Waiting for Super, to have my first VR headset

Is the Super still on track for a 2024 release "We're very much on schedule to start shipping within 2024, at least with the QLED version." 5 more months, better be REAL! Also, "The Crystal is part of the 12K Trade-in program, and Crystal owners also get $400 discount when purchasing the Crystal Super." Does that mean Crystal Super is also part of the 12K Trade-in program? So, can I trade in Super for the 12K?

If I migrate from my 8KX to Super Qled can I expect more or less fps with same GPU and game?

Smaller formfactor is a step in the right direction.👍 Personally, I wouldn't buy a Pimax headset with the current big and heavy formfactor, regardless of whether the visual quality is great.

Over one year later after getting my Crystal and where are my wide-FOV lenses? Two promised delivery dates broken and now you're coming out with the Super and its big lenses but still no wide-FOV for the existing crystal? You are liars and cheats.

A few questions regarding this matter: 1. Why do I lose the cursor or it doesn't appear without mouse and vice Versace? 2. How do I use this without VR controllers?

You guys are amazing! This is the first time I have seen such amount of effort and quality being dedicated to a VR HMD. All of the specifications of the Super Crystal fits exactly my needs of a high end VR HMD (Amazing contrast, Vibrant Colors, Extreme Sharpness and High Resolution). I have never seen such headset accomplishing all of these goals in a single HMD under $2000.

will this hmd get a lighthouse tracking into which you put your optical stack or will it be a cover like on the current crystal? (would prefer a shell and not a cover since the cover makes the hmd wider than it was before)

Oh nice I need to be able to work like that at the same time as I develop my games, it will help me a lot but I especially hope that it will be there on the super crystal that I would buy when it comes out

30% less bulky, but is it a 30% weight reduction? I want to know how much lighter it is. The bulkiness doesn't matter compared to weight.

Are you able to state the max IPD range for the super? Mind is 74, and I'd love to find a headset I can use without being cross-eyed.

Please don't listen to anyone telling you to focus on QLED only. There are a significant number of us that think the contrast and beautiful colors of OLED craps all over the QLED panels. This is apparent even in your simple through the lense in the video.

How do we know which one we have? Mine broke because the speaker is attached to the rod with a very thin piece of plastic, and I want to replace it.

Micro-oled light version please!

Looks great, glad you decided to slim down the form factor. One question as a Crystal user, is do you intend to create more robust fully featured OpenXR support that doesn’t rely on Matt’s work to patch the holes? One example would be native support for quad views such as Varjo and Somnium have in their OpenXR runtime.

Might be a Qled thing imho. I see a similar difference with my Quest Pro with local dimming on/off. However, my Q3 looks about half way between. That is, my Q3 looks better than my QPro with local dimming off.

Good choice. Quality first is a better user experience.

Are you evaluating the eye tracking solution from Inseye?

I and probably most others don't care about the front light logo. Please make sure the front cameras are great in low light, and clarity. IF you can have good front cameras, so I can see my controls in flight sims, then I will consider this over the Somnium VR1. Otherwise I will pay the premium for the VR1, because not being able to easily see my controls in game is what I'm needing, and many others.

What do you mean you don't hope to become a boring company? That's exactly what you should aim for. Being predictable, a steady stream of products coming out, no drama's.

I havent been keeping up with VR much lately but how many of these things are they making???? Last thing I saw was crystal and now theres like 3 types of them lol! There needs to be more software in order for VR hardware to make sense
