No problem, I appreciated that and thought you were correct and brave in doing it. Then you started another one, But, you explained exactly what happened. I appreciated that. You started this second one, that I thought would be absolutely cool. It was the one where you were in the middle and the table laid around you. I was really looking forward to watching that develop. After Two episodes, I opened the the third episode, and it was totally different, but, it was like the L shaped one, that you just discarded. It was as if you went backward. This was very disconcerting to me and, you explained nothing. I really didn't appreciate that. What is going on with that?

Do you think that same product will work directly on plywood and have the same results or does it need to be on foam

using regular masking tape can allow for the paint to bleed, if you use a painters tape or fog tape the bleeding can be eliminated

When I was doing some painting in my home, I purchased a drywall hand sander that hooks up to a shop vac to eliminate dust

I found your channel this week and just finished watching and liking literally every video. I learned so much. Also learned my layout has a lot of room for improvement, including my EZ track layout. I need more realism and am less nervous about after watching yours. So cool...You should add a "Guest Book" to your layout like you saw at the Colorado Model RR Museum. Binks obviously the first guest, but everyone who comments on a vid could be added. Could be cool.

I’ve found a much better product than Woodland Scenics Smooth-It for making streets and highways for model railroads: Red Devil OneTime Lightweight Spackle. It’s pre-mixed. No fuss, no mess. Just apply with a putty knife between the paving tape (though I do recommend masking tape underneath that if applying to a plywood base). It sands easily with much less dust, and takes paint beautifully. Why mix a powdery product that usually winds up in your lungs when you don’t have to!

Nice work. They immediately transformed the areas you put them in. I built some the same way. Once you feel good about this method you can create variations for even more realism.

you need to find away to taper the trees as you reach the tops. Pines have narrow tops to them. other wise the trees look good

you forgot to spray rubbing alcohol to lock the ballast in place. if you just add scenic glue it sometimes can lift the ballast grains. It also helps disperse the glue throughout the ballast.

Looks great!! Just as a suggestion you might want to put in a backdrop soon so that you don’t have to move all the boards at the same time once you have built som3 of your other boards. Don’t ask me how I know this 😂
