professional and a CHAMPION….

Would love to see Cheryl coach Indiana after this year, being that she has ties to Indiana she's a great College player and could relate to the younger players and older ones alike. This will be especially true if they win the All-Star game or even make it close. Also, Sides has made a lot of questionable decisions coaching wise where I think Cheryl will try to win not try to do what's best for an agenda the league is trying to push, the whole Reese, Clark being equal and the RotY being a tight race when it's not. ESPN has been pushing Reese as the League has since this season started and we have seen the lengths they go to just to make her quota stats not just playing the game to win.
Wow! Cheryl Miller is a class act. No, I am not related to her so this Is an unbiased view. Wouldn't it be great to see her in a longer time coaching position, coaching a young team like the Fever That would be wonderful. You will never hear Coach Miller talk about her players in public the way Coach Sides has talked about the Fever players. Sides does not seem to understand the coach/teacher position. I used the word "teacher" because that is what a great coach is. It's a lot more that deciding who plays when. She might very well know the game but she comes across as a toxic element.
It's a shame that they didn't have a woman's basketball league when Cheryl Miller came out of college. I am 55 years old and grew up in Indiana playing basketball 🏀 Cheryl Miller was one of my idols. And yes, she really did score 105 points in one game and also the first female to dunk in a game. She was head and shoulders above her peers, and even her brother, Reggie Miller, said she was better than him

Team WNBA won last time they did this, 93-85. Arike led Team WNBA in points and 7 of those players that lost are on Team USA again, so there’s a chance

How do you beat A’ja?
She's going to have a good game pretty much no matter what, so you have to do what the Sky just did recently - have Chennedy Carter beat Plum, Young, and Gray even worse. Attack Diana when she's out there, attack Gray when she's out there - like be MEAN about it, force them to sit - same with BG, make her prove she can move in the halfcourt and use pace to run her off the floor, even on makes. Hopefully it's A'ja getting buckets and not Sabrina or Lyod, because A'ja is mostly scoring only 2 at a time, and from there it's just about making your shots and making it happen on the floor, more than they do. Which won't be easy since they have better 2 way guards in Lyod and Copper than Team WNBA has but, if Clark, Arike, McBride and Mitchell are clicking they can outscore anybody. I haven't seen this type of talent on the receiving ends of Caitlin's passes ever, so that's exciting but hopefully she remembers that she has a dagger in her back pocket too and not defer TOO much. A timely 3 round burst from CC can ruin any team's plans
Cheryl Miller would be a much better for the Fever team than the existing Christie Sides that always blames the players for her mistakes.
I'm sure there are many of you out there like me, who is actually looking forward to watching this game which I have never even watched a WNBA before this year! Oh, Cheryl Miller knew WAY too much about the status of the Fever. Just sayin!

In the WNBA, most points ever scored through 10,15, and now through 24 games - not a long time, I know - but again, the only opportunity she’s had and she’s done the most in it. Goat is premature, I do joke a lot so that was partly tongue-in-cheek, but only partly.

Angel-Reese can't shoot from under the basket, needs to rebound her shots, and only has two 3-pointers. Caitlin-Clark is third in the entire league for 3 pointers and third for MVP race behind A'ja and Sabrina.💪😝

CC makes real logo shots on a continuous basis in games. Half court prayer shots are lucky makes no matter who is making them. The player who can make half court shots at a high percentage will be a “generational” player for sure….that ain’t Reese. Even in your dreams.
