Just to say I feel the most excited I've been for over 20 years about a new tech :) I feel like I'm 7 years old again! Thanks for taking us into the future :) If there was 1 comment, I wish there was some very easy bullet point list of the advantages and disadvantages of QLED and OLED. Is the oled shaper than qled looking at through the lens footage or the same (oled advantage only is richer blacks though the qled will have local dimming which won't be far off)?
Oled has better contrast (colors), sharper image. Led's are back lit, so when things are black, they are a dark grey on led panels. Oled each pixel can turn off, making it black when off. Oled's aren't as bright. Usually, they have a problem if other light sources are very bright near them (drowning the oled light). In a headset shouldn't be an issue. I have an oled TV, I probably will never go back to a led. Honestly, it was a game changer watching movies.
I would be interested in the optical stack of the OLED version, any details on that. Just curious about optics. Mostly if its a true folding pancake and what is the reasoning behind using folding designs when you have room for non folding design. The headset looks really nice, Crystal already was a good looking headset. I think this looks even better as it removes the excess width, but still retains the wider but shorter design. As XR4 and VR1 look a bit silly, they are so elongated designs.
I'm hoping that the QLED portion of the Bundle version can be shipped earlier so the Bundle users can start using the QLED, and receive the OLED module sometime later when it's ready. Is this a possible scenario? Keeping fingers crossed for your team!

It would be really nice to see DMAS standard on the Super, though. It doesn’t feel good to have to pay extra to get the audio quality my G2 has standard. Love what you guys are doing and looking forward to hearing more about the progress on the upcoming headsets. Well done, everyone at Pimax.
Hi! Changing form factor of Super HMD also means - current lighthouse plate will be incompatible. I guess this means Super headset will have it's own lighthouse faceplate. Also, we haven't seen anything yet about the Mixed Reality faceplate, that would be really nice.
I think the swiss army knife method suits the super and 12k pretty well tbh. I think the crystal light was them dropping the army knife mentality. And that's a great headset, but I think pimax will have the best influence on the market doing exactly what they do now. Pushing limits and innovating.
I ordered the QLED/M-OLED combo. Will you be shipping this with only the QLED panels first and then send out the M-OLED when they are done? Or is the entire order held until both panels are ready?
I am happy to see Pimax focus on the important stuff, the weight, the PPD, and strip everything else down. I am afraid the interchangeable optics system is going to be another one of those that slows down the overall progress. Like...is it really necessary?
Some pretty cool stuff to see! Especially the change in form factor. By current gen standards it's still "big" but just eyeballing it the chassis seems to be around averagish in size, maybe a little bigger, from the era of things like the Index, HTC Vives, Reverb G2, etc... Which I think is fine for something that's trying to cram in so much bleeding edge and high tech stuff. Really looking forward to the FoV improvements and hoping Pimax can deliver on the claims, given some of the numbers I've seen on the XR4 and assume it's using the same panel. Having even around 125~ horizontal with the super high clarity of such a display would be a pretty nice experience. Hoping to have a chance to play around with the headset by the year's end.
When will the Crystal Super be released? Is that more towards the end (December) of Q4? And will they ship immediately, like will it be shipped before X-mas 😉 , or will shipment start in 2025? Really looking forward to the Super!
Dear Pimax! please answer the following question. Since Crystal Super's display specs would need a bandwidth of DisplayPort 2.1 (that RTX5000 cards will most likely have) and since DP is backwards compatible, do you plan to put DP2.1 port on Crystal Super?
This, as these headsets only really make sense with a 5090 / 5080 / 4090. The 4090 will have to use Display stream compression because nvidia :facepalm but for future GPUs DP2.1 surely is a must have.
@@adrenalinejunkie3828 AMD already support DP2.1.... Launch a product only compatible with a DP1.4a doesn't make sense...and it will give a massive compression well above the 3.1 ratio using by DSC for lower resolution. As already said above, a DP2.1 controller is backward compatible. The Super need a controller video which support both 1.4a and 2.1 !(or USB 4.0)
Thing is, even AMD don't support the full DP2.1 bandwidth. And you're stuck with 1 metre long cables on the *one* monitor that does implement DP2.1 lite. Granted, DP2.1 with DSC would be even stronger. But then you'd still be stuck with that 1 metre cable. DSC is just the most elegant way to push higher bandwidth right now, no matter how you cut it. That might change next year, it might not. DP2.1 adoption has been painfully slow to the point that the 5090 is almost here, we have 360hz monitors, and DP1.4 hasn't been a bottleneck. You'll know when that is by the existence of a >240hz 4k display.
Thanks Pimax for your innovation in VR ! Love my Artisan for simracing but hope for a replacement headset soon. Please don't fool us with FOV, make it AT LEAST 130 hFOV for everyone, instead of being a maximum value. In the one pager advert, you're referring to a "massive FOV", but guys, 130°hFOV was the MIMINAL FOV you got from the cheapest headset of the previous line up (5K series). Crystal Super even with 130° hFOV won't have a "massive" FOV anyway, it's just way under what you were providing with previous generation. So don't miss it...
Excited for this one.. would love to see through the lens footage of both the oled and qled with local coming dimming side by side of the SAME footage ideally please.. will there be a mixed reality face plate with cameras on the outside for hand tracking etc coming too?
Might I recommend not having interchangeable ppd lenses. It was not a well received feature of the Crystal, and everyone was relieved when it was removed from the Crystal Light.
Thanks for the regular updates, Jaap - much appreciated! It seems Pimax is trying to make an honest effort to improve communications and product cycles. Love the new Super headset formfactor redesign; pretty happy with my Crystal but if the current-owner discount still applies I'll definitely keep an eye on it for an upgrade.
I love that you guys want feed back that's refreshing from a company! I'm So close to getting the Pimax Crystal Light but the removal of the eye tracking is a deal breaker for me and many others, To have that as a option or bring it back would be amazing hope you see the feed back
Suggestion (for the website/presentation) - There needs to be a compare tool to directly compare the 3 headsets (not counting Crystal Sim). - I don't know what the difference is between the QLED and MICRO-OLED, which is better, and what does the super bundle get me? - this difference needs to be presented better on the website.
Pimax, great that you come up with new products all the time, but why don’t you focus on fixing the issues of other headsets like the Crystal. The Passthrough quality is just unacceptable, you promised to release soon the wider FOV lenses for the Crystal, but we haven’t heard anything about it yet, more than just reviews from prototypes. How about providing solid drivers for the Hand Tracking Module? Right now the way it is it can’t be used. In MSFS2020 the virtual hands are 15cm higher than your actual hands. After some time of use, the hand tracking module is not recognized any more and gives you a USB error. You have to unscrew, then unplug the hand tracking module and then reconnect it for it to work again. It shouldn’t be like that. Pimax needs to honor and respect that a lot of people bought the Crystal and that we are waiting for fixes and promised products for the Crystal.
i disagree - new headset development for PCVR is basically at a standstill and has been for the last 4-5 years. id much rather them focus on R&D for better tech in future HMDs
The only way they make revenue is selling headsets, so it's in their interests to keep pumping out new models to drive sales. Sadly I think they probably view the crystal as a bit of a mis-step in some ways, unnecessarily expensive to make with the XR chipset and battery for a standalone function which never really left the incubator let alone developed into anything usable... I'm not particularly hopeful for seeing any major improvements to the crystal going forward, I think they seem to be focusing all their energy on the light, and the super variants. Not saying that's right of course!
Well done for reducing the size! 👍👍 When development is finished and production is underway I'd love to see you apply the same smaller size (and great new lenses etc) to a next generation "Light" model (perhaps called the "Light Super"?!)...
Wait… pancake lenses were mentioned for the OLED displays at 3:40??? I thought it was always intended to use glass aspheric lenses for both display modules? When did this change?
Are there any plans to have a high FoV lens option for the Crystal Super? ...in order to increase the FoV close to matching the 8KX but with all the improved clarity and enhanced features of eye tracking and auto IPD adjustment.
I asked this before the video premiere. From the video, it seems there will be 50ppd lenses first and these are higher FoV, but they are developing 57ppd lenses for even greater clarity at the expense of some FoV. I’d be happy with just the 50ppd lenses until the 12K is ready.
i dont realy get why you had to make it interchangeable from qled to oled and back... all the expensive parts are in the interchangable-bit anyways, the cost savings are limited to the headstrap and the front-cover... that is if you even find someone that would buy both and switch them regularly, which is a big stretch to begin with. are you being extra complicated for no good reason again?
Yeah Pimax tries everything instead of focusing of one good thing! We don't need interchange ability! Better bring the QLED PIMAX with a small for factor and then wait 3-4 years and bring a OLED design!
Will it still fit comfortably for people with glasses? With my Crystal, I have to use 15mm face mask in order to prevent my glasses from tapping the lenses. Wondering how the fit is going to be with the crystal super. Crystal has been a fastastic headset for me so far. Pimax is headed in the right direction I love it. So many improvements since the nightmare of the 8kx. Looking forward to purchasing the Super!
I havent been keeping up with VR much lately but how many of these things are they making???? Last thing I saw was crystal and now theres like 3 types of them lol! There needs to be more software in order for VR hardware to make sense
That is looking really good Pimax! One more thing I would ask is to improve the facial design. I know some people find it very comfortable but most of us have to mod it adding spacers and so on, also the material used maybe is not optimal, so take a look into there to find some improvements if you can. Also, I would advise to have a look into the focal distance of the lenses, because many people got eye strain with the Crystal and it looks like other headsets in the market are using 2 metters focal distance, and yeah, the focus in those are good, so I don't see a reason why shouldn't work also with the Crystal Super. My Best wishes! Regards.
Owning the Pimax crystal the only thing I can add is that the headphones should be able to get closer to the ears. Because I'm sitting in a motion rig that makes noise . So to illuminate that noise the headphones need to be right against my ears. My HTC vivepro2 did a very good job at that. Oh while I'm here.. a better head strap would finish it of...thanks 😊
Try and make it as small as possible, and it should be a great headset. Although I do think it would be wiser focusing on it being QLED only, like crystal, and work on a smaller OLED headset later.
This would have been smart, however Pimax insist on trying to do everything at once. I have serious concerns about the interchangeable displays and the effect on visual quality. However, if they manage to pull it off and visual quality is not impacted then I will strongly consider buying one.
Maybe as small as possible without sacrificing fidelity. But otherwise, just get a big screen beyond? I'm honestly really curious where the modular lenses and displays take us. I for one love the fact that the 12k might be able to use display engines from the super as well, for better clarity at a lower fov.
@@somerandomperson8282 I'm pretty sure big fov with great lenses is very hard to combine with small and lightweight. At least for as long as we're using glass aspheric lenses and flat displays. So all I'm saying is that, if it's one or the other, I want pimax to prioritise their current goals: massive fov with good clarity, eye tracking, and a bright, high contrast HDR display with good resolution. If they have all that in a package that is comfortable enough to wear for 2 hours, which the light already is for sure. Probably more than the Quest 3. THEN they should start thinking about how they can keep all that and make it even more comfortable. Because there's already options for comfortable light weight headsets. Even if they're not the greatest. But pimax is basically on their own with the current goals. I want them to keep pushing the limits. Wouldn't you agree?
It's going to be compatible with the mixed reality faceplate according to the original announcement in the Pimax Frontier presentation. Not much details are known about the MR faceplate or when it's coming out though. But given the new smaller design of the Crystal Super I'm guessing there's going to be two different plastic plate designs to mount them as the original Crystal was intended to receive it too.
Great work on the updates Pimax! 👏 Keep it up! Definitely hanging out for this Super QLED model to finally replace my 8KX, so long as the horizontal FOV is close to Normal 8KX FOV (130+). Cheers 👍
3840x3840 pixels per eye, okay great but how do we even run this resolution for game at 60fps or more? Is the RTX 4090 even enough ? lol I guess we can always render with a smaller resolution. 2064 x 2208 pixels on my Quest 3 felt "pretty" sharp with the pancake lenses, going for 3840x3840 seems overkill with the current hardware? A VR headset with pancakes lenses, good LCD local dimming or micro-oled and high enough resolution without being overkill looks like a good deal to me
thanks for the update. Please keep them coming. And if possible, can we have through the lens videos of top games like DCS? I'm sure flight sim'ers make up a bulk of your customers.
Looks great, glad you decided to slim down the form factor. One question as a Crystal user, is do you intend to create more robust fully featured OpenXR support that doesn’t rely on Matt’s work to patch the holes? One example would be native support for quad views such as Varjo and Somnium have in their OpenXR runtime.
I'm really interested in the Super. I think the most important problem you guys need to focus on is dynamic foveated rendering, so that 57 PPD can be achieved in every game. The foveated rendering has to make a huge difference in FPS. It has to at least double the FPS.
One more thing that could be improved in the Exterior design is the headstrap, the Crystal has a point where it doesn't go any more down your nape, it gets stuck. I think you could increase the avaliable angle of the headstrap to be placed down the nape, so users with bigger heads can place it better.
Great to see a new smaller design for housing and bigger lenses. I wonder if this housing could be used for the crystal light, maybe a switch over to this once production of the new housing happens, that would be cool.
I would request a measurement of FOV of someone using the same measuring app on the crystal super and the crystal, to see the difference between the two. Probably the best way to gauge real world improvement and difference using crystal as direct reference. Looks good
How about pass through for the super? I hope the quality of the image, and cameras are at least better than the latest Quest, and definitely better than current Crystal, which the image is really bad, I’m assuming because the cameras were never intended for pass through.
I’d suggest a leather face mask option and any chance to make the face mask with a more rounded shape than flat. For us US customers it would make a nice change as I’ve had to modify my crystal to give it a great fit. Right out of the box it just didn’t have a great seal and caused some pressure spots.
I'm really super hyped for this. Pimax is new to me, I can't really find clear information about whether I also have to buy extra "base stations" or controllers or whether they are already included.
My biggest issue with Pimax is that they're working on too many different model VR headsets at the same time instead of pooling their resources to make one, really good VR headset. This is why I bought a Beyond and haven't even thought about buying a Pimax, because as soon as I buy a Pimax headset, they'd have already announced another new VR headset. Bigscreen on the other hand took their time to make a headset that focuses in on doing a few specific things and doing them really well, instead of trying to fill a spreadsheet with every feature possible.
Will you consider an eye tracked version of the Crystal Light? Many find it to be a superior headset to the original crystal, with the only exception being the lack of eye tracking.
Question: Any idea about the resolution for MR pass thru? Any price range for the MR front cover? Suggestion: Please offer a solid storage box with pre-cut foam as accessory. Just this week I got my email from Somnium for their VR1. The MR + eye tracking version is 3499€...
I commend you for pushing PCVR forward. The crystal light is really good but not perfect. The Crystal Super will further improve the design and I am excited to buy one. Will be using my crystal light until then.
The problem is the PPD is too high for gaming. if the Crystal Light had this form factor, with eye tracking, it would be really perfect. I wish Pimax had made the Crystal Light a fully featured headset because the Crystal Super is a couple of years too early in terms of the GPU horsepower they will need to play games.
@@somerandomperson8282 i wouldn't say that to be honest. The new generation GPU's are right around the corner with multiple sources claiming atleast a 50% performance gain over there current gen counterparts. But only the top GPU which costs as much as the headset would be able to succeed in pushing those pixels out. In my opinion these specs are end-game level territory and the only technical upgrade I can think of is OLED panels with higher refreshrates and moving on from 120-> 200+ same thing as the monitor market moving on from 1080 144hz LCD's to soon even 1440p 480hz QD-OLED panels at a 27" formfactor. After this i see companies lowering their prices and more focussing on immersion technology.

The headset looks amazing with this impressive specs but the first thought which comes to mind over here is how it will perform with today's hardware. In my case, I use the headset primarily for MSFS 2020 where I already struggle to have the performance I like paired with nice visuals with my current Varjo Aero headset when flying complex aircraft at complex airports and with lots of online traffic around me. I realize people will use this headset for many different titles where the performance might be of less concern. We also have MSFS 2024 around the corner with a planned release Nov 19 where we of course hope the performance will be much improved in general. Thanks to new code making better use of today's hardware. Just interested to hear others thoughts around performance or if you guys over at Pimax already did some testing you can share the result of. I'm on the fence right now if I should get a Crystal Light for improved colors and FOV vs my Varjo Aero or wait for this one.
30% reduction in size will be nice to have! Great job dev team! I know myself, and a vast majority of the enthusiast VR community, are ‘Pimax Super’ excited… Joke aside, this is bound to be a huge step up from the already amazing Crystal, Crystal Light, Beyond, VR1 and Aero. Not to mention that price is extremely affordable for the tech…
@@SETHalpine for current Crystal owners it will be cheaper. $400 cheaper. Besides that, how’s it compared to other VR headsets price point? The XR 4 is three times the price, the VR1 is even more expensive for its cheapest most bare bone model (and it doesn’t have inside out tracking abilities like the Super amongst several other features like eye tracking), buying a Beyond or Aero will require base stations and controllers which would end up being more expensive than this HMD. Not to mention these panels and optical stack are not cheap. Could be cheaper, maybe, but even MRTV had said in a recent video that at the price point he thinks they’d be losing money. But for a company for VR enthusiasts to survive, the price is way more affordable than it should be. People were assuming it would be well over $3,000 when watching the announcement video before the price was revealed. If it’s not the price for you, then it’s not the price for you. But for a 50PPD HMD, or even 35PPD, you’ll be spending more money. And in some way more than double.
Looks really promising. If we reserve one version, will we have the chance to change that version as more detail comes out? Also, any details about weight?
Quick questions - 1. when this is ready to roll out, will it come out with the complete package so we won't need to worry about purchasing anything additional as everything works in full out of the boxl? 2. Can we use any Meta Quest controller and any other controller with it? 3. Do have a ROUGH target date or period of when the product will come out? Example, November or December this year or next January? 4. Will you ship to japan from day 1?

You guys are extremely important for the future of the industry. Drop the Swiss Army knife mentality and divert attention to QA and we are GOLDEN!
I think the swiss army knife method suits the super and 12k pretty well tbh. I think the crystal light was them dropping the army knife mentality. And that's a great headset, but I think pimax will have the best influence on the market doing exactly what they do now. Pushing limits and innovating.
Love to be able to afford one of these ! the oled resolutions is the best thing i've ever seens so far :) excited !
The 30% reduction in size will add substantially to the usability & comfort of this headset 👍
Appreciate the well done video and updates. Current Crystal owner, and I love my headset. Although still waiting for my wide lenses…
This. Makes me doubt the 57 ppd lense will ever be released to anything but RUclipsrs like the wide fov for crystal.
Like...is it really necessary?
i love you keep us informated, close to us, and motivated to provide great vr headsets ! kudos !
That new design looks really nice, i see one with carbon fiber looking front plate.. that would be quite cool. Matte carbon fiber look.
Transparency as clear as your headsets. Love it.
Yes if this headset does not support DP2.1 then it could be a problem...
@@adrenalinejunkie3828 That is why I wrote DP is backwards compatible, so you can use a DP2.1 port with a DP1.4 card...
Looks amazing guys. Excellent work keeping people informed too
Fantastic work team. Love the work and cant wait for the next teaser wd Jaap and co!
Excited for this one.. would love to see through the lens footage of both the oled and qled with local coming dimming side by side of the SAME footage ideally please.. will there be a mixed reality face plate with cameras on the outside for hand tracking etc coming too?
Thank you for the update. This all looks very good and interesting. Hopefully most of it will work for the planned release.
Might I recommend not having interchangeable ppd lenses.
It was not a well received feature of the Crystal, and everyone was relieved when it was removed from the Crystal Light.
"everyone" lol no. Interchangeable lenses are why I bought the Crystal, and why I'll buy the Super.
This looks incredible!
Can we get another update like this? So much on the horizon, but the Super could rule them all. Ready to pull the trigger!
Can’t wait to buy. Thanks for the update!
Looking forward to learn more about the oled version, it is the most likely to become my next headset i it lives up to your plans
Will there be prescription lens inserts at release?
I love that you guys want feed back that's refreshing from a company! I'm So close to getting the Pimax Crystal Light but the removal of the eye tracking is a deal breaker for me and many others, To have that as a option or bring it back would be amazing hope you see the feed back
Suggestion (for the website/presentation)
- There needs to be a compare tool to directly compare the 3 headsets (not counting Crystal Sim).
- I don't know what the difference is between the QLED and MICRO-OLED, which is better, and what does the super bundle get me?
- this difference needs to be presented better on the website.
Awesome job @pimaxvr keep up the great work!!!
Amen brother. They need to finish the crystal and deliver on their promises before I buy another unfinished product.
Can't agree more
i disagree - new headset development for PCVR is basically at a standstill and has been for the last 4-5 years. id much rather them focus on R&D for better tech in future HMDs
@@killerkon141 Clearly you haven't spent $2000 on an unfinished product...
Cheers Jaap, looks fantastic!!
Cracked a beer and it finished lol.
Wait… pancake lenses were mentioned for the OLED displays at 3:40??? I thought it was always intended to use glass aspheric lenses for both display modules? When did this change?
Pimax Frontier said pancake lenses too, most of the marketing out there is for the QLED version, the OLED is still using glass lenses though.
Got mine booked.. can't wait.😊
Are there any plans to have a high FoV lens option for the Crystal Super?
...in order to increase the FoV close to matching the 8KX but with all the improved clarity and enhanced features of eye tracking and auto IPD adjustment.
12K was the high fov but never has been released in case you guys didn't remember
@@borg2dogthey are still working on the 12k. They don't release unfinished products.
I asked this before the video premiere. From the video, it seems there will be 50ppd lenses first and these are higher FoV, but they are developing 57ppd lenses for even greater clarity at the expense of some FoV. I’d be happy with just the 50ppd lenses until the 12K is ready.
They should include 35ppd for bigger fov.
@@Kryojenix 35ppd on Crystal is way sharp enough and now Super with 50ppd is insane so they should rid of 57ppd and give us 35ppd for bigget fov
i dont realy get why you had to make it interchangeable from qled to oled and back... all the expensive parts are in the interchangable-bit anyways, the cost savings are limited to the headstrap and the front-cover... that is if you even find someone that would buy both and switch them regularly, which is a big stretch to begin with. are you being extra complicated for no good reason again?
@tomduke1297 hmm this is true qled alone would be great at 120hz and 3.8k panels
Good to see that you make it smaller. But how about making the Crystal Light this small, when theres already less tech inside?
I booked the dumble a few minutes after the live pimax frontier I can't wait to receive it, it's going to be crazy!
They did make it 30% smaller.
Maybe as small as possible without sacrificing fidelity. But otherwise, just get a big screen beyond?
I'm honestly really curious where the modular lenses and displays take us. I for one love the fact that the 12k might be able to use display engines from the super as well, for better clarity at a lower fov.
@@giganooz The BSB has low FOV, bad glare and the lenses are not great.
Any update on 60G WILINK ?
Are the Pimax Crystal super part of the exchange program for the pimax 12 k reality?
Will it have an option for mixed reality video passthrough? My main use case would be to see flight simulator controllers and keyboard in VR.
I just noticed that's a hexagonal panel in the QLED? How cool is that? What benefits are you guys getting from that?
Great work on the updates Pimax! 👏 Keep it up! Definitely hanging out for this Super QLED model to finally replace my 8KX, so long as the horizontal FOV is close to Normal 8KX FOV (130+). Cheers 👍
3840x3840 pixels per eye, okay great but how do we even run this resolution for game at 60fps or more?
Is the RTX 4090 even enough ? lol
I guess we can always render with a smaller resolution.
2064 x 2208 pixels on my Quest 3 felt "pretty" sharp with the pancake lenses, going for 3840x3840 seems overkill with the current hardware?
A VR headset with pancakes lenses, good LCD local dimming or micro-oled and high enough resolution without being overkill looks like a good deal to me
If the housing is 30% smaller does that mean the light house faceplate for the OG Crystal won’t fit?
Obviously.
Jeez
thanks for the update.
It has to at least double the FPS.
where are the big fov lenses for the crystal pre orders🤔
Will this be available for purchase through Amazon? I want the reassurance of having their return policy.
You mention the qled version will be shipped first what about those of us who have ordered the super bundle?
If the wide-FOV lenses are anything to go by, you'll still be waiting over a year later. I trust these liars about as far as I could throw them.
Great that you reduce the size of the headset, that will reduce its inertia that is not only proportional to the weight
I would request a measurement of FOV of someone using the same measuring app on the crystal super and the crystal, to see the difference between the two. Probably the best way to gauge real world improvement and difference using crystal as direct reference. Looks good
Fantastic! I love these updates
Would the 60G Airlink be viable at these resolutions? Would like to see that implemented.
RIP Somnium
We hardly knew ye.
I'm really super hyped for this. Pimax is new to me, I can't really find clear information about whether I also have to buy extra "base stations" or controllers or whether they are already included.
From what I saw, I don't think you need any base stations and the controllers are already included. can anyone confirm this 🙃
GRABBY HANDS!!! Will the Light house adapter be ready at launch??
Just reserved the micro OLED
Looks incredible!!!
Keep up the great work!!! I can’t wait to get these in my hands either! 🙏🏽
Does Pimax Crystal Super support HDR?
are there even any VR games that support HDR?
@@Kevin15673 lightsaber in hdr? sounds cool dont know if its possible
Can I get ur crystal light when u buy crystal super
@@somerandomperson8282 I doubt the super will come out for at least a year and we will have the 5090 to pair with it.
@@angrybeaver6667 hmm it doesn't sound like it's a year away. Maybe 6 months?
Great update. Poease do keep them coming so that we can gauge the release date 🫶
Just two screens in a box, few cameras and lens...No ram, no chipset....The price could be lower...
I just ordered the light now I’m thinking I need to change it. Wish there was an upgrade path for light users until the Super is released.
Looks really promising. If we reserve one version, will we have the chance to change that version as more detail comes out? Also, any details about weight?
will be my 1st pimax headset❤
mine too, finally I am gonna change my HTC Vive Pro 2 - there are only problems with them
Waiting for Super, to have my first VR headset
Quick questions - 1. when this is ready to roll out, will it come out with the complete package so we won't need to worry about purchasing anything additional as everything works in full out of the boxl? 2. Can we use any Meta Quest controller and any other controller with it? 3. Do have a ROUGH target date or period of when the product will come out? Example, November or December this year or next January? 4. Will you ship to japan from day 1?
